Su Xiaowu instantly wore an expression as if she had eaten shit, glaring at Su Yan with a mixture of anger and rage.
Su Yan crossed his arms, raised his head, and looked smug. "You can't beat me either!"
Su Ruanruan looked at Su Yan and then at Su Xiaowu, who was clenching her fists in anger.
The chubby little hands covered her forehead, "..."
"You wait!" After holding it in for a long time, Su Xiaowu finally managed to utter three words before running upstairs.
Su Ruanruan: "Fourth brother, is it really okay for you to provoke the little brother like this?"
“There’s nothing wrong with that. He has to have some special skills. Since he likes fighting, let him fight.” Su Yan said as he scooped up the little dumpling.
Su Ruanruan thought about it and realized that made sense.
But she never expected that for more than ten years after that day, her family's Sanda instructor and sparring partner would come and go, until seventeen years later, when her older brother tied the boxing champion's gold belt around her waist.
Su Yan didn't bother to care about Su Xiaowu's feelings. He simply carried the little dumpling into his study, put her down, and then started rummaging through the room.
Just as the little girl's eyes were starting to dazzle from following him around the study, she saw him pull out a crumpled piece of paper from behind the drum set, then rummage through all the drawers and found a pen.
Then, he simply lay down on the desk and started writing furiously.
After finishing writing, he signed his name in a flamboyant manner and handed the paper to Su Ruanruan.
Upon reading the contents, Su Ruanruan couldn't help but sigh. Her eldest and fourth brothers were indeed brothers, as the contents of the unequal treaties they signed with her were almost identical, including things like needing her brother's permission to find a boyfriend and always standing on her brother's side if her boyfriend had a conflict with her brother.
However, her fourth brother's handwriting was truly... appalling. Apart from his elegant and unique name, the rest of his characters looked like dog scratches, and couldn't compare to her eldest brother's neat and powerful handwriting.
Su Yan rummaged around again and found a box of inkpads. He placed it in front of the little dumpling and said, "Ruan Ruan, come here and make your fourth brother's handprint as a souvenir!"
Su Ruanruan couldn't help but look at him with disdain. Fourth brother, is it really okay for you to deceive a child like this?
Although she felt helpless, she obediently pressed her fingerprint on the crumpled paper to make her brother happy.
Su Yan, as if he had found a treasure, smoothed out the paper, folded it neatly, and put it into the safe.
She shook her head helplessly once again, said something to Su Yan, and then walked out of his study, which contained no books other than sheet music.
As she went downstairs, she ran into Su Yiqing seeing Gu Chen off. She quickly ran over and asked, "Brother Gu Chen, are you leaving?"
"Mm." Gu Chen nodded with a cool and aloof air.
Su Ruanruan waved her little hand, "Goodbye, Brother Gu Chen! Remember to visit my house often!"
"Okay." Gu Chen replied, not even giving her a second glance, and got into the Maybach and left.
As she watched the Maybach's exhaust fumes disappear into the distance, she felt a strange sense of loss.
Su Yiqing looked at her appearance, then at Gu Chen's car that had disappeared at the intersection, and a deeper look appeared in her usually cold eyes.
Gu Chen sat in the car, his eyes fixed on the rearview mirror until the small figure in the mirror disappeared.
"Uncle Zhong, find out if there are any houses for sale near the Su family villa. Let's buy one and move here."
"Yes, young master."
"Find out where the Su siblings go to school, and enroll me in their school too. The fifth child in the Su family seems to be the same age as me, so I'll be in the same class as him!"
Uncle Zhong was slightly taken aback.
Now that his young master has become close to the Su family and wants to move to live nearby, he can barely understand it.
But the little master has to go to school...
It should be noted that Gu Chen had already completed university courses through self-study when he was six years old, and based on what he had learned, he could easily have obtained degrees in four or five different majors.
So, he hasn't been in school for the past two years; instead, he's been learning how to manage a business.
It was precisely because of this that, after the old man, the gentleman, the old lady, and the lady suddenly encountered such an incident, the young master was able to quickly take up the banner of the Gu family, which had almost collapsed.
But now, the little master actually says he's going to primary school, which Uncle Zhong just can't understand at all.
Although he couldn't understand it, Uncle Zhong thought about it again and realized that it was a good thing.
After all, the young master has shouldered too many responsibilities at such a young age, so much so that he has lost all the innocence that a child should have and can no longer be seen smiling.
If I could go to school and spend more time with my peers, I might be happier.
Gu Chen didn't think that much about it. His idea was simple: he would protect his wife as she grew up.
After seeing Gu Chen off, Su Ruanruan returned to her room and frowned at the various shades of cherry blossom pink in the walk-in closet.
She really doesn't like pink or princess dresses, but her brothers all have a princess complex and feel that as their little princess, she should wear pink and cute princess dresses.
"Miss, we need to hurry, or we'll be late for Sister Mo'er's house!"
Ah Xiang couldn't help but urge him on from the side.
Meanwhile, Su Xixi, who was mooching snacks and storybooks in her room, couldn't help but say, "Little Ruanruan, the only difference between your princess dresses is that they're a little darker or lighter in color, and the embellishments have changed from bows to different colored gemstones or diamonds. Is it really necessary to spend so much time choosing them?"
Su Ruanruan closed her eyes, grabbed a piece of clothing at random, and handed it to A Xiang, saying, "This one will do!"
