When Su Ruanruan was carried out of the car by Su Yiqing, she saw Su Miao crying in the garden.
While wiping away her tears, Su Miao kept glancing towards the door from the corner of her eye.
Upon seeing Su Yiqing return with Su Ruanruan, he immediately stood up, sobbing, and walked towards the two of them.
"Ruanruan, I'm sorry, the little puppy... the little puppy died, waaaaah..." Su Miao sobbed incoherently.
Su Ruanruan stared with her big, bright eyes, a complex emotion welling up inside her.
She really didn't expect Su Miao to be so cruel; such a cute little puppy only lived for two days in her care!
Seeing Su Ruanruan on the verge of tears, Su Yiqing felt a pang of heartache. He quickly bent down and scooped her up, wiping away the two silent tears that had fallen from her little face. "Ruanruan, it's okay. The puppy died. I'll have the pet store send you another one."
"Okay, okay, big brother, can you ask the shop assistant to send another one home?" Before Su Ruanruan could speak, Su Miao quickly wiped away her tears, tugged at Su Yiqing's clothes, and said, "I will definitely take good care of it this time, and I won't let the puppy die for no reason again."
Su Ruanruan clenched her little fists and gently shook her head. "Big brother, no need. I don't want to raise any other dogs. I'll just raise Xiaobai."
Pet shops should remain open so that all those adorable dogs can find loving owners.
Hearing Su Ruanruan's disappointed words, Su Miao was extremely anxious and reflexively wanted to argue with her. However, remembering Qin Tao's instructions on the phone, she lowered her head sullenly and said, "Ruanruan, I'm sorry."
"Su Miao, are you a garbage bag?" Su Qianqian's clear, childlike voice rang out behind Su Miao. "All you ever do is pretend!"
Su Ruanruan looked in the direction of the sound and saw Su Miao carrying the small dog's corpse covered in mud as she walked over with an air of dominance.
Su Miao's face turned ashen with anger. "Su Qianqian, what do you mean? You were always going against me when we were little, and now that my older brother has taken pity on you and let you come back, you're still going against me? Do you even know what gratitude means?"
Susie glanced at her and said disdainfully, "You said it yourself, it was my elder brother who took pity on me and let me come back, not you. I should be more grateful to Ruan Ruan than to you!"
As she spoke, she threw the puppy's body on the ground. "This puppy was beaten to death by Su Miao. Her crying here was all an act."
"You're talking nonsense!" Su Miao was so angry that tears were about to come out. "The dog didn't have a single wound on it, so how can you say that I killed it? What evidence do you have?"
Although Su Xixi was two years younger than Su Miao, she was in no way inferior to her in terms of aura. She tilted her head slightly and glanced at Su Miao, "Do you know that there is a kind of injury called internal injury?"
As she spoke, she reached out her snow-white little hand and parted the long fur on the puppy's body, revealing the puppy's bruised skin.
Then, she reached out her hand to Su Lei, who had been silently following her.
Su Lei hesitated, glanced at Su Miao, then at Su Qianqian, and whispered, "Qianqian, how about we just let it go?"
Susie rarely argued with him, and she snatched the fruit knife directly from his hand.
Before anyone could react, he knelt down and cut open the puppy's belly.
The blood inside the puppy's stomach had congealed, turning into a sticky mess, making it impossible to discern the original appearance of its internal organs.
Su Yiqing quickly covered Su Ruanruan's eyes, frowned, and said, "Take the dog away!"
The maid standing nearby was also terrified and carefully took the dog and the fruit knife from Susie's hand to deal with them.
Susie removed the surgical gloves she had just put on. "See? This puppy's belly is full of blood. That's because its internal organs ruptured. If I'm not mistaken, you killed the puppy by throwing it to its death."
"No, no..." Su Miao hurriedly explained, "I didn't mean to kill the puppy. It came to lick me, and I was scared, so I accidentally knocked it away, and it crashed into the wall..."
"Sister Miaomiao, you're afraid of puppies and don't like them, so why did you agree to keep it?" Su Ruanruan said sullenly, "Actually, if you had told me you didn't like dogs, I would have kept it myself."
Su Miao obediently put her little hands behind her back, lowered her head, and said pitifully, "Because...because I thought that if we raised the puppy together, you would like me, and if you liked me, my brother would like me again."
At this moment, Su Xixi snorted coldly and turned to walk towards the small building where they lived.
Su Lei glanced at Su Yiqing and Su Ruanruan, then at Su Qianqian's retreating figure, and hurriedly chased after Su Qianqian.
"Big brother, I want to go and say a few words to Sister Qianqian, is that okay?" Su Ruanruan's voice still had that dull feeling from being sad, which made Su Yiqing feel particularly sorry for her.
Su Yiqing nodded, put her down, and after she ran far away, he looked at Su Miao with his cold gaze, "Come with me."
Su Ruanruan wiggled her short legs and quickly caught up with Su Qianqian, who had slowed down.
"Sister Qianqian." Her soft, sweet voice made Su Qianqian stop in her tracks.
Su Xixi snapped out of her daze, looked down at her with feigned aloofness, and asked, "You want to see me?"
"Sister, how do you know the puppy was killed by Sister Miaomiao, and why did you cut open the puppy's belly?" Su Ruanruan looked at Su Qianqian with her big eyes, which seemed to be twinkling like stars.
