The fact that Brother Dai would actually hug her first made Qiao Shanshan's heart flutter. However, Brother Dai was too impatient tonight. He started touching her inappropriately, even turning her over, pinning her against the wall, and kissing her on the lips.

Qiao Shanshan burst into tears, "How was I supposed to know it was you? I was guarding the door and didn't see anyone leave, so I knew it must be Brother Dai! If it was you inside, then where was Brother Dai? I was guarding outside the whole time!"
Wei Mingyuan had a terrible headache; the pain from the hangover was making his brain twitch. He had forced Dai Donglin to drink a bottle of wine the night before, but Dai Donglin wasn't drunk at all; instead, he had knocked Wei Mingyuan out.
This realization made Wei Mingyuan unable to hold back any longer, and he slapped himself hard across the face!
"How could I do such a terrible thing! I was trying to help Shanshan. I treat Shanshan like a little sister. I was clearly doing a good deed, how did it end up like this! It's all my fault. If I hadn't been drunk, if I hadn't been out of my mind, if I hadn't lost control of myself, how could I have done such a wrong thing!"
Seeing Wei Mingyuan's remorseful expression, Qiao Shanshan felt a pang of pity. Her eyes were filled with tears, and she had no idea what to do.
