Chapter 164 Absconding with the money

Liu Aidang saw that the police had arrived outside the crowd and didn't want to waste any more words with them.

Liu Aidang: "Keep these words to the police! Officer, it was him who deliberately caused trouble and is suspected of extortion. He threatened me with 50,000 yuan and a house. Everyone can testify to this."

“That’s right, this guy started causing trouble as soon as he came in.”

"And he asked for 50,000 yuan and a house right off the bat."

"And what an unfilial son!"

"He still owes the boss a lot of money!"

"Such an unfilial son deserves to be struck by lightning."

With everyone talking at once, Liu Aiguo was completely confused. Why was this not what he had imagined? Why wasn't Liu Aiguo taking action this time?

However confused Liu Aiguo was, he was still taken away by the police.

Even after arriving at the police station, Liu Aiguo still couldn't comprehend what had happened or what was going on. Wasn't he supposed to be asking Liu Aidang for money?

How did I end up at the police station all by myself?

As a result, Liu Aiguo was still detained for three days for deliberately causing trouble.

Xu Hongxing was surprised to find that Liu Aiguo had not returned even after she had packed her things.

It wasn't until evening that I went out and inquired around and learned that Liu Aiguo had been taken away by the police.

She hasn't come back yet because she's been locked up. Xu Hongxing never expected that even God was helping her.

The next morning, I changed into clean clothes, dressed neatly, went out for breakfast, and then headed to the housing registration center with my documents.

In one morning, all the formalities were completed. When I came out, the house and shop were gone, but I had an extra 20,000 yuan.

She wasn't reluctant at all; she simply asked the customer who bought the house to give her two more days to move.

The homeowner wasn't in a hurry and agreed immediately.

Knowing that Liu Aiguo was in jail, Xu Hongxing was no longer in a hurry. He even sold all the refrigerator, washing machine, television, and rice cooker in his house, selling everything he could to get money.

They then visited the rooms of several unfilial sons and daughters, but found nothing except a few hundred yuan.

The only option is to sell all the valuables in the house.

When Liu Jia and his companions returned home, they found the house empty.

Liu Jiaqi: "Could our house have been burgled?"

Liu Jiahui: "Go check if anything is missing from your room."

Suddenly, the group remembered where they had deposited their money and rushed back to their room to search. Sure enough, the money was gone.

Liu Jiaqi: "Hey! Where's my money?"

Liu Jiahui: "My money is gone too, damn it, Mom must have taken it all."

Liu Jiaman: "Wait, where did Dad go? I haven't seen him at all."

Liu Jia, riding on his wife's back, asked, "Where are my jewelry? Where is my necklace?"

Liu Jiahui's wife: "My bracelet is also missing."

Liu Jiaqi: "Something's not right. Let's go check out Mom and Dad's room and see if their things are still there."

When the group opened the door, the room was indeed bare and empty.

When she opened the closet, all of her father's clothes were there, but her mother's clothes were all gone.

A thought crossed their minds: their things might have been taken by their mother.

The fact that no one was home made them feel uneasy. They wanted to find Liu Aiguo and Xu Hongxing to find out what was going on, but neither of them were home, and they didn't know where to look for them.

He could only wait at home for the two to return, but he sat there until dawn and they never came back.

Meanwhile, Xu Hongxing had already boarded a bus to the neighboring city with his luggage.

The Liu family waited all day, but Liu Aiguo and Xu Hongxing never returned.

Until a stranger came to the door.

Upon hearing the knock, Liu Jiaqi hurriedly went to open the door, and his expression worsened when he saw that he didn't recognize the person at the door.

Liu Jiaqi: "Who are you? What are you doing at my house?"

"This must be Ms. Xu Hongxing's home!"

Liu Jiaqi: "Why are you looking for my mom?"

"Here's the thing, Ms. Xu Hongxing has sold the house to me. When are you moving out? Ms. Xu Hongxing said you would move out within two days, so what's going on?"

Liu Jiahui: "You think you can just sell it like that? Why should we believe you? Besides, this is my house, get out of here right now."

Mr. Li: "Wait, but the property certificate for this house is in my name. This should be my home! Please move out immediately, or I will call the police."

Upon hearing this, Liu Jiahui slammed the door shut.

Liu Jiahui: "What is Mom doing? Did she really sell the house? What about Dad? Where did he go?"

Liu Jiayue: "I heard someone say they went in, but I don't know if it's true."

Liu Jiahui: "Mom wouldn't really sell the house, steal everything in the house, and then run away with the money, would she?"

The group remained at home, each making their own guesses.

Liu Jiaqi's wife said, "I told you yesterday to call the police. It must have been your mother who stole the money. You didn't believe me, but now look what's happened."

Liu Jiaqi: "Who knows if what that person said is true? Besides, how could my mom have the guts? If it were my dad, that might be possible, but he's in the police station right now! He'll know what happened when he gets out."

Unexpectedly, the police came to our door the next day.

"Officer, they are the ones who have occupied the private residence."

The person who bought the house knew he had been ripped off, but so what? He paid for the house, and his name is on the property certificate, so the house belongs to him.
