Task 2: Steal the protagonist's clothes
[Task Two: The cannon fodder Alpha thought the protagonist's things looked high-class. Early in the morning, System 233 announced to Wei Jiangxue the tasks to be completed that day.

Using her family as a starting point, Wei Jiangxue confirmed that the system, the Transmigration Bureau, and the tasks they assigned were all real.
Now, she should focus on completing today's tasks and return to her family as soon as possible to be with them.
Wei Jiangxue mustered her courage and opened the door to Mi Rui'an's room next door.

The velvet on the box had a delicate feel, and Wei Jiangxue could tell at a touch that it was the most common container on the market for storing rings, necklaces, and other items.
Wei Jiangxue thought for a moment and took the box furthest from the cabinet door so that she could put it back together later.
Nothing thrilling or exciting happened during the mission, and Wei Jiangxue carried her clothes and jewelry box back to her room.
The piece of jewelry she received was a ring. Judging from the shape it felt, the ring should have a large main stone, but Wei Jiangxue couldn't see how sparkly or beautiful it was.
Wei Jiangxue picked up the sweater and put it on her underwear, then slipped the ring onto her index finger.
She muttered to herself, "Don't blame me, I'm sorry, I'll send this cannon fodder back after the mission is complete..."
Stealing is quite a morally questionable act for Wei Jiangxue, but she ultimately chose to do it. Nothing is more important than going home, so Wei Jiangxue went against her conscience and bullied the protagonist.

Because it was still during most people's work or school hours, there wasn't much of a crowd when Wei Jiangxue arrived with her cane.
She took the opportunity to sit on the swing that was usually occupied by children.
Wei Jiangxue planned to play for only a short while before returning to restore Mi Rui'an's room. She used her toes to push herself and the swing, gripping the swing ropes and her white cane tightly in her hands.
A slightly chilly breeze brushed against her cheeks. Wei Jiangxue kept her eyes open, but still couldn't see clearly ahead. So she simply closed her eyes and pretended that she hadn't gone blind.
Her cheeks were a little stiff from the cold, and Wei Jiangxue knew she should go back.
She sat for a while to recover, rubbed her face, and then stood up and slowly thought about how to get back.
"Wei Jiangxue, what a coincidence, you're here too."
A voice suddenly rang out, catching Wei Jiangxue completely off guard; the other person was less than five meters away from her.

The mission given by 233 didn't mention that the cannon fodder would run into the protagonist head-on this time! She remembered that the protagonist didn't discover that the cannon fodder had stolen her clothes and accessories until much later, so why is it being exposed now?
A wave of guilt and shame washed over Wei Jiangxue, and she felt her face burning. She quietly put her hands behind her back to hide the ring on her index finger, so that Mi Rui'an wouldn't discover anything more.
To everyone's surprise, Mi Rui'an didn't question Wei Jiangxue about the origin of her clothes. Instead, she smiled and asked in a good-natured manner, "Are you planning to go back to your rented room now? Me too, let's go together."
Her tone left no room for refusal, so Wei Jiangxue reluctantly agreed.
After a moment of rapid thought, Wei Jiangxue suddenly realized a possibility—that Mi Rui'an had too many clothes and might have forgotten what she had to wear, which was why she hadn't directly confronted him earlier.
Once this thought crossed her mind, everything seemed to make sense. Wei Jiangxue suddenly felt less guilty, and she pursed her lips as she continued to listen to Mi Rui'an's words beside her.
"I just got off work early today, and I didn't expect to run into you here. Are you out for a walk by yourself?"
