Chapter 274 Su Laosi is a real dog

The little dumpling tilted its head and watched Jiajia chatting with the pig for a while.

Although she couldn't see the energy that Xiaotaozi was talking about, she could sense that Jiajia's temperament had completely changed.

Although her features still resemble Qin Miaoxian's, she no longer possesses that chilling aura.

Just then, Wang Yingjun walked over.

The little dumpling toddled towards him with her short legs, tilted her rosy little face up, and asked with a bewildered look, "Handsome brother, there's something I haven't figured out yet, can I ask you?"

Wang Yingjun has always been known in the entertainment industry for his refined and gentle demeanor.

Hearing that Xiao Ruanruan had a question to ask him, he naturally squatted down, looked at her at eye level, and asked gently, "What does Xiao Ruanruan want to ask her brother?"

Little Ruanruan's brows furrowed into a wavy shape in distress. "Handsome brother, why are all of Ruanruan's brothers surnamed Su? Ruanruan's surname is Su, but you, handsome brother, are surnamed Wang, while Jiajia's surname is Qin?"

Wang Yingjun's expression changed slightly, then he regained his gentle demeanor, deliberately frowning, "Hmm... this is a little complicated. Ruanruan is still too young. Even if I explain it to her, she might not understand..."

Before he could finish speaking, Tao Ziyu, who happened to be passing by, stopped in her tracks.

"Handsome, I'm actually quite curious too, why doesn't your sister share your last name?"

Wang Yingjun's face turned slightly embarrassed for a moment. "Actually, this matter is a bit strange. Jiajia's surname is also Wang, but starting three months ago, she would often suddenly say that her surname was Qin, and she seemed like a completely different person..."

Tao Ziyu's expression became noticeably more serious as he glanced at Jiajia, who was now obediently feeding the piglets with vegetable leaves and talking to them.

"Jiajia, have you seen a doctor?"

"I've seen a doctor, and he said it's hysteria. But the causes of this disease are complex, and there's no good treatment for it right now."

We can only hope that she grows up a bit and matures a little more, so that she can return to normal.” Wang Yingjun’s eyes showed more affection as he looked at Jiajia.

The little girl tilted her head up, tugged at Wang Yingjun's sleeve, blinked her big, bright eyes, and asked in a soft, sweet voice, "Brother Yingjun, does Jiajia know Sister Qin Miaoxian?"

Wang Yingjun naturally knew why the little dumpling would ask that question.

With a slightly helpless and sorrowful expression, she replied, "Little Ruanruan, Jiajia has a very strange illness, so when you first met her, it was all nonsense she was making up."

Her surname is Wang, not Qin, and she doesn't have an older sister named Qin Miaoxian.

"Oh, I see!" The little dumpling bit her thumb, tilted her head and pondered for a while, "Little Softie understands, Little Softie will play nicely with Sister Jiajia!"

The little dumpling, its tiny paws clattering, ran back to the pigpen and went to feed the pigs with Jiajia.

After feeding the pigs, before dinner, Little Dumpling found Little Peach again.

"Sister Little Peach, I've figured it out. The energy you're talking about is actually a ghost, right?"

Little Peach, who was fiddling with tarot cards, nodded calmly. "Didn't I make myself perfectly clear just now? You're only just realizing it now? Is your IQ 250 or 280?"

The little dumpling didn't mind the little peach's sharp tongue at all and continued seriously, "So you said that Sister Jiajia has evil energy, which means that an evil ghost is controlling Sister Jiajia, right?"

And my brothers, are they being affected by ghosts, causing their tragic fates?

So if I can catch those ghosts, I can save my brothers, right?

Little Peach glanced at her and said, "You've got a pretty simple idea."

"Huh?" the little dumpling asked, puzzled.

"Hmph!" Little Peach sneered, "The so-called 'human heart is a den of demons,' but what's truly terrifying is never any ghost, but people!"

Those ghosts are actually just a mass of energy. They weren't even in the same dimension as humans, so they couldn't possibly harm anyone.

The reason why some of them have interfered with human society is because someone is behind it all, do you understand?

Even if you catch one, if you don't find the person behind it all, they can just wave their hand and send another one over.

The little dumpling looked serious and fell into deep thought once again.

"Dinner's ready!" Yu Dahuzi's loud and deep voice came from inside the courtyard.

Little Peach glanced at Little Softie, "Come on, it's time to eat. Why aren't you here? If you're not eager to eat, you've got a problem with your head!"

The little dumpling snapped out of her daze and followed Little Peach as they ran out of the room.

As soon as I entered the courtyard, I smelled an enticing aroma of food.

She toddled over to Uncle Beard and Shi Yu, exclaiming, "Wow, Uncle Beard and Brother Shi Yu's cooking smells so good! It must be delicious!"

"If it's delicious, eat more later!" Shi Yu unconsciously reached out and ruffled his soft hair.

"Okay!" The little dumpling nodded emphatically in a soft and obedient manner.

A pair of bright, obsidian-like eyes looked at Shi Yu, feeling a sense of familiarity and warmth towards him, yet unable to recall where they had met before.

Xiao Xiang and Su Yan returned one after the other, each carrying a large basket of corn on their backs.

Su Yan put the basket down and walked listlessly to the shed where they ate, then slumped into a chair...

[Hahaha, my brother's BJ slouch is pretty good, isn't it!]

I used to think my cool and aloof husband was lovable, but I never imagined that his current gentle and vulnerable side would make him even more endearing!
