Shu Hui frowned, wondering where Cao Gang got the nerve to come up to her. She was too lazy to deal with this scoundrel, so she grabbed a broom and tried to chase him away.
Cao Gang wasn't fearless, but he was drunk. Even if he did something bad, as long as he said "I'm drunk," no one would really do anything to him!
Cao Gang had been coveting Shu Hui for a long time. This woman had delicate skin and a gentle demeanor. Every time she saw him, she would act all coquettish, which made Cao Gang's desire for her even stronger.

Shu Hui trembled with fear. Holding a broom, she pointed fiercely at Cao Gang and said in a trembling voice:
"Don't come any closer! Or I'll call for help!"
“Go ahead and scream, no one will come to save you no matter how loud you scream. The neighbors all know that you sleep at my house at night, and your bra is still hanging on my clothesline…” Cao Gang leered.
"Pah! You're talking nonsense!" Even a rabbit will bite when cornered. Shu Hui, who was usually mild-mannered and quiet, was pushed to her limit by Cao Gang. "Who's sleeping in your house? How can you lie through your teeth? I'm warning you, don't talk nonsense, or I'll report you to the police!"
Cao Gang was a seasoned veteran; he wasn't afraid of Shu Hui's threats.
"Sue me? What grounds do you have to sue me? You think the police will listen to you? Don't be naive. You're just an outsider. I could crush you with a single finger. I'm warning you, you'd better be smart. Give in to me, or I can't guarantee I won't do anything to your three daughters!"
Shu Hui felt a chill run down her spine. Cao Gang was a bastard, capable of anything. Chu Yu and Chu Xiang were older and knew to call for help when something happened.
Chu Chu is so young, Cao Gang could easily kidnap her if he carries her on his back. Shu Hui felt heartbroken just thinking about it.
Her heart trembled; she dared not think about it any further.
This person is going too far, repeatedly challenging her bottom line. It's one thing to threaten her and bully her, but he even wants to extend his evil clutches to her daughter!
Cao Gang crossed a mother's bottom line.
"What do you want to do to my child?" Shu Hui's eyes were red, like a trapped little beast. Even though she was far weaker than the enemy, she struggled with all her might to deliver a fatal blow.
Cao Gang was completely unaware.
He thought Shu Hui was scared, and smugly twirled the keys in his hand, laughing:
"Your three daughters are young and quite beautiful. Do you want me to be their stepfather, or something else? The choice is yours. If you choose wrong, don't blame me, Cao Gang, for being ruthless!"
Although Cao Gang has a bad reputation, he is only a bit of a layabout; he hasn't actually done many bad things.
But in other people's eyes, this kind of scoundrel has some authority when he speaks, especially when he threatens Shu Hui like this, Shu Hui still feels threatened.
She glared at him with reddened eyes. As the sun began to set, images of Cao Gang abusing her flashed through Shu Hui's mind. Cao Gang had scaled the wall to break into her house, Cao Gang had stolen her underwear, and now Cao Gang had brazenly barged into her house, even trying to assault her daughter.
Shu Hui wasn't brave enough, but she was only cowardly to herself. Anyone who touched her daughter was touching her sore spot. As if she had made a decision, Shu Hui turned around and rushed into the kitchen, picked up a watermelon knife for cutting hands and put it behind her back.
She trembled all over, her lips quivered, but she still walked step by step toward Cao Gang.
