Chapter 28 The Little Dumpling is Angry

Su Xiaowu locked herself in her room, feeling rather depressed.

He went up to the third floor last night to check on Xiao Tuanzi, worried that she might be scared alone in her room after being rescued.

Who knew that they would see the little dumpling sticking out its little bottom and sneakily putting something into Su Miao's room.

After the little dumpling returned to her room, he also went to check outside Su Miao's room, but found nothing.

Then, shortly after he returned to his bedroom, he heard Su Miao screaming from upstairs.

When he rushed upstairs, the tyrant was already standing outside Su Miao's door.

But seeing the tyrant's terribly gloomy and ugly face, he didn't dare to go over.

This morning, I saw the tyrant ordering people to pack up Su Miao's things and move them to the small building next door.

He knew that the little dumpling must have done something outside Su Miao's door last night.

Moreover, the little dumpling has only been back for a few days and the tyrant who used to dote on Su Miao has already made Su Miao live in a small building.

He felt that if he let the little dumpling continue to develop like this in the family, it wouldn't be long before the tyrant would be bewitched into kicking him out as well.

That's why he thought of using his grandmother's help to drive the little dumpling away.

But he never expected that his grandmother's arrival would make the tyrant so angry, and he never expected that his grandmother had done such a terrible thing to the tyrant.

No wonder that in the years since he can remember, only he and Su Miao have visited their grandmother; his older brothers have never gone.

Moreover, the little dumpling looked quite pitiful when it was being chased away, its trembling little face was rather pathetic.

"Sigh!" Su Xiaowu sighed, recalling the panic in the little dumpling's clear eyes when her grandmother argued with the tyrant. She then lay down on the bed with her head resting on her arm.

However, he can't really take care of the little dumpling now; he's already in a precarious situation, barely able to save himself!

The tyrant must have known that Grandma was someone he had brought here, but why hasn't the tyrant come to settle scores with him since Grandma left?

Is this the calm before the storm?

Is the tyrant really planning to kick him out of the Su family?

Su Xiaowu shuddered at the thought. What would he do if the tyrant really wanted to kick him out?

He is only eight years old and cannot inherit his parents' estate. He doesn't have much pocket money saved up, and if he is kicked out, he will probably starve to death soon!

Just as Su Xiaowu was feeling irritable, an enticing sweet fragrance suddenly wafted into her nose.

He took a deep sniff and sat up. "It smells so good!"

Drawn by the aroma, he unconsciously left his room and went downstairs. "Hey, Lao Liu, your cooking skills have improved lately! What delicious food did you make that smells so good?"

He greeted the chef familiarly as he walked into the kitchen.

However, he froze as soon as he got close to the kitchen.

Because the person busy in front of the oven now is not the familiar Lao Liu, but the little dumpling Su Ruanruan.

Su Ruanruan was wearing large heat-resistant gloves and standing on a stool when she took the freshly baked cookies out of the oven, while Uncle Li carefully protected her from behind.

Su Xiaowu swallowed hard, stood at the kitchen doorway and snorted coldly, "I thought it was Lao Liu whose cooking skills had improved, but I didn't expect it to be you?"

"What kind of cookies can you make? Let me try them first, so as not to waste my family's food!"

Su Ruanruan was carefully packing the freshly baked cookies into a box.

Hearing his voice, she took advantage of her height while standing on the stool and looked down at him arrogantly, "If you want to eat my cookies, you'd better go apologize to Big Brother first!"

Su Xiaowu glared at him, looking furious. "Who cares about your cookies? I'm just worried you'll waste my family's food!"

Su Ruanruan was a little angry. "If you don't apologize to Daguo, I won't give you my cookies."

As she spoke, she hugged the small box containing cookies and asked Uncle Li to lift her off the stool.

She wanted to go upstairs to give the cookies to her older brother, but when she passed by Su Xiaowu...

Su Xiaowu suddenly stuck out her foot and tripped him.

She already had poor control over her body, and with the cookie box blocking her view, she fell flat on her face.

The cookie box also flew quite a distance, scattering cookies everywhere.

Overwhelmed with grievances, her eyes welled up with tears.

Su Xiaowu's heart skipped a beat. He didn't know why, but seeing the little dumpling trying so hard not to cry made him feel a little depressed.

The little dumpling scrambled to its feet, tears still welling in its eyes, threatening to spill over.

A pair of bright, watery eyes glared at Su Xiaowu and she yelled, "Little buddy, you've gone too far! I'll never talk to you again!"

She squatted down and picked up the cookies one by one, but still couldn't hold back her tears, which fell "plop, plop" onto the floor.

Li Chang and A Xiang rushed over to help, but the little dumpling refused, saying, "Uncle Li, Aunt A Xiang, you don't need to help Ruan Ruan. Ruan Ruan can pick it up herself."

Li Chang looked at Su Xiaowu and shook his head in disappointment. "Young Master, you really went too far this time. These cookies were baked by Miss for two hours to give to the Eldest Young Master, hoping that eating something sweet would cheer him up."

Su Xiaowu's eyes flashed, and she turned her face away haughtily, "Hmph, a tyrant wouldn't eat sweets!"

Li Chang sighed as he watched Su Xiaowu's retreating figure go upstairs.

Just then, Su Yiqing and Yue Jun came down.

I saw the little dumpling lying on the ground picking something up, while her little shoulders were twitching, as if she was crying.
