"Scream, scream as hard as you can. Even if you scream your throat out, do you think anyone will come to save you?" The man was evil and arrogant. "By the time they find you, you'll be mine. By then, I wonder how you'll be able to face others with your face. Oh, and your partner too. Your body is not clean anymore. Do you think he'll still want you?"
Tao Wenwen thought the voice was familiar, but she couldn't remember who it was. She spat, "You coward who dares to do something but not take responsibility for it. Let me see who you are. I'll be too embarrassed to face anyone after I see you!"
In the man's eyes, everything Tao Wenwen did was a desperate struggle. He certainly didn't think that a cooked duck would run away. He was very confident that Tao Wenwen would be his tonight, so after Tao Wenwen's words, he simply turned her over and still controlled her hands and feet.
"Do you still recognize me, Sister Wenwen?" the man sneered.
"It's you!" Tao Wenwen recognized him at a glance. He was the son of the previous B&B owner. No wonder his voice sounded familiar.
The man was very proud. "So Sister Wenwen still remembers me. I'm so happy. Don't worry, I will be gentle when we start!"
The light from the fallen flashlight shone on the two of them. Tao Wenwen suddenly glanced behind him and smiled. "You've gone to great lengths to follow me here. But are you sure you can get what you want?"
The man said, "It's just that you're so beautiful that people want to destroy you. To be honest, seeing you so beautiful makes my heart flutter, but I know myself that someone like you wouldn't be able to like someone like me. But it's different for him. You can't even look down on such an outstanding person. That's your fault!"
"Him?" Tao Wenwen narrowed his eyes and quickly realized, "Who instructed you to do this?!"
"Taking money for a job is the norm. Are you trying to make me break it?" the man said. "Sister Wenwen, please don't embarrass me. Let me enjoy myself for once. When I feel better, maybe I'll tell you who it is."
"If you don't tell me, you think I can't guess?" Tao Wenwen sneered and pointed at the man's back, "You'd better look back."
The man thought she was trying to divert his attention and said smugly, "Do you think I'll fall for it?"
"Haven't you been fooled?" Tao Wenwen's eyes suddenly became strange.
The man was stunned. Before he could react to the meaning in her eyes, Tao Wenwen's knees suddenly bent and pushed upward with all her strength. The man screamed like a pig being slaughtered.
What was even worse was that just as he started to scream, he was hit on the back of the head with a club, and the sound was immediately cut off. He fell to the ground with a thud and lost consciousness.
Tao Wenwen got up from the ground. The man who knocked the man unconscious threw away his stick and came over to help her up. "Are you okay?"
The flashlight shone on him, and Tao Wenwen finally saw his face clearly. It turned out to be one of the men who negotiated the contract today, named Mu Tianxin.
"It's you!" Tao Wenwen asked in surprise, "Why are you here so late at night?"
Mu Tianxin recognized Tao Wenwen early in the morning, and his expression was somewhat relieved. However, facing such a thing, he was still frightened. "My home is nearby. It's you, the one I want to ask you, how could a girl like you be out here so late at night?"
"Gao Yue was drunk and it wasn't safe to drive, so I found a B&B nearby. He was having vomiting and diarrhea because of the unfamiliar climate, so I thought I'd find some herbs to boil for him, but I never thought I'd run into something like this." Tao Wenwen finished, thanking him again, "Thank you for saving me!"
"Why thank you? We're all friends. Thank you is too polite." Mu Tianxin picked up the flashlight on the ground. The light illuminated her face even more. He said in surprise, "Oh, your face is injured!"
Tao Wenwen felt a stinging pain on her face. She pressed the wound lightly and immediately gasped.
"You're seriously injured. You're bleeding and covered in dirt. You need to treat the wound quickly to prevent infection and disfigurement!" Mu Tianxin said. "Well, I'll take you home. Which B&B are you staying at?"
Tao Wenwen looked at the man who had fainted on the ground. Mu Tianxin thought she was going to refuse, so he hurriedly said, "You're a girl. What if you run into bad guys again? It's safer for me to take you back."
"I'm really sorry to trouble you to help me." Tao Wenwen said, "Please help me move him back."
"What do you want to do?" Mu Tianxin asked. Just as he was about to bend over and carry him away, the man suddenly woke up.
Tao Wenwen calmly stepped on the man's vitals. The man's face was distorted with pain, and he fainted before he could even utter a sound.
Mu Tianxin squeezed his legs together and felt the pain. If he was kicked like that, he would probably become a eunuch for the rest of his life, right?
Tao Wenwen told her the address of the B&B. Mu Tianxin looked at her in surprise and asked, "Where are you staying?"
"What's wrong?" Tao Wenwen thought there was something wrong with the B&B.
After all, the man she was carrying now was the son of the owner of the B&B arranged by Gu Ren and Qu Jianan, and she was really afraid that there would be problems with the B&B again.
Gao Yue was still alone in the room. He was like a weak chicken now. If he was targeted again, he wouldn't be able to fight back!

"If I had known you hadn't found a good place yet, I would have brought you back directly." Mu Tianxin said, "I was just taking a walk to digest my food, and then I saw this man sneaking around. I got suspicious and secretly followed him. I didn't expect he was here to deal with you!"
Mu Tianxin had also heard some of the man's arrogant words and said, "Did you run into some bad guys? This kind of thing needs to be resolved quickly to avoid any more trouble."
"Well, we'll solve it as soon as we get back!" said Tao Wenwen.
The two chatted as they returned to the B&B. Mu Tianxin was worried about causing panic, so he carried the man to the backyard.
Mu Tianxin's mother is Chen Guanxin, a middle-aged woman with a cute appearance. She was shocked when she saw Mu Tianxin throwing the man to the ground like a dead pig.
"You, what are you doing!" Chen Guanxin thought he had done something wrong. His eyes were red and he was about to cry. His voice was trembling.
Mu Tianxin said, "Mom, she's still alive, just fainted."
He recounted what had happened and said to Tao Wenwen, "Where is our medicine box? Wenwen is injured. Let me help clean her wound."
"Sure, sure!" Chen Guanxin turned around and called out to Mu Cang, "Honey, hurry up and get the medicine box from our room!"
