Chapter 411 Simple Injury

The cowshed was hidden by a simple yard, and it was easy to miss from the direction of the village if you didn't look carefully.

The two of them rushed over, and just as they rounded Jane's door, their expressions suddenly changed, and they abruptly stopped. Even Jane couldn't help but want to swear.

"Holy crap! So many? Who stirred up a wild boar's den?"

Lin Dongfang's face darkened further. He had been planning to investigate quietly before telling his wife, but what if something really went wrong...?

Moreover, if this herd of wild boars were to enter the village, the consequences would be unimaginable.

"Don't just stand there, this is going to be a fierce battle!"

"Wait!"

He quickly turned and jumped over his own wall. Three seconds later, he threw a machete out from inside, then jumped out again, grabbing one for himself.

"Quick, we have to hold out until the arrival of the others!"

Two figures walked towards the cowshed, one after the other.

The two people were startled by the wild boar, but they reacted quickly and turned around to look for weapons.

However, one was sickly and barely dared to breathe, while the other limped along; their fighting strength was minimal, and they were truly no match for the starving wild boar.

In a flurry of dodging and weaving, the area outside the cowshed was a complete mess in just a short while. Nobody cared about anyone else; they threw whatever they could find—stones, buckets, tripping stones—anything they could get their hands on.

The chipped and rusty kitchen knife in his hand left only a shallow mark on the wild boar, which enraged the boar. It roared and raised its front hooves high, ready to smash down.

The man, enduring the pain, dragged his injured leg and rolled to the ground, dodging the hoof in front of him. However, he did not expect what was behind him. Just as he regained his balance, panting, two fangs appeared in front of him, along with a stench that assaulted his senses.

The struggle had exhausted him, and now he could only stare wide-eyed as the tusks drew closer and closer. Finally, a huge pig's head loomed before his eyes, and the tusks trembled in his presence.

At the last moment, he was so shocked and frightened that he successfully passed out from the fumes.

The next second, a large knife swept across the back of the wild boar's neck, and then a warm, foul-smelling liquid splattered all over his face. His massive body was then kicked aside and crashed heavily to the ground.

"How is that person?"

Lin Dongfang was dealing with the wild boar in front, then Jian Dan stood up again to face the wild boar that was rushing at him from behind, and shouted loudly,

"It's nothing, he just fainted. Go find the other person."

"I'm fine, please be careful."

The sound came from behind the woodpile in front. From the faint sound, it was clear that it was the old man who resembled Cheng Jia. It seemed that he was aware of his own abilities and did not try to show off.

Without any restraint, the two of them went all out, but they were still flustered and attacked from all sides. They simply wanted to find an opportunity to slip the stun gun out, but they couldn't find one.

Soon, both of them felt sore in their hands and feet, and their movements became sluggish.

Simple strength is great, but it can't withstand the thick skin and meat of wild boars. They are numerous and run around everywhere. You have to keep an eye on them and not let them run out of the area. If you can't hit their vital spot, it will take a lot of time and effort.

Lin Dongfang has some skill and decent stamina, but he's still an amateur. His record isn't as good as Jian's, but he still relieved a lot of pressure.

Seeing a dark figure approaching from the direction of the village in the distance, Jian Dan felt a sense of relief.

"Someone's here! Someone's here!"

"real?"

In her frustration, she was caught off guard when a wild boar charged at her. She rolled to the ground, narrowly avoiding being crushed to death by the large boar, but she was not spared. The heavy hoof still struck her back, and she couldn't help but groan. She felt as if her internal organs were being churned up, and her whole body was numb with pain for a long time.

Lin Dongfang also killed the wild boar with a single stroke, staggered a few steps, and was then blocked by a piglet. He could only greet it from afar.

How are you?

I simply wanted to reach out and tell him that everything was alright, but I couldn't even lift my hand.

Seeing the crowd rushing over, Lin Dongfang seemed to regain a lot of strength, and he swung his machete even faster.

"Hurry, Jian Dan is injured!"

After the child finished speaking, Liu Weimin urgently asked Lao Han to bring the militia over. He led the men to organize the villagers to gather. The educated youth compound also heard the bell, and when they came out, they saw a small figure standing at the door of the Lin family's house in the distance.

It's winter now, and the bell is ringing so urgently, almost like the time they heard gunshots a few days ago. Several male educated youths sensed something was wrong, so they went to meet with Cheng An first.

As a result, the two groups arrived at the location almost simultaneously.

This situation needs no explanation. People like Ling Weidong, Qian Cheng, Yuan Ye, and Gu Jianjun, who are somewhat skilled, naturally rushed forward immediately, and Lao Han led a few others to join them.

Chen Jing, Li Guang, and several villagers quickly helped Jian Dan up. Jian Dan's chest, back, and internal organs felt like they were on fire, and even the slightest movement caused excruciating pain.

"Slow down, slow down,"

Li Guang was quick on his feet. He grabbed a few bundles of firewood and placed them behind her. With just those few movements, he was in so much pain that he broke out in a sweat.

After pausing for a moment, he pointed to two spots to the side.

"Those two people are over there, still alive."

Lin Dongfang's sudden burst of energy just now clearly lacked staying power, and he quickly became powerless.

The militia members had all hunted in the mountains before, and with several of them working together, they could hold off one or two enemies.

Ling Weidong and his group were all young and strong, with little experience, but they were fast, adaptable, and quick to find the knack, becoming more and more courageous in battle.

By the time Liu Weimin had organized the villagers and rushed over, it was already the end of the event.

The two children followed, and immediately spotted Jian Dan sitting to one side, and pounced on her instantly.

"Sis! Are you hurt?"

"Sis, where are you hurt? Does it hurt?"

Jian Dan rarely gets sick, and they had never seen her so weak before. Her face was completely bloodless, and her lips were deathly pale.

The two children's eyes immediately reddened, and their eyes were filled with hostility.

"It's nothing, it's nothing. Why did you all come here? Come here quickly, let me see if you were scared."

There were still three wild boars alive. Although each cut wasn't fatal, they had become very agitated after so long. Old Han, who was standing nearby, was caught off guard and kicked two or three meters away.

Cheng Rui's face was tense, his eyes filled with murderous intent as he stared at the wild boar. Cheng An seemed to sense something, glanced up, paused briefly, then turned to comfort Jian Dan.

"Sister, lean back and rest for a while. We'll be going home soon."

Jian Dan seemed to have a slight fever and her mind was a bit foggy, but she didn't think too much about it.

"good."

The remaining three wild boars were also cornered and forced to run wildly by a group of people, with no discernible pattern.

"Come on, let's put in a little more effort. That young girl risked getting injured and killed most of them, but she didn't let a single one in. She only left us with these few. We absolutely cannot let them enter the village and harm our fellow villagers. Can we do that?"
