The doctor had never seen such a composed pregnant woman before, and also found Chu Yu quite interesting. After offering a few words of comfort to Chu Yu, she said:

Shu Hui and Shen Jun also felt sorry for Chu Yu. Their daughter had suffered so much, and they were both upset. Fortunately, Chu Yu's delivery went smoothly. She felt hungry as soon as she came out of the delivery room, so Shen Jun stewed some chicken soup and brought it over. Chu Yu drank two big bowls of soup every day. After finishing the soup, she ate a chicken leg and then lay down to rest.
With her mother and mother-in-law taking care of the children, Chu Yu didn't need to worry about anything. The two children were also easy to care for, as they were emotionally stable from birth, especially the daughter, whose dark eyes darted around the ward, full of curiosity about the world.

“Some people say that children are born with memories of their past lives, but they forget those memories as they grow older,” Shen Jun said with a smile.

The two smiled at each other, and then Zhou Yun brought over the pig's trotter soup. Chu Yu had just eaten it not long ago, but new mothers in their postpartum period just eat and sleep, so the family has to keep food on hand so that they don't run out when they want to eat it.

Zhou Yun is not young anymore, and this is her first time becoming a grandmother. Two babies came at once. Although the babies haven't fully grown yet, and because they are twins, they are quite large, each weighing over five pounds. However, Zhou Yun is experienced and knows how to take care of children. These two babies look like monkeys now, but they definitely won't be ugly in the future.
She was delighted with the sight of it.
The door was pushed open, and Dai Xueyi came over. He stood at the door, worried that it might be inconvenient inside, and waited for Shu Hui to call him before coming in.
When Dai Xueyi saw his grandchildren, his pride was evident.
"The boy looks like his mother, and the girl looks like Donglin. Both children are so good-looking; they will definitely grow up to be outstanding individuals."
