Chapter 56: Ruan is still pretty

When Erjiu came back carrying A'ruan, Wei Min happened to be in the mansion. Seeing her husband, who was fine when he went out, being carried back by someone, she was shocked and quickly put down the book in her hand and strode out to greet him.

Wei Min didn't know where A'ruan was injured, so he could only reach out and carefully take him from Erjiu's back, carrying him sideways back into the house. As he walked, he asked in a deep voice, "What happened?"

A Ruan put her arms around Wei Min's neck, afraid that she would worry, and shook her head to indicate that she was fine.

Wei Min had long legs and big steps, so Erjiu had to jog to keep up with her. When she heard the adults asking questions, she immediately told them what happened today.

Wei Min frowned slightly, bent down and gently placed A'ruan on the bed, then sat on the edge of the bed and took off his shoes and socks.

Wei Min gathered up A Ruan's shirt and pushed it to his thighs, and saw some red bloodstains seeping out of his originally snow-white underwear at the knees.

Wei Min was so distressed that he paused his movements and silently rolled up A Ruan's underwear to his knees. When he saw that his originally pink and round knees were now purple and red and bleeding, the corners of his mouth were almost pursed into a straight line.

Ah Ruan looked down and thought that his knee looked more serious, but it actually didn't hurt that much. It only hurt when I first hit it, but it's gone now.

He has fair skin and easily leaves marks. Not to mention knocking to the ground, even if Wei Min was too strong during their daily playfulness, or if she pinched his waist or thigh when the two of them couldn't help but get passionate, there would be red marks the next day, and in serious cases they would turn purple, making it look like he had been beaten by her.

“How come you got so banged up after just going out…” Wei Min stroked A’ruan’s knee with his fingers, his tone concealing an unnoticeable anger.

Normally, she felt distressed by the marks Wei Min left on A'ruan, let alone the fact that today he really fell to the ground, not only was his mark purple, but it also bled.

Seeing that Wei Min's face was so gloomy that water could drip out of it, Ah Ruan was afraid that she would turn around and blame Erjiu and Shiba, so she smiled and raised her hand to gently hold her face, then put her lips close to the corner of her tightly pursed mouth and pressed them.

——It’s okay, it doesn’t hurt at all, it will go away in two days.

Seeing A Ruan raising his hand to gesture, Wei Min couldn't help but lift his eyelids and glance at him, then put his hand on his waist and said, "Usually I am very strong, and you got red and purple everywhere. The next night you were 'whining' and didn't let me 'hug' you anymore. How come you don't feel any pain today even though you are bleeding?"

Ah Ruan felt guilty and smiled awkwardly. He put his arms around Wei Min's neck, leaned closer to her in a flattering manner, raised his head and pursed his lips again.

He was just tired at night and wanted to go to bed early. The original marks on his body had not disappeared yet, and if she tormented him all night, new marks would appear on top of the old ones. Although it didn't hurt, when he took a shower, he couldn't bear to look at the red and purple teeth marks all over his body.

Wei Min snorted in an ambiguous tone, and Ah Ruan immediately rubbed his forehead against her neck like a quail, twisting the tassels on her belt with his fingers.

This was what Erjiu saw when he came in with the medicine box.

The master leaned on the adult's neck like a little bird, and although the adult had a cold expression, his hands were on the master's waist, protecting him from accidentally falling.

Erjiu's ears turned red as she brought the medicine box over, took out a small porcelain bottle, and asked, "Sir?"

Wei Min patted A'ruan's back, motioning him to sit up straight, and raised his hand to take the medicine bottle from Erjiu, "Let me do it."

Erjiu responded, turned around and walked out, closing the door behind him.

Wei Min took out a clean cotton ball, dipped it in medicine and applied it to A'ruan's knees.

When the slightly cool medicine touched her burning knees, Ah Ruan's legs twitched involuntarily, and her fingers subconsciously grasped Wei Min's arm.

Wei Min's hands trembled immediately, and he paused for a moment before asking him in a low voice, "Does it hurt?"

Ah Ruan let out a slow breath, looked away embarrassedly, and nodded slightly.

——It does hurt a little.

He hasn't had any bumps or bruises in years, but now he's acting more and more like a child, and he's even afraid of pain when applying medicine.

Wei Min leaned forward and kissed A Ruan on the forehead. With silent comfort, he said softly, "Then I'll be gentler."

Ah Ruan felt that these words sounded familiar. He looked at his wife who was standing in front of him with gentle eyes and serious expression, and slowly remembered that she often said these four words at night, and her voice was much lower, hoarse and seductive than it is now.

Thinking of this, Aruan's ears suddenly felt hot without warning, and he ignored the pain in his knee.

After A'ruan applied the medicine, Wei Min asked him to lie down and sleep for a while. He pulled the thin blanket from the bedside and put it on his stomach. He bent down and said to him, "I'll call you when it's time to eat."

Wei Min sat on the edge of the bed and waited until A'ruan fell asleep before he got up, washed his hands and left the room.

Wang Baiyue was brought to Wei's house by Shi Ba. He thought she would ask a doctor to check his ankle, but he didn't expect that she would put him in this empty room and told him to wait, and then she disappeared.

Wang Baiyue raised his hand to pull the bag that was about to slip off his shoulder, looked around the room, and finally remembered that his ankle was injured. He limped to the table and sat down slowly.

It was indeed awkward for him to come to the Wei Mansion with this identity. He didn't look like a savior, but rather someone who was cheating people out of money.

Wang Baiyue's actual name was Biyue. According to his plan, when the wooden stick fell down from the herbal tea shop on the street, A'ruan was unable to react and he just happened to rush over to block the stick for him. Then he pretended to be injured and naturally became Lord Wei's savior and moved into the Wei Mansion.

What Biyue had not expected was that the guards around Aruan were so skilled in martial arts and moved even faster.

Seeing that A'ruan was pulled aside and his plan failed, Bi Yue became anxious. In addition, someone reacted quickly and ran out of the shop that was about to collapse and squeezed him from behind. Bi Yue had almost no hesitation between falling down and pulling A'ruan down with him. He just rushed towards Lord Wei and pretended to sprain his ankle.

Biyue didn't expect that the young servant had such sharp eyes and could tell at a glance that he did it on purpose, so when he questioned her, she lowered her head and said nothing, secretly making gestures to the people she left in the crowd, asking them to speak and lead the public opinion of the onlookers.

Biyue sat in the room waiting for a while, and heard footsteps at the door. Thinking that the doctor had come, she hurriedly pretended to be in pain and bent over to rub her ankle.

Eighteen was guarding in the yard outside the door. Seeing Wei Min walking over while wiping her hands, he quickly walked up to her and whispered something in her ear.

Wei Min's face was as gloomy as water, his eyes were cold and murderous, he raised his hand and handed the handkerchief to Eighteen, sneering: "Looks like A Ruan?"

The door was pushed open from the outside. Bi Yue looked up and saw a woman standing at the door with her back to the light. She immediately guessed that the person might be Wei Min. She immediately lowered her chin without saying a word, revealing half of her gentle profile.

Wei Min looked at him with drooping eyelids, and the frost on his face slowly faded away. He turned around and looked at Eighteen suspiciously, frowned slightly and asked silently: How is he like A Ruan?

This man's eyes are not as big as A'ruan's, his eye corners are not as wide as A'ruan's, his nose bridge is not as straight as A'ruan's, his lip arch is not as pretty as A'ruan's, his earlobes are not as thick as A'ruan's, his skin is poor and his neck is short. In any way can he compare to A'ruan? Not to mention anything else, her husband's hair looked shinier than his.

This guy doesn't look like A Ruan at all.

Wei Min felt disgusted with Bi Yue with just one glance.

Wei Min walked in. Bi Yue straightened her back and raised her head to bow gently. She looked at his face carefully again. Haha, A'ruan's double eyelids were more beautiful than his.
