"Okay." The little dumpling readily agreed and crawled into the tent, completely oblivious to the fact that Gu Chen was asking her to rummage through his bag to get something.
After all, what bad intentions could an eight-year-old child possibly have?
After reinforcing the four corners of the tent a second time, Gu Chen squatted down at the tent entrance, watching the little dumpling crawling around inside the tent spreading out blankets. He couldn't suppress the smile on his face.
After the four corners of the blanket were attached to the four corners of the tent, the little dumpling stood up, clapped her hands, put her hands on her hips, looked around, and nodded her little head in satisfaction.
She looked up and saw Gu Chen smiling at her from outside. Her little face lit up with a bright smile, and she proudly raised her head. "Brother Gu Chen, look, didn't I lay it out very well?"
A smile appeared in Gu Chen's dark, deep eyes as he nodded slightly. "Yes, Xiao Ruanruan is laid out very well."

He had barely uttered the word "friend" when he was grabbed by the back of his collar.
Su Yan tossed him aside, frowned slightly, and looked at the little bundle inside the tent. "Little Ruan Ruan, come out."
"Oh." The little dumpling responded sweetly and softly, and was scooped up by Su Yan as soon as it stepped out of the tent.
