Chapter 9: A Ruan Protects His Wife

The sun has been shining brightly these past two days, and the Zhang family wants to take advantage of this good weather to move to the county.

But there were too many things at home that they were reluctant to throw away. It happened that Zhang had just paid Zhang Youyao for the county academy. She felt her purse and was reluctant to hire someone to help her move.

He thought about it and finally remembered A Ruan and his poor scholar wife Wei Min.

"Isn't it time for that bitch to come back tomorrow?" Zhang fiddled with the copper coins and silver pieces on the table in front of her, and snorted coldly, "I don't expect him to bring me anything when he comes back, just let his poor scholar wife move into the house for us.

If she couldn't finish the work, she would ask the eldest son of the Wei family to come and help. If they didn't eat lunch, they should be able to finish moving before dark. ”

Boss Zhang thinks this plan is good as it saves both money and effort, but what if Ruan doesn't agree?

Zhang's eyes narrowed when she heard this, and she slapped her hand on the table, saying as a matter of course, "He's rebelling! I've raised him for so many years, and I only got three taels of silver, which is not enough to pay for Youyao's tuition for a year. Why can't I use him to do some work now?"

Zhang was used to ordering A'ruan around, and thought that he would dare not not come, so she asked someone to send a message to A'ruan, asking him to bring his wife back home the next day.

The next day, A'ruan really came, and just as Zhang had guessed, she didn't bring anything with her.

Boss Zhang was a little disappointed. He put his hands in his sleeves and grumbled with a droopy face, "You should bring at least some good and bad things. It's not nice to come here empty-handed."

Zhang sneered, "If that scholar's family was rich, why would he marry a mute? You are the only one who expects him to bring something."

Wei Min had originally planned to return to the academy yesterday afternoon, but because of the message from the Zhang family, she was delayed for a day.

A Ruan was somewhat unhappy about this matter. Just because his daughter Zhang Youyao's studies were important, did that mean his wife was not important?

A Ruan came back with a wooden face, and was stunned when he saw the Zhang couple standing at the door to greet him.

"Aruan is back?" Zhang came over with a smile on her face and said angrily, "Why didn't you inform me in advance? You see, my family is moving and I can't cook for you."

After hearing what Zhang said, Ah Ruan raised his hand expressionlessly:

——Didn’t you let me come back?

Wei Min followed behind A'ruan without saying anything, just watched quietly.

Zhang was embarrassed for a moment, but she gritted her teeth and endured it before she could get angry. She pretended not to see A'ruan's sign language and continued, "Look, my family is busy right now. Why don't you help move the house first? Then we can go to the county and have a good meal to celebrate."

Although Zhang said this to A'ruan, his eyes were looking at Wei Min who was standing behind him.

Ah Ruan's face turned completely cold when he heard this. He stood in front of Wei Min to block Zhang's sight and said unceremoniously:

——My wife’s hands are for holding a pen, not for doing rough work or moving things.

When Zhang saw A'ruan's protective look, her temper flared up, and she couldn't suppress it. "What? I said a few soft words to you and gave you face? I can't order you around anymore? It's just a few cabinets and two beds, others can do it, but you can't?"

Ah Ruan pursed her lips and was unwilling to give in:

——If someone else can do it, then you can find someone else to do it.

Anyway, his wife doesn't want to be a laborer.

A Ruan felt that his wife's palms were dry and warm, and the palms and fingertips were soft, without the calluses on his own hands. It was very comfortable when she held his hand.

It can be seen that the eldest sister never ordered her wife to do rough work at home. How can Zhang have the nerve to order her wife to do things as if it was her right now?

Zhang had never been talked back by A-Ruan before. She was so angry that the flesh on her face was shaking. She raised her hand to slap A-Ruan in the face, "You think you are more capable after getting married, right? I wonder how long Qiongxiu can protect you. When the novelty wears off, you will cry!"

A Ruan pursed her lips and glared at him, her expression obviously not looking very good either.

Zhang raised his hand and A'ruan didn't dodge. If he hit him again, he would fight back.

Regardless of what happened today, and regardless of what will happen between him and his wife in the future, he has long lost his place in the Zhang family. Even if he kneels down and licks Zhang's ass today, the Zhang family will still not acknowledge him as a mute adopted son.

Zhang's slap did not land on A'ruan's face in the end, but was stopped by Wei Min, whose hands were faster.

A'ruan's movements were very fast when she was gesturing to Zhang, and Wei Min couldn't understand them at all, but from Zhang's words he could guess that A'ruan was defending her.

Wei Min's good mood had just shown on his face when he saw Zhang was about to raise her hand to hit someone because of a disagreement.

Zhang used all her strength in this slap, and her body even dodged when Wei Min blocked it. It is obvious that if she had really slapped A'ruan in the face, half of his face would have been swollen.

Wei Min pinched Zhang's wrist through her sleeve and said, "I don't know how long I can protect my husband. After all, life, old age, sickness and death are not things I can decide. But at least for now, I won't allow anyone to hit him in front of me."

Ah Ruan was startled when she heard this, and a sweet feeling slowly emerged in her heart because of this sentence. She quietly lowered her head to cover her blushing face.

This little man's behavior was completely different from the way he stood in front of Wei Min and argued with Zhang just now.

Zhang gritted her teeth and moved her wrist. How could a man like him compare in strength to the young and powerful Wei Min?

Zhang rolled her eyes, and immediately lifted her thigh with her other free hand, opening her mouth to howl, "Someone come, someone is being beaten."

Zhang Da was the first to rush over when he heard the noise. After seeing the situation clearly, he immediately pointed at Wei Min. However, he lacked the energy and could not help but stutter, "What are you doing? Let go!"

Wei Min frowned and let go of her hand, obviously not expecting Zhang to do this.

Zhang sat down on the ground and began to cry and curse, saying that A'ruan was a heartless and ungrateful person, and that Wei Min bullied him and wanted to beat him when he was powerless.

As he spoke, he picked up some rubble from the ground and threw it at Wei Min.

Wei Min was afraid that Zhang would hurt A'ruan, so he moved him behind him to protect him, and the two of them stood where Zhang could not reach them.

The neighbors heard the noise and came out to see. No one spoke for Zhang. They just wanted to watch him make a scene.

Being used to being praised by others on weekdays, he didn't expect that now no one would stand on his side. Zhang was so angry that his face turned purple. He stood up and cursed these people for being envious of him for moving to the county. They deserved to be poor all their lives!

Neighbors ignored Zhang and urged A'ruan to go back. "Why did you come back after you got married? Don't you know what kind of person he is? What good can come from asking you to come back?"

"That's right. Look at the things in the yard, they're all waiting to be moved. If you come to help, Zhang might not even be willing to rent a donkey, and just treat you like an animal."

A'ruan understood what they said, but Zhang asked someone to pass on the message. If he didn't come back, Zhang might go to Qinghe Village to make trouble and make a fool of the Wei family.

He had not originally planned to have his wife come with him today, but she was worried about him.

Since there is no affection between us anymore, it is better to break up cleanly today.

After saying goodbye to their neighbors, A Ruan and Wei Min went back again.

On the way, A Ruan raised her hand and gestured to Wei Min to say sorry for making her suffer with him.

Wei Min smiled and took his gesturing hand, holding it in his palm, and said softly: "I know you defended me today."

He stood in front of her with his thin body, protecting her without any retreat.

The warmth of Wei Min's palm was transmitted to A'ruan through their interlocked fingers. He tilted his head to look at his profile and said softly, "If you protect me once today, how about I protect you for the rest of my life?"

A'ruan's long eyelashes trembled slightly. She was too embarrassed to look back at Wei Min, but she could feel her gaze on her face. Her face turned red, and when she nodded, she almost buried her head in her chest, feeling extremely embarrassed.

The warmth of his palm traveled all the way to A'ruan's heart, slowly warming his heart that had been cold for fifteen years.

A Ruan stole a glance at Wei Min's profile, and when she saw that she wasn't noticing, she looked at him several more times. The smile on the corner of his mouth was like a calm lake brushed by the spring breeze, with waves after waves that could hardly stop.

Wei Min lowered her eyes, pretending not to notice her husband's little action, and walked back home leisurely holding his hand.

The atmosphere between the two has been very good since they came back from Zhang's house. Wei Min had planned to go back to the academy this afternoon, but when she saw her husband's face, she couldn't bear to leave.

After dinner, the two blew out the lights and lay down on the bed, but neither of them fell asleep, as if they were waiting for something.

Wei Min came over, hugged A'ruan from behind, buried his face in his shoulder, and kissed his shoulder gently through his shirt. His voice was a little hoarse with lust, and he asked him in a low voice, "A'ruan, can I have you?"

"Aruan, I want you."

Ah Ruan didn't know if it was because of Wei Min's words or because of the low voice when she said this, but her body went limp and she couldn't say a word of no.

Wei Min's breath was getting hotter and hotter behind him. His nose was pressed against his exposed neck and he kept asking him, "Is it okay? Is it okay?"

A Ruan's body trembled slightly when she rubbed against him, and he nodded with a red face.

Wei Min felt A'ruan's permission, so he stretched out his long legs under the quilt, straddled him, reached out and tapped his shoulders lightly, and turned him over face up.

Wei Min had excellent vision and could see the general outline of A'ruan's face. He used his lips to carefully trace it and kissed it one by one.

The light-colored lips were softer than he had imagined. Wei Min gently pursed the corners of A Ruan's lips, rubbing his nose against his and blending their breaths.

Gradually, Wei Min was no longer satisfied with simple touching, but stretched out his tongue to lick A Ruan's lips. The tip of his tongue probed into the gap between his lips, rolled up his upper lip and sucked it.

Ah Ruan's body trembled slightly, and her fingers clenched Wei Min's shirt at the waist.

“Does it hurt?” Wei Min asked him in a low voice, and then licked him soothingly, “What about this?”

Ah Ruan blushed when she asked this question, her toes curled up together, and she shook her head slightly.

Wei Min held the side of his face with one hand so that he could feel what he meant. When he saw him shaking his head, he couldn't help but chuckle. He stroked the artery on his neck with his thumb and bent his head to kiss him.

This action gave A Ruan a dangerous feeling, but when Wei Min's passionate kiss fell like raindrops, he forgot everything and could only respond passively.

It was the first time Wei Min kissed someone, and also the first time she felt that A Ruan’s tongue was so soft and smooth, which made her want to suck it non-stop.

Wei Min placed his palm on A Ruan's slender waist, moving it all the way up, stopping at his ribs, and touched them several times with heartache.

Ah Ruan still remembered Wei Min saying that he was thin in the morning. Now that she was touching him like this, he shrank back a little uncomfortably.

Wei Min untied the belt of the middle garment, and the collar slid down the chest to the sides of the body. Wei Min's lips slid down A Ruan's slender neck, lingered on the delicate and concave collarbone for a while, and couldn't help but suck it.

The place where her lips touched felt a little stinging. A Ruan gently placed her hand on Wei Min's shoulder, not knowing whether to push her away or hold her in her arms.

Wei Min felt his movements, and gently touched the place where he had bitten her, and said distressedly: "I hurt you."

Her voice was tinged with self-blame and guilt, and hoarse with lust, like fine sand slipping through her fingers, and it sounded extremely seductive.

Ah Ruan's scalp tingled after hearing this, and he curled up his toes and shook his head.

Wei Min kissed him on the lips soothingly before reaching out to unbutton his underwear.

It was early spring and the two of them were still covered with thick quilts. Even at this time, Wei Min did not lift the quilt, for fear that A'ruan would catch a cold.

But now, Aruan's body was covered with a layer of sweat.

Wei Min's clothes were torn into a mess by the distracted A'ruan, so he had to take them off by himself.

The two naked bodies pressed together made the heat unbearable.

Wei Min's fingers touched A'ruan's half-hard penis, and she put her palm on it and gently stroked it twice. A'ruan, stimulated, grabbed her shoulders and raised his head to hum softly.

A tone he had never heard before escaped from his throat.

It was the first time that Ah Ruan realized that such an embarrassing sound could come out of her throat, which was originally unable to speak.

When Wei Min heard his voice, he couldn't help but speed up his movements. He pressed his chest against his flat chest and rubbed it. He lowered his voice and breathed into his ear with a hint of smile, "Aruan's voice is really nice."

Half of Aruan's body felt limp. He was a little thin-skinned and couldn't stand his wife touching him and talking to him in such an improper tone. He turned his head and found Wei Min's lips to stop her from speaking.

Wei Min raised his eyebrows. This was the first time that A'ruan was so proactive. Just now he was as shy as a shrimp. As soon as her hand touched his private parts, he couldn't help but curl up into a ball. It was only after she coaxed him that he was willing to relax himself.

It was the first time for Wei Min, and also for A'ruan. There was no fancy foreplay or touching between the two of them, only the urge to relieve themselves.

After little A'ruan stood up tremblingly in Wei Min's hands, Wei Min lowered his head and kissed A'ruan's lips, slowly taking him into his body.

When he just entered, A Ruan couldn't help but frowning into a lump, half-closed his eyes, and nervously hugged Wei Min's neck with his hands.

“Don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid.” Wei Min gently kissed his forehead, his eyebrows, eyes and mouth, touched his sweaty temples, and said in a hoarse voice: “If it hurts too much, I won’t do it.”

Ah Ruan exhaled softly and opened his eyes slightly. In the moonlit night, he saw his wife's distressed eyes, and his heart suddenly felt warm and filled with emotion.

A Ruan shook her head and touched Wei Min's face again and again, as if to confirm that the person on her was her.

After A'ruan got used to it, Wei Min moved gently, hugged the person in his arms, and performed the most primitive rhythm over and over again.

It was the first time for both of them, and they were stumbling along. The physical pleasure was far less than the pleasure they felt in each other's hearts.

After several intimate contacts, Wei Min couldn't let go of A'ruan, who was marked with her unique mark, and kissed his lips again and again, as if no amount of kissing was enough.
