Yuanyuan bit her lip, tears welling up in her eyes. Her leg hurt, it hurt so much she couldn't bear it, but her grandmother wouldn't let her cry out in pain, and her mother didn't care. She was in so much pain that she couldn't walk and could only hop around on one leg.
Seeing that Yuanyuan was walking on one leg, Mother Wei frowned and said:
"You little rascal, if you knock over anything in the house, I'll give you a good beating!"
Qiao Shanshan didn't take it to heart, thinking she was just joking. Just then, Qiao Shanshan was about to take Yuanyuan out. Sometimes when Chu Yu held Zhou Zhou, Duo Duo would get jealous. So Chu Yu could only hold Zhou Zhou a little longer after putting Duo Duo to sleep each time.
It's inevitable that Chu Yu will favor one child over another, but she hopes to love them both equally and spend the same amount of time with them.
As Chu Yu's wealth increased, she thought that if her son inherited the Dai family's connections, her daughter would inherit her company.
