Longcheng carried her to the bed, dried her body and hair, and then dried her hair. Chuchu squinted comfortably, almost falling asleep halfway there, but was woken up by Longcheng.
Long Cheng abstained for a month, but twice was clearly not enough. He was already hot-tempered and afraid that Chu Chu would abandon him, so he tried every means to prove his charm and make Chu Chu unable to leave him.
Chu Chu was indeed quite provoked. Long Cheng kissed her forehead. After losing weight, Chu Chu looked even more pitiful. Actually, why did she need to work so hard? Being a rich young lady, going to the entertainment industry to make a name for herself, would have been enough.
But she was willing to work hard and forge ahead, afraid of bringing shame to her sister.
It's no wonder she thinks that way; having such an outstanding older sister as Chu Yu would put a lot of pressure on anyone.
The next morning, when Chu Chu woke up, it was already bright outside. She glanced at her arm and almost jumped up. "Oh no, I'm late! I have a scene to film this morning!"
Long Cheng, wearing black trousers, came out of the bathroom. "Don't worry, I've asked for leave for you. The director has moved your scene to the afternoon. Go over after you've had lunch."
Chu Chu scratched her head, only then remembering that Long Cheng was the big boss of Hua Lai.
The boss said that taking a day off was no big deal, but Chu Chu was still afraid that others would think she was unprofessional.
"Don't feel pressured. Eat first, then go. It's hot, and you're not in good health. If you don't eat properly, you'll collapse sooner or later. Do you want to go to the hospital for treatment, or do you want to take a day off to rest?"
Chu Chu agreed. It has to be said that Long Cheng is very good at taking care of people. Chu Chu reached out her hand, and Long Cheng picked her up to brush her teeth. He put one arm around Chu Chu and let her sit on his arm. Chu Chu finished brushing her teeth in this position.
He wanted to carry Chu Chu to pee, but Chu Chu refused out of shyness.
Longcheng had breakfast delivered to her room. After brushing her teeth, Chuchu saw the breakfast and her appetite was whetted.
Perhaps it was because Longcheng took good care of her last night, giving her a massage and a bath, and even doing it in the bathtub. Afterwards, Chuchu slept for more than ten hours and felt much better. She even ate a few more bites of breakfast.
"I have a performance this afternoon, so I can't eat too much."
"Eat another egg. Eggs don't make you fat." Long Cheng forked an egg and fed it to Chu Chu. Chu Chu frowned. She disliked eggs, but she didn't want to refuse Long Cheng, so she obediently ate it.
Seeing that she ate more, Long Cheng felt inexplicably relieved.
He felt like he was raising a daughter, or a pet. Fortunately, Chu Chu was indeed beautiful and cute, which gave Long Cheng a great sense of satisfaction.
Chu Chu had a scene to film in the afternoon and needed to go and refuse it early. She was a little reluctant to leave Long Cheng and hugged him, not wanting to go. Seeing that she wasn't heartless, Long Cheng felt a little more at ease, and the irritability of the past month was swept away.
"Shall I come over tonight?" Long Cheng suggested.
Chu Chu's eyes lit up. She actually wanted Long Cheng to come over, but she was afraid that Long Cheng wasn't serious about her. She was a little conflicted. They probably had the same idea, so neither of them called the other.
However, after Chu Chu took the initiative, Long Cheng also took the initiative once.
Chu Chu nodded, "Then bring me something delicious."
"Okay, I'll buy you some good food and come to serve you again tonight. I'll provide free home service."
Chu Chu was happy.
