After smoking a bunch of cigarettes, Jonah stood there cursing like crazy, "This damn Chinese guy, is he sick?!"
"How could the police station possibly find him some crappy pen?!"
Worried that An Jingzhi would suffer a loss at the police station, he had to drive after him after complaining a few words.
While driving in the car, he communicated with the agents around him.
An Jingzhi suddenly ran out like crazy. If he didn't explain, the agents around him might think that An Jingzhi was trying to escape.
"He's not running away. He lost his pen and he's going to the police station to report it."
"It's not a valuable item, but the pen is a souvenir of his."
"All clear."
Jonah drove fast all the way, but he couldn't catch up with An Jingzhi.
Without time to be surprised, he went straight to the police station.
"Why don't you give me the case?!"
"What do you mean it's just a pen? Do you know how important this pen is to me?!"
"That's my only commemoration of my family back home! It's more than just a pen! It's a memory! It's the bond of family love!"
"Sir, we have a rule that if a specific amount is not reached, we cannot file a case."
"I don't care what your rules are. I'm a taxpayer and I paid you. Now that things have been stolen from my house, you have to be held responsible!"
"Believe it or not, I will complain to you?!"
"Take him out." The policeman's face turned cold, and two people next to him, one on the left and one on the right, threw An Jingzhi out without any hesitation.
"Wait!" Jonah shouted in time.
The two policemen obviously didn't give him any face and threw An Jingzhi out directly. At the critical moment, Jonah rushed to the place where An Jingzhi was about to fall and acted as his human cushion.
"It hurts...Huh? Why doesn't it hurt?"
"Because I'm down there!" Bastard! Don't get up! He's almost been crushed to death!
An Jingzhi slowly climbed up as if he had just discovered that there was a human cushion underneath.
When he stood up, he supported his body with his knees, which pressed against the flesh beside Jonah's thigh, causing him to scream in pain.
An Jingzhi remained unmoved, slowly stood up and said disdainfully: "You scared me."
Jonah: “…”
After Jonah got up, An Jingzhi said with disappointment, "Jonah, didn't you tell me this is a free country and a country that values law?"
"Why is my pen lost and no one is looking for it? Why are they bullying a weak scholar like me?"
"Not only did they not file a case, they also made up all sorts of excuses and even threw me out roughly."
"If you hadn't arrived in time," he stretched out his right hand and touched his face, "my handsome face might have been disfigured."
Without waiting for Jonah to finish his words, he turned around angrily and said, "This place is completely different from what you told me. They don't care about my losses or my mood at all!"
Jonah hurriedly grabbed An Jingzhi's arm and promised, "I swear! An, they will definitely give you an explanation, believe me!"
An Jingzhi stopped in doubt.
Seeing that his emotions were temporarily stabilized, Jonah immediately walked over to the group of policemen who were watching the show nearby and took out his agent's ID.
Within five minutes, three policemen with bright smiles on their faces stood in front of An Jingzhi.
"I'm sorry, Mr. An. This is all my fault. I didn't hear you clearly just now. It was all a misunderstanding. Don't worry, we will definitely help you find your pen!"
"We will protect the interests of every taxpayer."
"Really?" An Jingzhi asked.
The three of them nodded in unison, "Of course it's true!"
An Jingzhi looked at Jonah standing beside him, and the other nodded quickly. "I just communicated with them. They misunderstood your question and thought you were here to cause trouble. It's all a misunderstanding."
An Jingzhi said with dissatisfaction: "That's your fault. You threw me out. If it wasn't for Jonah helping to catch me, I would have been injured."
"You need to apologize to me!"
The smiles on the three policemen's faces froze. After looking at Jonah's warning eyes, they forced themselves to smile again.
"Mr. An, we apologize for our behavior just now."
"Hmph." An Jingzhi said, "Wouldn't it have been better if you had done this earlier? I'm talking to you too. My English shouldn't have an accent, right? You can't even understand this. I think you should get some ear treatment."
The three of them just let An Jingzhi scold them with an air of contempt.
They swore that if Jonah hadn't been watching them, they would have immediately drawn their guns and killed the muttering Chinese man in front of them!
After An Jingzhi finished talking about the details of his pen, he took out the pen pinned on his collar and showed it to them for reference.
"Like this, the end of the pen has a little bit of paint missing, and this shape looks like a cloud."
"And this pen cap has a row of teeth marks on it. I bit it when I was a kid."
"Look here," he pointed to the place where he was holding his hand, "because I have been using it for more than ten years, the color of the hanging here is the same as the shape of my finger."
The more Jonah listened, the more he felt something was wrong, and the three policemen also felt something was strange.
Jonah took the initiative and asked, "Ann, do you have a second pen of the one you mentioned?"
"Of course not!"
Jonah looked aggrieved, "So what's this in your hand?"
An Jing reacted belatedly, picked up the pen in his hand, looked at it in front of him, and suddenly exclaimed in surprise, "Yes, isn't this my pen?!"
