Chapter 10: Unable to Get Married
After Junlan submitted her resignation, she felt like she had accomplished a great thing and felt a lot more relaxed.
In the entire hotel, only her partner Lihua knew about her resignation, and she was the only one who cared.
Lihua: "We just got to know each other well and developed a good understanding. How could you just leave without any responsibility? Can you bear to leave me?"
Jun Lan: "Don't say that, maybe you will like your next partner more! If you miss me, you can call me and we can go out and play together!"
"When you get married, you must let me know! I can go and share in your happiness."

Could you please be a bit of a hero and help me? I'll give you a paid day off tomorrow."
Junlan thought to herself: "Since you said so, how can I not go?" "Ring, ring, ring" a rapid phone call broke the quiet night and rang throughout the office like a midnight bell.
Junlan instinctively picked up the phone: "Hello, hello"
"Hello, I'm the guest in room 1508. I need a box of condoms. Please bring it up to me!"
Jun Lan was awakened immediately upon hearing this, and all sleepiness disappeared.
What?! The hotel actually provides these condoms. I'm new here, how would I know where to find them for you?
But Jun Lan still said stubbornly, "Okay, wait a moment."
She quickly called Li Yu's cell phone for help: "Foreman, the customer asked for condoms, where can I find them for her?"
"This is perfectly normal in a hotel. There's a supply locker in the workroom on every floor. You can open it by swiping your work card. Just take out the condoms and remember which room they belong to. Remember to tell the front desk, otherwise if a box is missing, they'll count it in our inventory."

She hurriedly picked up the condom and ran to the 15th floor.
Suddenly, she felt something was wrong. Why did the voice sound so familiar? But she was still in a daze and couldn't remember anything. She just wanted to finish delivering the things as soon as possible and go back to the office to sleep.

With a "click", the door opened and a man in a bathrobe came out to get something.
At this time, the condom slipped from Jun Lan's hand. She never dreamed that the man in a bathrobe who came to get the condom was the man she was about to marry.

When Fan Xi saw Jun Lan, a look of panic flashed in his eyes. Then he calmly picked up the condom on the ground and quickly closed the door.
The sound of the door closing with a bang hit Jun Lan's heart hard.
Junlan didn't expect him to be so cruel that he didn't even bother to explain to her and closed the door so quickly.
She raised her fist and wanted to bang on the door desperately to ask the person inside for clarification, but when her fist was raised in the air, she couldn't bring herself to knock it down.
No matter what the reason was, she knew that as long as she made such a fuss, all that Fan Xi had worked hard for before would most likely turn to ashes. Even if he was unfaithful, she didn't want to ruin a person's future like this, especially since this person had really worked hard and she still loved him.
She didn't know how she got back to the office, nor did she know when daybreak came. She only knew that when Li Yulai told her she could leave work, she fled back to her home in a very embarrassed manner.
Jun Lan was struggling internally, staring at her phone in a daze. She wanted to call Fan Xi and ask him to come out and talk things out, but she didn't have the courage. Waiting for his call was one of her most torturous times.
Tears soaked Junlan's eyes, and Junlan, tired of crying, slowly fell asleep.
When he woke up again, it was already past 6 o'clock in the evening. Lao Lin knocked on Jun Lan's door again: "If you don't get up to eat, I'm going to break in."
