Qin Qinghuai kept a straight face. He wasn't sure if any of his accomplices were around. The market was full of people, and he wasn't sure if something would happen.
However, this incident did affect the atmosphere to some extent. Many people hurriedly bought and sold their goods, then left with their baskets on their backs.
Qin Qinghuai surveyed the surroundings with a cold gaze, but didn't find anything unusual for the time being. However, he didn't dare to relax. He grabbed Da Huzi, who was tied up like a dumpling, with one hand and held Jian Dan's hand with the other, and prepared to walk back.

Two soldiers came running from the market entrance, panting. They glanced at the scene; it looked rather miserable, but they still went forward.

Upon arriving at the entrance of the family compound, Qin Qinghuai gave Jian Dan a long series of instructions before letting her go back. Watching her figure disappear into the compound, he then turned and walked towards the barracks with the things he had bought that day.
She hadn't been very active, and she knew her own body well, but since she was pregnant, Jian Dan immediately lay down to rest as soon as she got home, gently stroking her lower abdomen and talking softly.
It wasn't surprising that Qin Qinghuai didn't return at noon. Qin Qinghuai gritted his teeth, unwilling to speak, and after holding it in for a long time...

The more he did this, the more curious I became about Simplicity.
