Chapter 107 No Room for Reversal

I remember back in school, Yun Yao didn't come from a noble family, so she ate and used the most ordinary things and was often bullied.

When she first met her, she was being pulled by several women, and her clothes were torn in several places. She saw a birthmark that looked very similar to her own. It was because of this four-petaled flower birthmark that she became good friends with Yun Yao.

She never expected that Lu Suisui, the daughter of the Lu family, also had this birthmark. What a coincidence!

Lu Ci noticed her touching her right shoulder and her flustered look. He stared intently at her right shoulder. What was there?

Could there be other birthmarks with the same four petals?

He poured a glass of water, walked over to Ji Fuying, handed the water to her, and gently patted her back.

In the end, he managed to suppress the urge to lift her collar and returned to his seat.

"Fuying, you can't tell anyone what you just heard. Just pretend I never came to see you today, okay?"

Ji Fuying nodded blankly. Lu Ci, being such a smart person, must have seen through something, but he chose to keep it from her. There must be some hidden story behind this.

"Yes, this is a family matter of the Lu family. It's normal that you don't want it to be spread. I won't tell anyone."

"Okay, I'll take you back to your company."

Ji Fuying was about to refuse, since she had driven there, but when she looked down at her still trembling hands, she realized she probably couldn't drive.

"Okay, thank you for your help."

Downstairs at the Ji Group building.

Ji Fuying said goodbye to Lu Ci, then went into the building and returned to her office.

Lu Ci stood there blankly, his eyes filled with complex emotions; things seemed to be getting more and more complicated.

He didn't get into his car and return to the company until Ji Fuying's figure was completely out of sight.

The CEO's office on the top floor.

Ji Yan dropped the telescope in his hand, and a hint of hostility gradually crept onto his face.

Half an hour ago.

Xingchu sent him a picture; she was queuing for a meal at a very famous restaurant, but it seemed like the restaurant had been booked out.

He opened the picture and glanced at it casually. Just as he was about to scroll away, a familiar figure in the photo caught his eye.

The woman sitting in the chair with a sad expression was actually Yingying, and Lu Ci was standing behind her, patting her back as if to comfort her.

She didn't say she was going to have dinner with Xu Nuo and the others; it turned out she was lying to him. She was actually going to be with Lu Ci.

With a loud crash, the glass on the coffee table shattered, and the well-defined hand was covered in blood.

Ignoring the pain, he picked up his phone, found Ji Fuying's number, and sent her a message.

"Did you finish eating with Xu Nuo and the others?"

Less than a minute later, she replied, "Okay, I've finished eating and I'm back in the office."

Ji Fuying didn't really want to deceive Ji Yan, but she didn't have the right to reveal the Lu family's affairs. Another reason was that she was afraid Ji Yan would misunderstand, so she simply didn't tell him that she had met Lu Ci.

Looking at the message on his phone, Ji Yan's eyes narrowed sharply. He lied to Lu Ci for her sake. Fine, really fine.

When Ji Fuying returned to the villa that evening, it was already brightly lit, and a sly glint flashed in her eyes.

She's been keeping Ji Yan waiting for a long time, so why not let him indulge himself tonight? Otherwise, he's really going to get pent up.

She changed her shoes in the entryway. He didn't seem to be in the living room. Could it be that he was already waiting for her in the room, as if they were telepathically connected?

She tiptoed, wanting to surprise the man, and gently turned the bedroom doorknob before going inside.

The bedroom was filled with smoke, which almost choked her to death, but ignoring her discomfort, she still walked towards the man on the sofa.

Something must have happened, otherwise he wouldn't be like this.

"Ji Yan." She snatched the cigarette from the man's hand and sat down beside him. "What's wrong with you? Why are you smoking so much?"

The man looked at her expressionlessly, then cupped her cheeks and kissed her.

Ji Fuying thought it was because he had been holding back for too long that he was so repressed, so she took the initiative to hug his firm back and kiss him back passionately.

Ji Yan deepened the kiss, his eyes burning with intense passion.

She has never taken the initiative before, and even yesterday she was unwilling to let him touch her. Is she acting like this now because she feels guilty?

He carried the woman to the bed and got straight to the point without saying a word. Ji Fuying responded to him eagerly.

Suddenly, the man smiled and asked mockingly in her ear, "Tell me, is my technique better, or Lu Ci's technique better?"

In that instant, Ji Fuying felt as if she had fallen into a frozen wasteland, her whole body trembling with cold, and her heart aching so much that she could hardly breathe.

She grabbed Ji Yan's arm, stopping him from doing anything further, and asked absentmindedly, "What did you say? Say it again."

"Am I not good enough for you? You actually went to Lu Ci. I will never show you any mercy again."

After saying that, he pressed her hand down on her head and, ignoring her pleas, began a brutal and inhumane venting of his anger. Ji Fuying didn't know how she got through the entire night.

Around eight o'clock, Ji Yan finally left, and she struggled to get out of bed, a tearing pain shooting through her.

She smiled faintly, sitting there with her hair disheveled, like a broken doll that had lost its color.

“I was wrong, I was really wrong. I knew from the beginning that being with him was a mistake, so why did I still recklessly try to gamble? Ji Yan, you won, but I lost completely.”

After getting dressed and wanting to leave, she opened the door only to find the villa surrounded by bodyguards. Was Ji Yan trying to imprison her?
