Chapter 75 The Triplets Forced to Kneel

Summer vacation has started, and there are more and more children on the streets. However, the triplets prefer to stay at home, eat fruit, and listen to their father tell stories rather than go out and play with other children.

The main reason is that Yu's mother and Liu Yun now require that the fruit at home is not allowed to be taken out and can only be eaten at home. They also cannot tell others, otherwise there will be no more fruit to eat in the future. Therefore, the triplets do not have much of an interest in going out to play. It's not like they don't have playmates at home. It's good for the three of them to play together, and no one will take away their toys.

Every morning, I get up early to exercise with my father. He goes for a run, and the three of us stand in a horse stance. Now I can stand for ten minutes at a time, and I improve a little bit every day.

He studies in the morning, plays with the neighbor's kids in the afternoon, and goes for a walk with his parents after dinner. His regular lifestyle is so impressive that Liu Yun admires him. She can't even do that. Is he still a child?

Fortunately, all three of them are quite well-behaved, unlike their father when he was a child. Not to mention that they are all so difficult to manage, she would go crazy if she had just one of them. It's better for them to be well-behaved.

And what were the three well-behaved kids doing? They were directing a group of underlings to collect cicada shells in the grove! They had brought a lot of dried fruit from home, and they could exchange five cicada shells for one piece of dried fruit. Then the three of them took the cicada shells to the collection station to exchange them for money.

Because the three children are older and know how to control themselves, Liu Yun doesn't manage these snacks as strictly as he did when they were younger. He doesn't lock them all up, since he can't control them forever; it's better for them to learn to control themselves.

Therefore, Yu's mother would pack some fruit for them to eat outside every day, which made things convenient for them. Even though none of the three were picky eaters, they would still get tired of eating the same thing too often.

The three of them were quite clever; they offered dried pears, which they didn't particularly like, in exchange, since they had the most dried pears at home and were getting tired of them.

There was no other way; the local pear production was quite high, so pears were the most Liu Yun brought back. This way, even if she took more, no one would suspect anything.

But what they were tired of eating was a rare treat for other children. After all, they didn't have a mother with a lot of space like the triplets. Every household was short of food, and even if they could buy some pears, they would only buy some to try in season. They didn't have dried fruit like this to eat slowly. At most, they would occasionally eat some dried sweet potatoes.

The three of them were incredibly clever. In the summer, they would collect cicada shells to exchange for money, and at home, they would collect unused toothpaste tubes and Arctic Ocean soda bottles to sell. They tried every possible way to save money, and it's unclear where they learned these tricks, even though Liu Yun and Yu Qian had never shown them how to make money.

To be honest, Liu Yun really didn't know any of this. After all, she hadn't paid any attention to these little things and assumed they were just playing with them, so she didn't care.

In this way, bit by bit, over a year, the three of them actually accumulated quite a bit.

The bulk of the money comes from red envelopes during Chinese New Year and money received on birthdays.

Since the triplets started school, Liu Yun stopped accepting their New Year's money and let them keep it themselves.

Liu Yun knew nothing about the triplets' serious money-making scheme, not even their mother.

In Liu Yun's eyes, the triplets are not only well-behaved but also three little devils. While others go out to play every day during holidays, they read books seriously every morning without fail.

Since their last conversation, the three of them have become much more positive about their studies. They no longer complain about the amount of homework assigned by the teachers and complete their assignments diligently every day. If they don't know something, they ask their parents or ask Qianhe and Liu Yun after get off work.

The three of them love asking their dad the most questions, because he not only teaches them how to do their homework, but also how to make toys and play games.

The real mastermind behind it all, Liu Yun, is hiding behind her husband. After all, a father's presence is also very important in a child's growth, isn't it? She shouldn't compete with the father for this opportunity to grow up together with her child; she has plenty of opportunities to do so.

It's definitely not because she's seen too many videos online of parents struggling to finish their homework and getting scared, but because Yu Qian often has to travel for work and doesn't have many opportunities to spend time with his child, so she doesn't compete for it.

This summer, the triplets have made quite a bit of money.

To Liu Yun's surprise, the three little devils gave her a big surprise, or rather, a big shock, right at the start of the school year.

It was a Sunday, a day off, so Liu Yun got up early to deliver a batch of goods to Liu Jing in the suburbs. That way, it wouldn't be too hot on her way back, and she would ride her bicycle slowly along the riverbank.

Several middle and high school students were swimming in the river. Although many people went to the shallows to swim and catch fish at this time of year, Liu Yun couldn't help but shake her head. Swimming in the lotus pond without permission was unacceptable, especially in the river! They really hadn't been punished enough. On the bank, a few children had rolled up their trousers and were moving stones and piling sand. It was too dangerous for such young children to play by the river; they would definitely get a good beating when they got back.

Upon closer inspection, her heart skipped a beat. Liu Yun could no longer control her temper. Abandoning her bicycle, she ran towards the riverbank. She swore that since her transmigration, she had never been this angry, not even when her job was stolen. She never imagined that she would be beaten by her own daughter and son when she got back.

"Yu Zi, Yu Nan, Yu Leng, you two come here. I'll count to three. Are you itching for a beating? You're not comfortable until you've been beaten, are you? You really want to try it? If you're not here by now, you'll get a beating when you get home, and all your snacks will be confiscated."

The triplets saw Liu Yun still laughing carefree, showing off to their mother.

"Mom, look, these are the little fish I caught."
