The two chatted for a while and it was almost time. She slept for quite a long time, about seven or eight hours.
Seeing that they were almost at the station, Liu Yun gave the remaining two apples to Wang Ying, one for her and one for Liu Zhengdong. Then she told Wang Ying to go back and get her luggage, and after everyone left, she quickly replaced the bag on the middle bunk with a bag that could hold her watch.
Not long after Liu Yun finished changing, Liu Zhengdong and Wang Ying arrived carrying large and small bags.
Wang Ying: "Sister Liu, your hand is injured, so it will be difficult for you to carry things later. There's no one here to help you, so we'll put the things here first. Liu Zhengdong will jump down first, and I'll pass them down from here. That way it'll be faster."
Liu Yun: "Thank you."
Wang Ying: "These are all minor matters."
Liu Yun: "We'll both go down to receive them later. Liu Zhengdong will hand them over from upstairs. My husband is coming to pick me up, and he can also receive them from downstairs. My things are heavy, and the two of us might not be able to carry them."
Wang Ying: "That works too."
Liu Zhengdong: "Let me help you get your things down first."
After saying that, they went to move the things on the middle bunk. They were surprised by the solid weight when they lifted it. The two women really couldn't lift it.
However, fearing that there might be valuables inside, Liu Zhengdong moved it very carefully.
The train slowly pulled into the station. After the train came to a complete stop, Liu Yun and Wang Ying quickly got off the train and went to the window to retrieve their belongings.
The three of them handed over Wang Ying's and Liu Zhengdong's things first, since Liu Yun's things were too heavy for the two of them to carry, so they could only hand them over when Qianhe arrived.
Fortunately, Yu Qianhe is always reliable, and they arrived before Wang Ying and the other person had even finished handing over their luggage.
As soon as she saw Yu Qian and Liu Yun, she immediately stepped back. After all, there's no harm in using someone's labor, especially since her hands were still hurting!
Liu Yun: "Come here, quickly take the things."
Yu Qian saw Liu Yun's hand when she received the items, but he didn't know how many packages were inside, so he couldn't ask. He could only hand the items over first.
With Yu Qianhe's help, the delivery was incredibly fast. When he felt the familiar weight of the last few packages, he knew what they were.
After handing it over to Liu Zhengdong, he jumped out of the window. Seeing Liu Zhengdong come down, Yu Qianhe knew that the delivery was complete.
He strode over to Liu Yun, grabbed her hand, rolled up her sleeves, and examined them. The more he looked, the deeper his brow furrowed; he hadn't expected the condition to be so serious.
"What happened? How did you get injured like this?"
Liu Yun: ……
What is she supposed to say? That she did something stupid, and not just one thing?
Actually, the marks from being sucked by the octopus would have healed in a few days, but the strange thing is that Liu Yun rubbed and scratched them by the lake for a long time, until they were all raw, so her hands and wrists looked particularly miserable.
But she didn't want to be publicly sentenced for the stupid things she had done; she didn't want to experience that kind of social death.
Liu Yun: "We'll talk about it later. Let's go back first. This is just a bit exaggerated."
Yu Qianhe: "Hmm."
Even so, he still looked a little unwell. After all, in his memory, Liu Yun had never been injured except for the two times she gave birth, and now her arm looked particularly pitiful. How could he possibly look good?
Liu Yun: "Thank you all so much for today. With so much luggage, I won't keep you here today. I'll treat you to a meal next time."
Wang Ying: "Sister Liu, you should go back quickly! Go and check your hand."
Liu Yun: "Okay, I'm leaving now, goodbye."
After saying that, she followed Yu Qianhe. This time, Yu Qianhe didn't need Liu Yun to urge him; he walked very fast because he wanted to quickly return the things and then take Liu Yun to the hospital for a checkup.
When he got home, his mother had already prepared dinner and was waiting for him, but Yu Qianhe didn't care. He put the cart in the yard and placed Liu Yun's backpack on it.
"Dad, tidy up the things in the yard. I'm taking Liu Yun out for a bit."
Liu Yun, smelling the aroma of food on the train but unable to eat enough for breakfast because it was leftovers: ...
"Where are we going? Can I eat something first? I'm so hungry."
Yu Qianhe: "Go to the hospital, where else can we go?"
Yu Qian's parents, who had come out upon hearing his shouts, also rushed over.
"What happened? Where are you hurt? Who's injured?"
Liu Yun: "Mom, it's okay, no one is hurt."
Yu Qianhe: "Look at the state of your hands. Go eat quickly, and then go to the hospital."
Upon hearing this, Yu's mother grabbed Liu Yun's hand and rolled up her sleeve, "Oh my god! How did it get like this? Hurry up and go to the hospital. I'll bring you some food."
Liu Yun: "Mom, it's really nothing, it just looks exaggerated, there's really no need to go to the hospital."
Mother Yu: "How did it get like this?"
Seeing this, Liu Yun knew she couldn't hide it anymore, but she was going to be in deep trouble again. She was sucked by an octopus and ended up like this. Who else in the world could do this but her?
Upon hearing the reason, Yu's mother finally breathed a sigh of relief, "This time you'll learn your lesson. Will you dare to grab things you don't know in the future?"
Liu Yun: "Never again."
Yu Qianhe: "You should go to the hospital to get it checked out later. Something feels wrong. Your hand is obviously red and swollen, and it looks like it's inflamed."
Liu Yun: "It's probably because I scratched it!"
Yu Qianhe: "Alright, hurry up and go eat. After you eat, go to the hospital to get checked out. There's no room for discussion about this."
Liu Yun: "Okay!"
Liu Yun was speechless. She had already embarrassed herself enough by being made like this by an octopus. She had finally left Guangshi and no one knew about it, but now she had to be taken to see a doctor. Wasn't this going to be another disaster?
Did she not add any color to the legendary gossip of Xinshi, but instead add color to the legendary gossip of Xiangshi?
