The old lady was speechless, her face dark with anger as she glared at Su Yiqing. "You unfilial son! Do you even have any respect for your grandmother anymore? Are you only satisfied when you've driven this old woman abroad?"
Su Yiqing's eyes were devoid of any warmth. "If Grandma is willing to go abroad to recuperate, I will carefully select a quiet estate for her."
"You..." The old lady was so angry that she clutched her chest and couldn't say another word.
Su Yiqing immediately called out to Li Chang, "Uncle Li, arrange a car to take Grandma back to the old house."
Li Chang respectfully went over to help the old lady.
The old lady slapped his hand away. "Fine, Su Yiqing, you've grown wings now and don't respect your grandma anymore. You can kick me out, but I've already arranged for your cousins to be brought back. You'll have to support them whether you want to or not!"
"Otherwise, I'll just smash my old bones against your villa door and die. I want to see how you, Su Yiqing, can survive in Chongqing after driving your own grandmother to her death!"
After the old lady finished speaking fiercely, she glared at Su Ruanruan for a moment before leaving with her cane.
Su Ruanruan's small hand touched Su Yiqing's large hand that was covering her ears.
She raised her little face, her clear eyes looking at Su Yiqing, "Big brother, I'm sorry."
Su Yiqing's tense face softened into a gentle smile as he reached out and ruffled her soft hair. "Silly Ruanruan, what nonsense are you talking about? How could you possibly wrong your big brother?"
Su Ruanruan twisted her fair and tender little fingers, "If I hadn't come back, Grandma wouldn't have found an excuse to force Big Brother."
Su Yiqing's expression softened even more. "Silly Ruanruan, if you hadn't come back, Grandma would have found other excuses to pressure me. Remember, those flies that want to suck your blood will come and bite you no matter if you have a crack or not."
Although Su Ruanruan looked bewildered, she nodded very seriously, genuinely agreeing with her older brother's words.
After the old lady left, Su Miao obediently returned to the small building next door by herself.
Su Yiqing called Ah Xiang to take care of Su Ruanruan and then left.
Su Ruanruan sat alone on the sofa for a while, feeling sullen, before knocking on Su Xiaowu's door.
As soon as Su Xiaowu opened the door, she put her hands on her hips and kicked him angrily like a little pufferfish. "Little buddy, do you hate me that much? You even invited Grandma to come just to get rid of me. You know perfectly well that Grandma doesn't like us!"
This time, Su Xiaowu surprisingly didn't jump around and make a fuss with her.
Instead, a pair of sharp eyes stared at her, as if trying to see through her heart.
"You haven't even seen Grandma since you came back, and you shouldn't even know she exists. How do you know Grandma doesn't like us?"
Su Ruanruan choked for a moment; in her anger, she had forgotten such details.
Before she could speak, Su Xiaowu took a step closer to her, using his height advantage to look down at her.
"Tell me, who are you? Who sent you to our house? What is your purpose?"
Su Ruanruan never expected that Su Xiaowu, who seemed carefree and mischievous, would be so observant and start to suspect her.
She pouted, "Little brother, I'm Su Ruanruan. I'm your sister, boohoo..."
A flicker of panic crossed Su Xiaowu's eyes, but she quickly regained her composure and said, "Don't cry to me, it won't help. I'm not a tyrant, I won't be soft-hearted towards you."

As she spoke, she crossed her small arms over her chest, looking self-righteous no matter what she had done to Su Miao.
