Seeing how brave the little girl was in searching for Su Lei, Su Xixi felt it would be too embarrassing for her to back down. So she nodded vigorously, encouraging herself, "Okay, it'll be just the two of us going to find Su Lei."
The two little ones each carried a small bag and sneaked out the door when the servants weren't looking.
"Little dumpling, Su Lei has a children's programming competition to participate in today. Knowing him as I do, I'm sure he'll go." Su Xixi pointed to a simple map she had drawn herself and said to the little dumpling, "The place where he participates in the programming competition is here, and we are here now. It's about one, two, three, four, five, six, or eight blocks apart. I studied it last night; we need to take the subway and then transfer to two buses to get there..."
Seeing Su Qianqian's serious expression, as if she were explaining how they should level up in a game, Su Ruanruan couldn't help but tilt her head and ask, "Sister, why don't we take the bus there?"
Su Xixi was embarrassed. How could she be so stupid?
No one expected that they didn't need to take public transportation at all; they could have just taken a taxi.
Just then, a taxi slowly pulled up in front of them. "Little one, where are you going?"
"Let's go, let's go!" The little dumpling hurriedly jumped up and down, trying to open the car door, but his height was too limited, and even when he jumped up, he couldn't reach the door handle.
The middle-aged driver's smile was incredibly gentle; men of this age are truly powerless against adorable little bundles of joy.
He got out of the car, picked up the little one and put him in the back seat, then fastened his seatbelt.
The little dumpling's round eyes crinkled into crescent moons with laughter. "Thank you, Uncle..."
The baby's voice was sweet, crisp, and adorable, melting straight into one's heart.
Susie had already gotten into the car and sat down on her own, using both her hands and feet.
Then, she carefully took out her homemade map from her small bag and showed it to the driver. "Uncle, look, my sister and I want to go to this place to find my brother. Can you take us there?"
The middle-aged driver stared at the crumpled paper, at the spot where Su Xixi was pointing to a net, and his face fell.
How could he possibly know what this mysterious web meant in the little baby's amazing little mind?
Susie looked at the driver staring at her blankly, and after a while, she patted him on the shoulder and said, "Oh, Uncle, I understand, we have money."
As she spoke, she rummaged through her small bag and pulled out a few red banknotes, handing them to the driver. "Uncle, here, is this enough?"
The driver sighed, "Little one, it's not about the money, it's that I don't understand where you want to go."
Susie frowned and stared at her map for a while, then asked the little dumpling in confusion, "Little dumpling, is my map not clear?"
"Well..." The little dumpling's face was full of seriousness, "I might not be a little clear, sister, why don't you just tell Uncle where we're going!"
Susie scratched her head. "But I don't know where that place is either!"
Driver: "Little kids, why don't you tell me what you're going to do?"
"Our brother is participating in a programming competition, and we want to go cheer him on, Uncle, can you take us there?" the little dumpling quickly answered.
The middle-aged driver's eyes lit up. "Alright!"
The two little ones started nibbling on each other's ears. The driver looked at the two adorable babies in the rearview mirror, and his smile became even more doting.
The two sisters are so cute, they melt your heart.
I wonder if their parents saved the galaxy to have two such adorable daughters and a brother who made it to the finals of the National Children's Programming Competition.
Unlike his two brats, who turn the house into a battlefield and a garbage dump all the time.
well!
I really want to stuff them back in and rework them!
The driver took the two little ones to the Children's Palace.
When the two sisters quietly slipped into the Children's Palace hand in hand, the children's programming competition had already begun.
On stage were children aged 5 to 8, skillfully operating the keyboard and mouse.
Su Lei was indeed on stage, frowning as he intently looked at his computer, making final preparations for the competition.
He is very interested in and talented in programming. These children's programming problems are a piece of cake for him, and he is not worried. However, the cheers and shouts of encouragement for their own children from the audience make him feel uneasy.
The thought that after today's match, he would have to go to the orphanage made his eyes sting.
But he was only distracted for a few seconds before he forced himself to concentrate again. He had to win today's competition. Only by going to the orphanage with honor would he not be looked down upon or bullied!
He raised his hand to wipe away the tears that had involuntarily slid down his cheeks, and looked straight back at the computer in front of him. Suddenly, he heard a cute, childlike voice from below the stage, "Go, brother! Go, Su Lei! You're the fattest of all!"
Um?
Su Lei felt as if his heart had been suddenly squeezed by a large hand, and he abruptly looked up at the source of the sound.
The adorable little dumpling sat in its seat, waving its two chubby arms like lotus roots, and shouting at the top of its lungs, "Go, brother, go!"
Seeing him looking over, the little dumpling shouted even louder.
Although Su Xixi, who was sitting next to him, looked a little disgusted, she still clenched her fist at him and gave him a thumbs-up.
Su Lei was overwhelmed with mixed feelings.
