In the taxi on the way home, Lao Zhou always felt that he had been at a disadvantage.
Originally he had to come and pick up his grandson, so he had no choice but to ask for leave. But now his son had clearly brought him here in person, and he had wasted his entire morning of precious practice time.
"You are about to come and send you off, so why do you ask me to pick you up?" Lao Zhou said in a dissatisfied tone.
Old Zhou's son was a little amused. Didn't the old man always want to see his grandson? Why was he so unhappy this time?
"Dad, you don't have anything to do at home, so why not come pick him up? Besides, wouldn't you be happy to pick up your own grandson?"
Old Zhou's grandson, who was seven years old this year, was very smart and clever. He said pitifully, "Grandpa, don't you like me anymore?"
Old Zhou quickly and kindly consoled him, "How is that possible? Grandpa loves you the most. How could Grandpa not like you? Grandpa hates your father."
Looking up at his son, he had a completely different expression on his face. He said sternly, "How can I be free? I have so much to do! Do you know what you've delayed me for? Forget it. You won't understand even if I tell you."
Old Zhou's son felt a moment of anger in his heart. This stubborn old man was always practicing feudal superstition. He probably lost all his pension money.
When he thought of the hard work his father had put in raising him since he was a child, he felt like a balloon punctured by a needle, and his anger slowly dissipated.
"Dad, I know you're following that liar again—" Seeing Lao Zhou's warning eyes, he quickly stopped talking and changed his address, "Master, Master, is that okay?"
"You're following him into some messy stuff again. What's going on? Are you so superstitious now that you don't even want to take care of your own grandson?"
"You little brat, you're talking nonsense. What do you mean by nonsense?" He raised his hand and pointed to the sky. "There is a god above us. Don't talk nonsense about things you don't understand."
He paused and looked at his grandson. "Didn't I just say that you wasted my time? Why wouldn't I want to take care of the child?"
"And you, kid, keep your mouth shut and don't say anything nonsense. Master An is a capable master!"
"Anyway, I don't believe it unless you ask him to perform for me on the spot." Lao Zhou's son said with a pout.
Old Zhou spitted and cursed, "I'm giving you a real show. Who the hell are you? How dare you be so shameless as to say such shameless things!"
Old Zhou's son is good at swallowing insults. He has become tough after being scolded by his father. He has been scolded and even beaten since he was a child.
The driver in front was also middle-aged. Old Zhou's son couldn't help but ask him for his opinion. "Master, tell me, do you believe in immortal cultivators?"
The driver said cheerfully, "Immortal cultivator? I'm not saying anything, old man, but you should listen to your son. He's a liar. There are too many liars these days. My old man also likes to listen to these nonsense and bought a bunch of useless things back home..."
"Not only did I spend a lot of money, but I also ruined my health..."
The other party said a lot of blah blah.
Lao Zhou's son gave Lao Zhou a look that said, "Look, I'm right, aren't I?"
If it were his own son, Lao Zhou would have scolded him long ago, but this driver had no relationship with him, so what the other person thought was none of his business.
———Your father was deceived because his eyes are blurry and old!
Old Zhou secretly rolled his eyes.
"Grandpa, let me tell you, don't be unhappy. Only people who truly care about you will tell you these things. Why would other people care about you?" The driver said while looking at Old Zhou's face in the rearview mirror.
"Just concentrate on driving." Lao Zhou said indifferently.
The driver looked at Lao Zhou's son helplessly in the rearview mirror and could only smile bitterly.
Suddenly, a white car came out from the side of the intersection!
"Be careful!" Old Zhou's son shouted in surprise after discovering it in time.
The driver also looked panicked, and with his many years of experience as a veteran driver, he subconsciously stepped on the brakes to slow down the car.
I completely missed the white car that suddenly appeared in front.
"Fortunately, nothing happened. It was so scary. What kind of car was he driving? I don't know if he was in a hurry to reincarnate without looking at the road..." the driver cursed.
But what they didn't notice was that a silver car suddenly hit them from the side!
"Dad!" Old Zhou's son roared in a terrified voice.
While holding his son in his arms, he reminded Lao Zhou.
He yelled at the driver with a hoarse voice: "It's going to crash!"
The car was heading towards the left side. If it was hit, the first people to be in trouble would be the driver and Lao Zhou sitting behind the driver.
The driver also noticed this sudden situation, but it was too late to react.
After a few breaths, he watched in despair as the silver car came closer and closer.
"Bang!"
Before Old Zhou's son even had time to react, the car was already very close and hit him with a bang.
Hearing the sound of the collision but not feeling the vibration, Lao Zhou's son opened his eyes, which were originally closed, and looked up curiously.
The scene before him shocked him completely.
The front of the speeding silver car was blocked by his father with both hands!
So the collision sound just now was not the sound of cars colliding, but the sound of his father's hands colliding with the silver car!
He didn't even know when his dad got off the bus.
The driver looked at the skinny old man and saw that he could actually use his hands to block the speeding car next to them!
His first reaction was to pinch himself, wondering if he was about to die, which was why he had such a big hallucination.
