From the third floor to the ground floor, and even as she passed by the jewelry counter where Qin Huan was selecting jewelry, Su Xixi did not shed a single tear, nor did she glance at Qin Huan again.

Little Ruanruan looked down at her sister's tear-streaked face without saying a word.

Little Ruanruan looked up, her big, bright eyes meeting Gu Chen's gaze. "Brother Gu Chen, do you know why Brother Qin Huan did this?"
Gu Chen gently rubbed Xiao Ruanruan's head and then scooped her into his arms. "I know, but I don't think he deserves to be forgiven."
Little Ruanruan frowned and asked, "Brother Gu Chen, if you were Brother Qin Huan, what would you do?"
Gu Chen raised an eyebrow slightly. "It's very simple. Uncle Qin's third and fourth uncles have never been clean in the past. Qin Huan already has evidence against them. Just send that evidence to the police, and the police will handle the rest."
Qin Huan did not take the proper channels to hand over the evidence to the police, but even if that evidence were to be brought to light, the Qin family would suffer a severe blow, and might even be unable to recover.

Before Gu Chen could even grab her, she had already scurried to the living room door with her short legs. "Brother Gu Chen, big brother is here to pick me up. I'm going back now. I'll come find you to play again tomorrow!"
As soon as Xiao Ruanruan finished speaking, Su Yiqing scooped her up and held her in his arms.
A soft, white, round hand obediently waved goodbye to Gu Chen.
