Qian Yuanyuan felt that Tang Xiaoqi was a bit strange.
They're good friends with Chuchu, talking about her like that behind her back is really disloyal.
If Tang Xiaoqi can talk about Chu Chu in front of her, what will happen if Chu Chu buys a new dress or rides a new bicycle? Will Tang Xiaoqi then start gossiping about her in front of Chu Chu?
This kind of person is terrifying; Qian Yuanyuan secretly decided to stay away from him.
Chu Chu thought that sharing the good news with her friend would make her happy, but Tang Xiaoqi had a long face all day and ignored her no matter what she said, which made Chu Chu feel very unhappy.
"Yuanyuan, what happened to Tang Xiaoqi? I called her to go eat just now, but she pretended not to see me and dragged someone else to the cafeteria."
Qian Yuanyuan didn't know what to say, "If she ignores you, then just ignore her. The earth will keep turning even without her."
Chu Chu understood the logic, but after arriving in Beijing and spending several months on the film crew, and then attending a private school, she barely knew anyone, only making two friends: Tang Xiaoqi and Qian Yuanyuan.
She cherishes them very much and wants to be with them for the rest of her life.
Tang Xiaoqi ignored her, which made Chu Chu feel particularly uncomfortable.
She didn't want to lose her friends.
After dinner, Chu Chu saw Tang Xiaoqi sitting by the flower bed and went over to her. "Xiaoqi, what's wrong? I called you to the cafeteria earlier, but you ignored me."
Tang Xiaoqi pursed her lips. "Who said I'm ignoring you? I just didn't see you."
"Really? Xiaoqi, you scared me to death! I thought our friendship had been damaged. Since you're alright, let's go home together!"
Tang Xiaoqi nodded, absentmindedly carrying her backpack.
When she left in the morning, her adoptive father beat her up, and Tang Xiaoqi was a little scared and didn't dare to go home.
Chu Chu put her arm around hers and said with a smile, "Where do you live? Shall I take you home?"
Tang Xiaoqi's family home was very poor, without even a floor. Her classmates all came from well-off families, and Tang Xiaoqi didn't want people to know that her family was poor.
She shook her head. "No need. Just drop me off at the alley entrance, I'll walk back myself."
"You don't look well. Are you sure you don't need me to take you?"
Tang Xiaoqi shook her head, then suddenly grabbed Chu Chu's clothes, her face pale as she pleaded:
"Chuchu, why don't you come stay at my place tonight? We can sleep together, just to keep me company, okay?"
Chu Chu was stunned. In all her life, she had never slept at anyone else's house except for her second uncle's house.
She also wanted to sleep with Tang Xiaoqi, to whisper secrets to each other, hug plush toys, and stay up all night like adults.
“I want to go too, but I have to tell my sister first.”
"Your sister? What right does she have to tell you what to do? Chuchu, please, please, have some mercy and stay with me tonight. You can sleep at my house, I'll let you play with my toys, let you read my extracurricular books, and treat you to something delicious. Just stay with me!"
Chu Chu was tempted. She really wanted to spend the night with her friend, but she didn't dare to disobey Chu Yu. Her sister could do anything else, but she couldn't go against the principle of prophecy. Even Chu Xiang couldn't stay out overnight, let alone her.
"I'll go back and ask my sister. If she agrees, I'll come back to you, okay?"
Tang Xiaoqi hesitated, looking fearfully at her home in the alley, before suddenly and violently shaking off Chu Chu's hand.
"Fine, I knew we weren't friends at all! I just asked you to sleep with me, and you made all sorts of excuses. Do you look down on me? Do you think I'm poor and don't want to be friends with me?"
Chu Chu was completely baffled.
That's not what she meant at all.
Tang Xiaoqi glared at her resentfully, then turned and ran into the alley.
Chuchu rode her bike home sadly.
"School's out? Wash your hands and eat."
Chu Chu paused for a moment, then walked up to Chu Yu and asked, "Sister, can I stay at my classmate's house tonight?"
Chu Yu glanced at her. "Going to your classmate's house to stay? Your classmate invited you? Where does she live? What do her parents do? How many people are home at night? Don't blame me for being gossipy, but it's better for girls not to stay at other people's houses. Even if you do, it's best if there are no men at home. If her brothers and father can avoid it and stay somewhere else, then I might agree to let you stay overnight at her house. If not, then I can't agree to let you go."
Chu Yu always made the decisions about family matters, while Shu Hui adopted a laissez-faire approach to her children's education and never placed any demands on her daughter.
Without the constraints of home, the three Chu sisters lived quite happily.
Ke Shuhui really doesn't understand education.
Throughout Chu Chu's life, Chu Yu has always bought her bras and underwear. In Shu Hui's mind, girls don't need to buy underwear until they turn 18.
Chuchu is only 16; it's way too early for her to buy underwear now.
When Chu Yu learned of her mother's thoughts, she was utterly stunned.
Wearing a bra at 18?
At 18, a girl is an adult and has already developed. In the summer, when clothes are so thin, if a young girl doesn't wear a bra, then everything that needs to be seen will be seen by others, and she has no privacy at all.
Chu Yu bought underwear for her younger sister and also gave her some sex education.
She usually gives Chu Chu and Chu Xiang their allowance.
The younger sisters would always consult with Chu Yu directly when they encountered problems.
Chu Yu is knowledgeable and experienced, and can give them advice from her perspective, so they are willing to listen to their older sister.
Chu Yu disagreed, so Chu Chu gave up the idea of spending the night at Tang Xiaoqi's house. Besides, she and Tang Xiaoqi had a disagreement that day, and she wasn't really willing to spend the night at Tang Xiaoqi's house.
"Okay, sis, I'm not going." Chu Chu was quite composed.
Chu Yu pondered that children of this age are in their rebellious phase, and the stricter they are controlled, the more rebellious they will become. However, many children are abused in their early years, and the perpetrators are often their elders, male peers, or friends' fathers or brothers.
