Chapter 51
"Tell me, who ordered you to frame my father even at the cost of your own reputation?"
Si Wan walked in, pulled a chair and sat down, she spoke without a word and acted decisively.
"What's the meaning?"
Before Wang Wenwen could say anything, the old lady became anxious. Anyone with a discerning eye could see that this person had bad intentions.
"Grandma, please go out first. I want to talk to my sister." Wang Wenwen jumped off the wooden bed and hurriedly pulled the old lady out.
It turns out her family doesn’t know yet. Si Wan sneered silently.
Wang Wenwen pulled the old lady out and came back after a long time.
A bare house housed a thin but fair-skinned college student.
Si Wan knew the hardships behind it without having to think about it, but there must be something hateful about a pitiful person.
Not worthy of pity.
"Sister, Professor Si is my mentor. I don't need to harm him. He did something excessive to me, so the frame-up you mentioned is not true."
Wang Wenwen, her name suits her.
He spoke slowly and leisurely, with a soft Wu dialect tone, and showed that he was the kind of person who was easy to bully.
"Oh." Si Wan nodded, not knowing what the meaning was. "Okay, I don't like threats or intimidation. See you in court."
She stared at Wang Wenwen, narrowed her eyes, and suddenly smiled, a smile with an ambiguous meaning.
"Let's go." Si Wan stood up and said to Wu Cong.
Wu Cong's eyes moved and he stopped Si Wan: "Si Jiang, the little girl might have been frightened. We have also controlled Wang Baishi, and Wang Baishi has also confessed that he was ordered by Dai Ke."
Wu Cong paused for a moment, observing Wang Wenwen's reaction out of the corner of his eye.
The little girl was a nobody after all, and she collapsed in panic. Her previous arrogant demeanor disappeared.
He bit his lower lip tightly, his eyes no longer firm.
Wu Cong continued, "Now all we need is the little girl. If she can tell the truth, this matter will be resolved."
"Why are you talking so much nonsense? What's true can't be false, and what's false can't be true. I believe the law will give my father justice."
Si Wan pushed Wu Cong away and walked out the door.
"Hey? Master Chef!" Wu Cong shouted anxiously, but his feet did not move at all.
"Wang Wenwen, right? You know better than anyone what's right and wrong.
Let me tell you a secret, Professor Si is the future father-in-law of Huading Yudong.
If you think you have what it takes to compete with Huading, you can give it a try.
Also, we returned less than four hours after meeting Dong.
Once he intervenes, your fate..."
Wu Cong just said this and then he started to chase after Si Wan.
When the two returned to the car, Si Wan finally smiled and teased Wu Cong: "Your acting is good. It's a pity that you are not an actor."
Wu Cong smiled foolishly: "I've been around Yu Dong for a long time, and I've been influenced by him."
“…” His emotional intelligence is worrying.

Wang Wenwen called Wang Baishi more than twenty times, but no one answered.
"Bang." The phone fell.
She finally believed Wu Cong's words.
After a forty-minute drive, the Maybach arrived at the Si family's house.
But he only stopped for a moment, then stepped on the accelerator and drove away.
"Don't these crazy people sleep?"
The entrance of the Si family's house was surrounded by the media, with at least thirty media outlets stationed there.
If Wu Cong had reacted a little slower, he would have had no chance of driving away today.
Si Wan leaned her head against the window, a look of fatigue on her face, and asked Wu Cong what time it was.
"Ten past five."
"Let's go to the airport. I'll take a nap."
On the second floor of the Si family's house, Si Nian and Si Li stood at the window and watched the Maybach blend into the night.
"Brother, when are we going to take action? The third brother's family can't come back, what are you waiting for?" Si Nian was so anxious that he kept turning around.
"We don't have to do anything. Now the only way to protect our father is to remain silent. The rest is up to the third brother."
When the incident happened, Si Li received a call from Si Wan immediately, with only two words: "Trust me, leave it to me. Comfort your mother."
Si Li couldn't express it. He couldn't express how much he believed in Si Wan.
The international airport was immersed in dark gray in the early morning, and the moonlight leaking through the glass dome dyed the tarmac silver-gray.
The hem of Yu Jinnian's black windbreaker swept across the reflection on the ground, as if cutting a crack in the thick night.
At the end of the private helipad's airbridge, Si Wan curled up in the back seat of the car, her fingertips unconsciously stroking the ice flowers on the car window - that was the frost condensed from her repeated breath.
She was looking up at the stars in the night sky when the sound of the engine exploded in the silence.
When the tall figure emerged from the turning point of the gangway, Si Wan suddenly heard her own violent heartbeat shattering the air inside the car.
The man walked quickly. The ground lights in the airport cast shadows on his brows, but they could not hide the blazing light in his eyes.
Tears welled up without warning, and she frantically wiped them away with her sleeve. She was stunned for a moment, but when she saw the other person quicken his pace, she laughed out loud.
The moment the car door was opened, a coat with the chill of night dew wrapped around her. Yu Jinnian pressed his palm hard on the back of her neck, his breathing close to her ear: "Are you crying?"
The vibration of the man's chest could be heard through his shirt when he spoke, and Si Wan buried her face in his shirt, which was stained with morning dew.
But I heard a low, hoarse sigh from above my head: "What a success! I thought you were so amazing."
The carved iron gate of Jin Garden quietly opened amid the sound of the engine, and the gilded lanterns glowed with a warm yellow halo in the morning mist.
Amid the rustling sound of the Maybach rolling over the bluestone road, Yu Jinnian had already unbuckled his seat belt and leaned over.
Before Si Wan could react, her waist was suddenly lifted up into the air. The man's suit sleeve brushed against her exposed ankle, and his palm, with his body temperature, pressed against her buttocks through the denim fabric.
"Thank you, I'm a little tired..." She murmured, clinging to his shoulders, her fingertips sinking into the fabric of the well-tailored windbreaker.
Yu Jinnian held her in one hand and held a black packaging bag in the other. A corner of dark blue velvet peeked out of the bag - it was a classic Tiffany gift box.
The morning mist wet the ends of Si Wan's hair, condensed into tiny water droplets on her forehead, and fell into his eyes as he gazed at her.
The palace lanterns at the entrance lit up one after another, illuminating the tense lines of the man's jaw.
Yu Jinnian's leather shoes knocked on the white marble steps, each step carrying unquestionable force, until she was gently placed on the bed in the bedroom.
"Have you eaten?" the man's voice was gentle.
"Where do I have the time?" If Yu Jinnian hadn't asked, Si Wan would have almost forgotten that there was such a thing as eating in the human world.
"Bo." A loving kiss landed on his forehead. Yu Jinnian took off his coat and smiled, "Be good, get some sleep first. I'll call you later."
Late at night, the kitchen of Jinyuan was filled with celadon moonlight. Yu Jinnian stood in front of the cooking counter with his shirt sleeves rolled up, and the famous watch on his wrist reflected a cold light.
The snow fungus soup in the enamel pot was bubbling, and when he stirred it with a bamboo spoon, the steam formed a circle of white mist on the glass.
"Not sleeping anymore?" He said without turning his head, but his voice was very soft.
Si Wan came down at some point and leaned against the door frame, watching his back, cast a long shadow by the ceiling light, and the ends of his hair on the back of his neck still damp from the night wind.
The man turned around and took the shredded ginger from the chopping board.
She walked over barefoot, and the coldness of the floor rose from the soles of her feet, but was suddenly warmed by Yu Jinnian's hand that supported her waist.
"Why aren't you wearing shoes?" He placed her on a high stool next to the kitchen counter. In the celadon bowl was crab meat porridge fresh from the pot. The rice grains shone with a pearly luster under the warm yellow light.
A drizzle was falling outside the window. Yu Jinnian handed the silver spoon to her lips, and the sweet fragrance of snow fungus soup still lingered on his fingertips.
Si Wan held the soft porridge in her mouth and suddenly remembered that he seemed to have fed her porridge when she was six years old.
