Chapter 140: Psycho
The girl stared at the pen in her hand, her fingers unconsciously pressing down hard, as if trying to uncover the secret hidden behind the pen.
A sudden tingling sensation brought her back to her senses.
The girl looked down at her hand and discovered that her finger had been pierced by the tip of the pen and blood was slowly oozing out.
She couldn't help but frown, a trace of doubt arose in her heart.
"When was it released?" At this moment, a deep male voice suddenly sounded in her ears, breaking her thoughts.
The girl looked up and saw the boy looking at her seriously with a questioning look in his eyes.
"I don't know." The girl answered in a panic. Her voice trembled slightly, revealing her inner uneasiness.
She lowered her head, continued to frown and think, trying to recall when the pen appeared in her hand.
"Has he discovered me a long time ago?" the girl murmured to herself, her voice so soft that only she could hear it.
This thought kept circling in her mind, making her feel heavier.
Just as both of them were lost in thought, a slight engine sound caught their attention.
They turned their heads at the same time and saw a black car slowly stopping beside them.
The car window slowly lowered, revealing a familiar face - Lin Feng.
Lin Feng leaned against the car window with a bright smile on his face, revealing a row of white teeth.
He rested his chin on the back of his hand, his eyes twinkling with amusement, staring straight at the girl and the boy.
"Holle!" Lin Feng waved to them with a smile on his face, his voice full of enthusiasm, as if they were good friends who had known each other for a long time.
Seeing this, the girl in the car felt her heart tighten and she glanced at the boy next to her in panic.
The boy seemed to notice the girl's uneasiness, and he nodded slightly to tell the girl not to worry.
The girl calmed herself down, coughed lightly, then slowly lowered the car window and looked at Lin Feng. She asked in a somewhat stiff tone, "What?"
Seeing this, Lin Feng's smile grew even brighter. He replied with a smile, "No, I just wanted to ask you if you still want to go home with me."
The girl's face turned ugly in an instant. She gritted her teeth and clenched her hands into fists unconsciously, as if she was trying hard to control her inner emotions.
After a moment of silence, she finally squeezed out three words from between her teeth: "No need."
Lin Feng didn't seem surprised by the girl's reaction. He still had a smile on his face. He just tilted his head slightly, looked into the car, and said, "Then I'm leaving. Won't the gentleman inside meet me?"
The girl's patience finally reached its limit, and she roared angrily: "Who are you? Who wants to meet you..."
However, before she could finish her words, Lin Feng suddenly stepped on the accelerator, and the car sped away like an arrow, leaving behind only a series of harsh engine roars.
"What a psycho!" The girl yelled angrily in the direction where Lin Feng was leaving. She slammed her hand hard on the car window, making a loud "bang" sound.
However, due to the rebound force of the car window, her hand retracted in pain. While rubbing her injured hand, she stared at the direction where Lin Feng disappeared with resentment on her face.

Lin Feng picked up the phone expressionlessly and dialed Shen Yunche's number skillfully.
Shen Yunche's voice soon came from the other end of the phone: "Hello, what are you doing?"
Shen Yunche seemed to be blowing his hair, and the sound was a little vague.

Seeing that he stopped asking questions, Wen Wanning continued to walk towards the door.
Just as she reached out to hold the door handle, Lin Feng's voice came again, this time softer than before: "Thank you."
Wen Wanning's body suddenly stiffened, as if it was frozen.
Her hand stopped on the door handle and did not move any further, but her heart was churning.
He didn't look back, nor did he respond to Lin Feng's words. He just stood there quietly.
After a long while, she seemed to come to her senses, slowly opened the door, and then walked away quickly, as if something terrible was chasing her.
Lin Feng's gaze followed Wen Wanning's figure until she closed the door and completely disappeared from his sight. He then slowly withdrew his gaze and the room suddenly fell into silence.
