Chapter 439 Profound Blessings

Harigana was sweating profusely, shaking his head and muttering something unintelligible to Kangxi, who had to wake him up.

But after calling her for a long time, she showed no sign of waking up.

"Jiaojiao, Li Dequan, go call Tai,"

"don't want!"

Before Kangxi could finish saying the words "Imperial Physician," Harigana growled "No!" and then woke up.

"Jiaojiao".

He picked her up and placed her on his lap, looking at her pale face with some worry.

"Xuan Ye, stop the car! Stop it now! We can't go any further!"

Harigana grabbed Kangxi by the collar, his face full of anxiety.

"Li Dequan, rest where you are."

Emperor Kangxi was unaware of what had happened, but without asking the reason, he issued orders to the people outside.

"Yes, this servant will go right away."

Li Dequan was shocked. He had heard what the Emperor and Empress had just said, especially the phrase "don't," which he had misinterpreted.

However, it seems that things are not as he thought.

Prince Kang and the others were very puzzled, wondering what had happened. They had only been traveling for less than half an hour when they stopped to rest, so something must have happened.

"Jiaojiao, are you feeling unwell? Should we call the imperial physician to take a look?"

Kangxi's current concern is not why they cannot advance, but rather Harigana's health.

Her face was so pale, it was almost bloodless.

"Xuan Ye, I was dreaming."

The carriage stopped moving, and Harigana breathed a sigh of relief.

She instantly slumped against Kangxi, clutching his clothes: "I dreamt it was raining, a heavy rain, and I couldn't see anything."

The road was so muddy that the carriage couldn't move forward at all. Just as you were about to suggest resting, a flash flood struck, and we...we were all swept away.

She didn't see what happened next; Kangxi woke her up.

Her dream felt so real that she was a little scared.

"Jiaojiao, tell me first, are you feeling unwell? I'll have the imperial physician come and take a look at you, okay?"

Kangxi did not doubt Harigana's words: "Good boy, after the imperial physician has finished examining you, I will call the Imperial Observatory over, okay?"

"No need to call the imperial physician, I'm really fine, a glass of water will do."

She was just having a dream. She was a little scared, and although she felt weak, there was no need to call the imperial physician.

Upon hearing that she wanted to drink water, Kangxi immediately poured her a cup: "Drink slowly."

Actually, Harigana didn't like the Imperial Observatory official. When he first saw her, he felt like he could see right through her.

But given the current situation, she has no choice but to meet him.

"Your name is Imperial Observatory, right? Perhaps I was just having a nightmare?"

"Jiaojiao, I trust your intuition."

Actually, he was also a little scared. If he really encountered a flash flood, no one could guarantee that he would be safe.

Moreover, his beloved daughter is his lucky star. She has saved him from countless disasters and helped him catch numerous corrupt officials over the years, and he knows this very well.

Seeing that a trace of color had returned to her face, he then instructed Li Dequan to summon the Imperial Observatory.

When the Imperial Astronomical Observatory heard Kangxi summoning someone, it sighed, "He is indeed a blessed man."

"This servant greets Your Majesty and pays respects to Her Majesty the Empress."

Harigana leaned back to one side, and the moment he saw the Imperial Observatory, he still felt uneasy.

Fortunately, Emperor Kangxi was there, so she wasn't too nervous.

"Get up."

Kangxi woke the man up and told him about the dream he had just had in Harigana.

I thought the Imperial Observatory would do some calculations, but not only did they not, they even nodded and said, "Your Majesty, the Empress is blessed with great fortune. What the Empress dreamed about is something you will encounter in the future."

After finishing speaking, the Imperial Astronomical Bureau official knelt down and continued, "This servant had foreseen that we might encounter misfortune on this trip, but I couldn't predict what it would be."

However, the divination revealed that your life is not in danger, and the divination indicated that I must absolutely not warn you, otherwise the misfortune will multiply.

Emperor Kangxi was startled. Although the Imperial Astronomical Bureau had assured him that his life was not in danger, he was still somewhat afraid.

No one is unafraid of death, especially an emperor like him.

Most importantly, his wife and children were among the group, which made him even more worried.

"And now?"

Kangxi did not ask any further questions. Since the divination indicated that no clue could be given, asking would not necessarily yield an answer.

"Your Majesty, let's set up camp here. This servant will check the celestial phenomena tonight."

Now that Her Majesty the Empress has seen through it, this servant's calculations should be fine.

After finishing his speech, the Imperial Astronomical Bureau officer glanced at Harigana, then lowered his head and remained silent.

"Won't that harm the Empress's health?"

This is a secret of heaven that even the Imperial Observatory cannot reveal. Now that his beloved has dreamt of it, does this count as revealing a heavenly secret, and could it harm her health?

"Your Majesty, please rest assured, Her Majesty the Empress will be weak for a few days, but there is no danger to her life, nor will it affect her lifespan."

Harigana said that she has been feeling weak and lacking energy lately.

But why would she dream about these things?

When she first started dating Emperor Kangxi, she would faint in a white, misty place, but she never fainted again and never encountered that situation again.

Is there any connection between all of this?

"You can go down now."

Kangxi was filled with guilt; his beloved daughter was always upset because of him.

He had previously blocked the brown bear's attack, and now the dream had saved his life.

"Jiaojiao".

After the Imperial Astronomical Bureau left, Kangxi picked the person up and placed them on his lap, his eyes filled with heartache.
