"What's it to you?"
Zhong Yi glanced at him unhappily and didn't want to get entangled with her. Just as he was about to walk past her, the girl stretched out her hand to block his way.
"What?" Zhong Yi didn't have time to argue with her now.
"Zhong Yi, don't take advantage of your sister being Shen Qing to do whatever you want in the medical team. This is not your home. Do you really think you can come and go as you please?"
"Tsk, you live by the sea, why do you care so much?"
"you……"
"You, you, you, what else can you say besides 'you'? If you have this free time, you might as well do more reading and experimenting. You have no talent, and you don't work hard, but you dream of surpassing me every day. You really are a daydreamer."
"How could I have that!" Gong Yue's sore spot was touched and she refused to admit it.
Zhong Yi glanced at her and continued bluntly, "You have it everywhere."
"I like you..." Gong Yue raised her hand, but when she thought of Shen Qing and Dr. Zeng, she didn't dare to hit him.
"Tsk!" Zhong Yi rolled his eyes at her and walked away.
Gong Yue stomped her feet in anger. It was just a great teacher and sister. What was so great about that?
In the laboratory, the man in the white coat saw the girl come in, his face sullen, and he asked with a smile: "Gong Yue, what's wrong with you?"
"It's okay, I just met a particularly annoying person." Gong Yue sat down at her own laboratory table and started doing her own thing.
Dr. Yang paused for two seconds and asked tentatively, "You mean Zhong Yi?"
“Well…” As soon as the words fell, Gong Yue regretted it. Her uncle had specifically told her not to talk about Shen Qing and Zhong Yi with others.
Gong Yue quickly stood up and explained to Dr. Yang: "Teacher, no, I didn't see him, it was someone else."
Dr. Yang smiled, his eyes narrowed into slits: "Oh, I see."
Gong Yue looked at him twice. Dr. Yang was busy with his own things and didn't seem to pay much attention to what she had just said. Only then did she feel relieved.
The sky outside gradually darkened, and the last ray of light hid in the horizon. Looking out the window, the light was reflected yellow and white, and it looked hazy.
"Gong Yue, why aren't you leaving yet?" After cleaning up the desk, Dr. Yang glanced at the girl who was still looking up information.
Gong Yue was struck by Zhong Yi, and now she was full of energy: "Teacher, you go first."
Dr. Yang took a glance and walked out the door.
Instead of leaving directly, he went around to the small building at the back, stood outside the yard, and saw that the lights on the second floor were on.
"Dr. Yang." A mature male voice sounded from behind, startling people.
Dr. Yang turned around, a look of shock on his face. When he saw the person clearly, he breathed a sigh of relief: "It turned out to be my assistant."
"Why are you here, Dr. Yang? You shouldn't pass this way?" the assistant said, glancing at him meaningfully.
"I came here a few days ago. I seemed to have left something behind, so I came here to try my luck. However, I didn't find it, so I left." Dr. Yang smiled and turned to leave.
The assistant stared at the man's back as he walked further and further away, his expression becoming increasingly serious.
Dr. Yang didn't walk far and stopped at the corner. After a while, he looked back and found that his assistant had already left. He didn't see which direction he went.
He took out his cell phone and sent a text message: Zhong Yi has returned to the medical team, and the Zhuyucao extract should have been developed.
As soon as the message was sent, he deleted the chat history without leaving any trace.
