Chapter 43 Jealousy
Finally, Si Wan washed up in the bathroom of the guest room.
After coming out, she found that she had no clothes to wear, and she couldn't help but scold Yu Jinnian again.
She walked out of the guest room wearing a white bathrobe and was about to dial Wu Nan's number when she was interrupted by a large queue at the door.
Aunt Fen saw Si Wan wake up and ran up happily: "Miss, the clothes and daily necessities that the gentleman customized for you are in the master bedroom."
Master bedroom… Si Wan’s alarm bells rang loudly, and she quickly stopped him: “No need.” She cracked her lips in embarrassment: “Just leave it there for now, let me take a look first.”
"Aunt Fen, where did you go yesterday? Haha, why didn't I see you?" When she saw Aunt Fen, she remembered that Jinyuan had servants.
God! I wish I could change my face.
Yesterday she and Yu Jinnian were in the living room...could Aunt Fen have heard them?
I even want to die.
Aunt Fen returned to Jin Garden early in the morning and saw the island counter in a mess. She could probably guess what had happened.
Holding back a laugh, he said matter-of-factly, "I only have four days off a month, so I took a break yesterday."
"Oh. The benefits are pretty good." Si Wan breathed a sigh of relief.
Aunt Fen smiled and changed the subject: "I'll go see what else is in the refrigerator. My husband specifically asked me to come back for dinner."
"Okay, I'll go take a look at the clothes." Si Wan nodded, then followed Aunt Fen downstairs.
Except for her neck, which was intact, her entire body was covered with kiss marks, meaning she couldn't wear a cool skirt.
Long-sleeved black gauze dress with a slim waist, Chanel bag, and flat sandals.
After changing into this outfit, Si Wan went out.
Before leaving, he went back to Yu Jinnian's bedroom and packed up the things in the bathroom that he couldn't see.
When Si Wan arrived at Muyuan Horse Farm, she was a full hour and forty minutes late.
I thought that the guy named Zhou Bai had left a long time ago, but when Si Wan found table number 6 in the coffee shop, she saw Zhou Bai unbuttoning his collar in annoyance.
Veins bulged on his bronze neck, and he turned his phone screen on and off over and over again.
"Sir, this is the seventh cup of black coffee you ordered." The waiter carefully put down the tray and took a step back because of the man's cold gaze.
Si Wan raised her eyebrows and walked over: "Sorry, I'm late."
Zhou Bai raised his eyes, and with just one glance, his breath stopped in his throat - the woman who had made him wait for ninety minutes was standing in the halo, smiling.
The knee-length black gauze slim dress outlines the breathtaking curves of her waist and hips. Her oval face is framed by peach blossom eyes with slightly upturned corners, making her look like a socialite who walked out of an old Shanghai pictorial.
"Miss Si Wan?" He stood up suddenly, and the chair made a sharp sound as it scraped against the ground.
The woman's eyes flickered as her fingertips lightly brushed the thin belt around her waist. "I'm sorry to have kept you waiting, Mr. Zhou."
The ending sounded artificially soft, but to Zhou Bai it sounded like a captivating tune.
"No, I just arrived too." Zhou Bai denied it flatly, but he was thinking in his heart: Will this bring him face in his circle?
Ten minutes later, the two stood at the edge of the horse farm. Zhou Bai looked at Si Wan's hesitant back, his Adam's apple rolling.
The hem of her long skirt was blown up by the evening breeze, revealing the well-proportioned muscles of her calves.
"Actually, I'm not very good at riding a horse..." Si Wan lowered her eyelashes as she turned around, and her fingers unconsciously stroked the carvings on the saddle.
Zhou Bai was secretly delighted. He stretched out his long arms and encircled her beside the stable: "I'll teach you."
The body temperature burned Si Wan's back through the shirt fabric, and she lowered her eyes to hide the teasing in her eyes.
The black horse carried the two of them slowly forward. Si Wan felt the man's chest pressed against her, and her fingertips gently stroked the horse's mane.
Suddenly, she squeezed the horse's belly with her legs, and the black horse raised its head and neighed and ran out.
"Si Wan!" Zhou Bai exclaimed and hugged her waist tightly, but saw the woman laughing with her head raised, her black hair flying in the wind, and she no longer looked weak at all.
Behind the glass curtain wall of the observation deck, Yu Jinnian crushed the unlit cigar in his hand.
The woman who was enjoying herself under him last night was now leaning in another man's arms with a sweet smile on her face.
"Ha." Anger surged.
"Mr. Zhou's teaching method is truly unique."
The deep voice startled the magpies in the trees. Zhou Bai looked up and saw a man in a custom-made suit standing against the light, his leather shoes making a heart-pounding sound as they stomped on the ground.
Si Wan's whole body froze, and the man's low moan of "Wanwan" in her ear last night seemed to still echo.
She turned her head stiffly and met Yu Jinnian's sinister gaze, and cold sweat instantly broke out on her back.
"Yu Jinnian..." She had just opened her mouth when the man grabbed her arm and dragged her off the horse. Zhou Bai tried to stop him, but the man's cold gaze held him still.
"Is this how the coaches at Muye Horse Farm teach guests to ride horses?" Yu Jinnian swept a cold gaze over Zhou Bai, and lifted Si Wan up by her hips.
Just like holding a child.
Si Wan was embarrassed and her face flushed.
"Put me down! You're hurting me." Si Wan struggled, but the man pinched her chin and forced her to look at him.
Yu Jinnian leaned close to her ear and said in a low, hoarse voice like a wild animal: "Hurt? That's not what you said last night."
Zhou Bai watched this scene in shock. It was not until the two figures disappeared into the depths of the horse farm that he realized his shirt was soaked with cold sweat.
A woman's suppressed exclamation was heard from afar, mixed with the man's furious growl: "It seems that I didn't work hard enough last night, so you have the energy to seduce a wild man!"
Si Wan was thrown onto the sofa in the lounge, and Yu Jinnian's action of pulling off his tie was full of danger.
She huddled in the corner, watching the man approach step by step, and suddenly laughed out loud: "Boss Yu, are you jealous?"
"Jealous?" Yu Jinnian pinched her waist and said, "I'm just teaching my people a lesson."
His kiss was filled with punishment, but Si Wan was in a good mood and sneered in her heart - Yu Jinnian, you are out of control.
Thunder roared outside the window, and heavy rain poured down. Si Wan looked at the man's taut jawline and suddenly remembered the day she broke off the engagement three years ago.
She looked so pitiful, but the man said, "It was just a joke. What's the difference between retreating and not retreating?"
"Why are you so angry? I can't help it. My mom arranged this blind date for me, you know... I'm a filial son."
Si Wan touched his face and said, "It's a pity that you're on Ms. Gu's blacklist. Otherwise, I wouldn't have to keep playing along, right?"
"Just a casual flirt?" Yu Jinnian sneered, his dark eyes filled with gloom, as if he wanted to drown Si Wan. "If I hadn't happened to see you, would you have just done it?"
Si Wan hunched her shoulders, looking pitiful: "Is this how I am in your eyes?" She tilted her head and miraculously squeezed out two tears.
Yu Jinnian narrowed his eyes. He knew Si Wan was acting, but he couldn't do anything about her. He let go of her and picked her up, holding her in his arms: "Be good. Okay?"
"Mr. Yu is too overbearing." Si Wan muttered softly.
"What did you call me?" The man's hand moved up along her waist.
Si Wan immediately sat up straight, like a dead fish that had been electrocuted: "...Can you please stop being so lustful?"
"I can't help it." The man's voice was like a brush that made Si Wan's earlobes warm.
After rubbing it savagely twice, he chuckled and said, "It should be nice in the car on a rainy day."
*
"Oh my god! It's so windy! How am I going to get home from get off work?"
Two waiters in the cafe stood at the window, looking worriedly at the heavy rain.
"In my opinion, safety comes first. We can't leave rashly even if we have to sleep on the floor.
Look at that Maybach, it's being tossed around by the wind. With our small bodies, we'd probably fly off the handle!"
The two little cuties continued to work after they finished speaking. If they had stayed a little longer, they would have seen a pair of clasped hands pressing against the car window.
I wish I could break through that layer of glass.
