Shu Hui chuckled, "Don't you believe these things? When I was pregnant, your grandmother had a dream about the baby. I happened to be passing by and thought I'd come and check on you to remind you not to take cold medicine this month, in case you didn't take it seriously."
Chu Yu didn't think she would get pregnant. She and Dai Donglin had been using contraception. She planned to start preparing to have a child after the situation in the South China Sea was resolved and she withdrew her investment from the South China Sea.

The doctor had his own speculation. These days, many girls have children in their early twenties. Chu Yu must have had children before at her age. Some people choose to abort their children because of the family planning policy, but others prefer sons and want to see the doctor to check the sex of the child before having an abortion.
The doctor thought Chu Yu was that kind of person, which is why he asked her.
Chu Yu realized the doctor had misunderstood and quickly explained that she hadn't had children since getting married.
