"Russians, go back!"
Suddenly, a stern rebuke was heard.
The huge Tibetan mastiff landed in front of her, staring at her and letting out a somewhat unwilling howl.
But they still slowly retreated.
Su Ruanruan's small hand, which was covered by her eyes, peeked out through a crack, and she secretly opened her eyes to look at the situation outside.
Seeing the fierce Tibetan mastiff standing obediently behind Gu Chen, she breathed a sigh of relief and took her two little hands off her eyes.
"Brother Gu Chen, you've been discharged from the hospital?" he asked happily, patting his chest with lingering fear. "Luckily I ran into you here, otherwise I might have been bitten to death by this big dog."
Gu Chen frowned as he looked at her.
This child was almost torn to pieces by the Russians, yet he didn't even cry. He's quite brave.
She recalled how, during her last kidnapping, she not only remained calm but also somewhat excited, devising the traps to capture the two kidnappers.
For the first time, I found this four-year-old toddler quite interesting.
He glanced at Su Xixi, who was standing next to him, completely stunned. "Su Yiqing really lets you two kids come out to play alone?"
"I..." Su Ruanruan was about to explain when she heard Su Qianqian's angry voice from the side, "You're the child, your whole family are children."
A hint of impatience flashed in Gu Chen's deep eyes as he said to the man beside him, "Uncle Zhong, take them back to Su Yiqing's place."
"Yes, young master," the man whom Gu Chen called Uncle Zhong replied respectfully.
He then walked over to Su Ruanruan and said, "Miss, let's go. I'll take you home."
Su Ruanruan looked at Gu Chen with pleading eyes, "Brother Gu Chen, those two little kittens..."
"I'll handle it." Gu Chen replied coldly and went straight into the villa.
Helpless, Su Ruanruan and Su Qianqian had Uncle Zhong take them back to their villa.
As soon as they arrived at the villa's gate, Ah Xiang, who was already terrified, rushed out and hugged Su Ruanruan tightly. "Miss, Miss Qianqian, where have you been? You scared me to death!"
Su Ruanruan felt a little guilty and gently patted A Xiang's back with her chubby little hand. "I'm sorry, Aunt A Xiang. My sister took me out to see the kittens, and I forgot to say hello to you."
After thanking Uncle Zhong profusely, Ah Xiang carried her back to the villa.
Su Ruanruan sat obediently on the sofa, swinging her little legs, but holding her face in her hands, looking worried.
"Ruan Ruan, what are you thinking about?" Su Xixi sat down next to her and asked in confusion.
"I'm wondering if those two kittens will be eaten by that big dog?" Su Ruanruan's chubby little face scrunched up like a bun. "That big dog is so big and fierce, I think it could probably swallow me whole."
Su Xixi frowned, looking left and right, and noticed that Ah Xiang was busy in the kitchen. She gently moved next to Su Ruanruan, whispered in her ear, "Why don't we go take another look?"
Su Ruanruan glanced at A Xiang, who was busy in the kitchen, and said with a troubled expression, "Isn't this a bad idea? What if my brother and the others come back later and see that we're not here? They'll blame Aunt A Xiang."
Susie patted her on the shoulder, "Don't worry, we'll just take a look and come right back."
Su Ruanruan bit her lip and thought it over and over, finally making up her mind, "Okay, we'll just go take a look and come right back."
Taking advantage of Ah Xiang's inattention, the two quietly slipped out of the villa.
Meanwhile, when Uncle Zhong returned to the Gu family villa, Gu Chen was standing on the second-floor balcony, gazing into the distance.
"Have you sent those two girls back yet?" Gu Chen asked.
"Hmm." Uncle Zhong responded, then looked at Gu Chen's small figure with some worry. "Young Master, have you really decided to cooperate with the Su family?"
"Yes, the Su family is the best choice," Gu Chen replied calmly, his tone devoid of any childishness expected of someone his age.
"Let's deal with those two Tibetan mastiffs," Gu Chen said, looking at the two small figures that had sneaked back over the wall.
Uncle Zhong followed his gaze and saw the two little figures.
When Su Ruanruan and Su Qianqian, the two little bundles of joy, secretly returned, the two kittens were no longer in their original places.
Susie was a little disappointed. "Ruanruan, the kitten has probably already been eaten by that big dog."
She turned to look at Su Ruanruan, only to find that Su Ruanruan's gaze wasn't searching for the kitten at all, but rather peering into the villa.
She followed Su Ruanruan's gaze with some curiosity and looked inside. "Ruanruan, what are you looking for?"
When the little dumpling met her questioning gaze, she quickly looked away. "No, I wasn't looking for anything."
Susie herself hadn't seen anything either, so she took the little dumpling's hand and said, "Never mind, we can't find the kitten, let's go back."
Just then, the little dumpling pointed with its chubby little hand to a small wooden house inside the wall and said, "There it is, the kitten is there."
"Hey, this little cabin wasn't here when we came."
"It's probably a home that Brother Gu Chen just prepared for the kitten."
"Alright, the kitten has a home now. Let's hurry back, or it won't be good if my brother or Ah Xiang finds out."
The two quickly held hands and ran towards their villa.
Su Ruanruan originally wanted to find an opportunity to ask her older brother about Gu Chen's situation.
But the thought that if she told her older brother that she had seen Gu Chen, he would know that they had almost been bitten by Gu Chen's Tibetan Mastiff, and he might blame Gu Chen.
