Chapter 46: How can you feel so at ease after causing so much trouble?
"You...what do you mean by that?"
Meng Qingyan looked at Chu Ci. Although she knew that her daughter, whom she had not lived with for eighteen years, would not become close to her right away, she did not want her to treat her in such an attitude.
Now Meng Qingyan no longer cared about being sad about Chu Ci's attitude. She needed to solve the trouble Meng Yuxin encountered as soon as possible.

She felt a fear she had never felt before.

Chu Ci left the police station after recording his statement.
When she left the police station, Meng Yuxin was still being questioned inside.
When I got home and just entered the house, I saw Chu Yuheng, Meng Qingyan and Chu Han sitting in the living room.
This was the first time Chu Ci met Master Chu Yuheng. His gentle, handsome and mature face seemed to be covered with a layer of frost.
The atmosphere in the living room was somewhat solemn.
Chu Ci went upstairs without even saying hello.
"where are you going?"
Chu Yuheng's voice was a little cold.

Chu Yuheng's tone was full of blame.
"The police came to my house because a crime had occurred. You should ask if they should ask the person who did the wrong thing, not me, the victim."
"We live in the same house, and if taking the wrong package is considered stealing, then what about sitting at the same table and eating together?" Chu Yuheng angrily accused Chu Ci.
"I gave her a chance. As long as she could admit her mistake within the time limit I gave her, I would not bother with her. But she was not sure." Chu Ci responded coldly.
