Chapter 7 Blind Chu Chu

Chu Yu has never liked the scenario where a top student tutors a struggling student, only to fail to get into university himself. The original owner of this body clearly could have gone to university, but she gave the opportunity to Zhao Hanqiao. She was truly a master of romantic fantasies.

Those who are obsessed with love never end well; netizens are right.

Chu Yu wasn't one to tolerate things easily. She walked up to Xu Yiyi, glanced at her, and sneered:

"You're the one who pushed me into the water?"

Xu Yiyi took a step back, her pale face filled with disbelief. She hadn't expected Chu Yu to say it so bluntly.

She could secretly sabotage Chu Yu behind his back, but she would never dare to play tricks in front of everyone.

Her mother instructed her to maintain a superficial relationship with Uncle Zhou's daughter, and not wanting to ruin her mother's plan, she could only pitifully say:

"Sister, what are you saying? I didn't push you, you fell down on your own!"

Dai Qinxue put her arm around Xu Yiyi's shoulder and looked at Zhou Jian'an, "Jian'an, I know Yiyi's personality. She would never hurt an ant since she was a child. She is definitely not such a vicious person."

Xu Yiyi nestled closer to Dai Qinxue, her eyes fragile and her face pale, like a swaying dodder vine.

The city girl's little princess tried to play the victim, but how could a country man like Zhou Jian'an resist?

He rushed out to protect his eldest daughter like a father would protect his daughter, and reprimanded her without hesitation:

"Zhou Chuyu, what nonsense are you spouting! How could Yiyi, such a delicate and lovely girl, possibly push you? Do you think everyone is as unreasonable as you?"

“Yes, Chu Yu, Yi Yi isn’t that kind of person.” Zhao Hanqiao also stepped out from the crowd.

Chu Yu didn't even glance at him. He's just a scumbag, yet he really thinks he's someone important.

She just smiled at Xu Yiyi, "How could you not have pushed me? You said your mother seduced my father, and you seduced Zhao Hanqiao. You and your mother stole both of our men! You even said my father had been involved with your mother for four years, and that the money my mother used to pay for my father's education was used to buy clothes for your mother! You even hit me with a stick! You said if you killed me in the river, no one would suspect you!"

"You're spouting nonsense!" Xu Yiyi's face turned red with anger, and she blurted out, "I didn't say that, and I didn't hit you with a stick! I just pushed you! It's your own fault for accidentally falling into the river."

As soon as she finished speaking, Xu Yiyi realized what she had said, and she looked at Zhou Jian'an with a pale face.

"Uncle Zhou, I didn't mean to." Two lines of tears rolled down Xu Yiyi's pale face.

Dai Qinxue gestured for her to calm down. Zhou Jian'an was a man who cared a lot about his reputation. He didn't care how his daughter fell into the river, but he would lose face in public and resent his daughter.

Dai Qinxue said softly, "Jian'an, Yiyi is in the wrong. She used to be a very sensible and obedient child who would never hurt others. How come she is like a different person after coming here? I don't know what Chu Yu said to provoke her."

Even Chu Yu had to admire Dai Qinxue's masterful use of the "shifting the blame" tactic. Even though it was clearly Xu Yiyi's fault, she managed to twist the truth and pin the blame on Chu Yu.

No wonder Zhou Jian'an was no match for her.

People in the countryside value their reputation.

Zhou Jian'an, who had been maintaining the airs of a college student, looked grim and extremely unpleasant after his daughter exposed his past.

Encouraged by Dai Qinxue, she glared fiercely at Chu Yu, "No wonder your grandma said you're no good! I really underestimated you. At such a young age, you're already sowing discord and causing chaos in the family!"

The original owner would probably be heartbroken to hear this. Being betrayed by loved ones is a terrible feeling. Not only did her father not protect her, but he also blamed her for being immature because of his mistress's daughter.

Unfortunately, Chu Yu was hard-hearted. Her biological father was far more of a scoundrel than Zhou Jian'an. Having been through countless battles, she naturally knew how to answer in a way that would strike at Zhou Jian'an's weak spot.

Chu Yu laughed instead of getting angry: "Like father, like daughter. My father abandoned his wife and daughter, squandered the money his wife earned from farming, ate, drank and had fun with a vixen, didn't raise his own children but raised someone else's daughter, turned black into white for someone else's daughter, and pinned the blame on his own daughter, single-handedly ruining this family! It's not surprising that I, as his daughter, can also ruin things."

Zhou Jian'an was so angry he almost vomited blood. In his memory, this daughter was not good with words and never talked back when she was beaten or scolded. She was a pushover, just like Shu Hui. Who knew that after a few years, she would become so sharp-tongued and sarcastic, and her words were full of sarcasm about his shamelessness as her father.

It must be said that Zhou Jian'an truly grasped the essence of Chu Yu's words.

Isn't that shameless? If you had any shame, you would abandon your wife and daughter, not raising your own daughter but raising someone else's?

He thought that if he treated Xu Yiyi well, she would take care of him in his old age?

I really don't know what men are thinking.

If Zhou Jian'an wasn't confused, it could only mean that Dai Qinxue's status was higher than Chu Yu imagined, and that Zhou Jian'an could profit from Dai Qinxue, which is why he went to such lengths to divorce her.

Chu Yu didn't give her father a chance to retort; she finished her tirade and left.

"You, you, you..." Zhou Jian'an was furious for a long time, but all he could see was his daughter's round back of the head.

Chu Yu paused slightly as he passed Dai Qinxue, a hint of schadenfreude in his eyes:

"Ms. Dai, who broke up someone else's family, I'll have to trouble you to take care of my younger brother. Although he's a bit of a scoundrel, a big eater, a bit immature, and a bit ungrateful, he's pretty good in other ways. As his stepmother, you mustn't mistreat him! Make sure you raise him to be healthy and plump!"

One sentence made Dai Qinxue's expression change; her lips stiffened, and she almost couldn't smile.
