Bumbutai was so angry that she stopped talking about "I" and just said "my name"!

But seeing Kangxi kneeling on the ground in such a sorry state, she couldn't bear it. After all, it was just a few words. She wanted to hear what kind of heartfelt words the Aisin Gioro man could say.
Seeing that the Empress Dowager did not refute him, Kangxi knew that she agreed to listen to him, and quickly said, "Grandmother, do you know that Harigana originally did not want to enter the palace? It was Xuan Ye who forced her to enter the palace!"

Apart from Harigana, there is no one he likes or wants!
"Grandmother, Xuan Ye is well aware of the affairs of the inner palace. Since you are not feeling well today, please do not worry about them!"
Kangxi didn't want to say anything harsh, as the Empress Dowager was still in bed and he needed to consider her health.
"Xuan Ye! If you truly knew the truth, you wouldn't be so devoted to a woman from the Borchijin tribe!"
"Royal Grandmother!"
Kangxi stood up and sat down beside the Empress Dowager's bed. Looking at her pale face, he felt immense heartache, but still said, "I am the emperor, and the world is now in my hands. Can't I even pamper a woman? What use am I as emperor then?"
The Empress Dowager looked at Kangxi in disbelief; this wasn't the first time she'd heard those words.

Under the moonlight, Kangxi's figure appeared extremely thin and lonely. Li Dequan, whom he had left with Harigana, could no longer even vent his anger by cursing someone!
