Seeing the obvious unspoken understanding among the four of them, while he alone remained in the dark, Cheng Chao grew increasingly suspicious.

"Confess now!"
The group of people immediately shuddered.
Lin Dongfang glanced at Jian Dan, then at the child, and finally at the silent Cheng Chao, before weakly raising his hand.
"Should I go first?"
Seeing that no one spoke, Lin Dongfang could only begin silently.
"Well, something happened to Zhuzhu's family, but I couldn't find out where they were sent. I only recently heard that Grandpa didn't make it, and Uncle Ming was transferred here after a lot of moving. I suspect that the one with the leg problems is Uncle Ming."
Cheng Chao frowned.
"Grandpa Ming is gone?"

Cheng An was quick to speak, summarizing it simply in one sentence.
"The other person in the cowshed looks a bit like the old man in the photo at my home."

"Who is in the photo? Some people look alike, so how did you determine that?"
"Our uncle, my dad says he's his older brother."
The eyes and ears are exactly the same as in the photo.
Cheng Chao was dumbfounded.
"What the heck? What the heck? Who do you think it looks like?"
"My grandpa,"
Cheng Rui was anxious on the side.
"Brother, isn't our uncle your father?"
Cheng Chao jumped up, causing the chair to tip over and tilt backward a few times before coming to a stop.
"That's impossible, you two must have seen wrong,"
The three children looked completely innocent. They weren't sure themselves, but something felt off, which is why they were paying extra attention.
Lin Dongfang was also dumbfounded.
He knew the Cheng family and was aware of Cheng Jia's situation, so he was quite surprised to hear this.

One minute they're being told to pour water, the next they're being told to roast chestnuts. With their hands full, the two children have no time to think about anything else.
After lying in bed for several days, Jian Dan's bones were completely stiff. Even the slightest movement was painful, and she could occasionally hear cracking sounds when she stretched her arms and legs. Her two children teased her about it.
"Sis, are you going to grow taller?"
Jian Dan's height has finally increased humbly, probably reaching 1.65 meters. Although long legs are out of the question, it's at least at the average height, and Jian Dan is reasonably satisfied.
