Alexei was carving a frozen apple he had retrieved from outside with ice shards, completely ignoring him as he jumped up and down.
For the first time, Kirill revealed his true nature in front of him, erupting in anger and smashing everything on his desk to pieces:
“Alexei! You planned this all along! Daniel did! And that 'Kazmir' in the secret passage did too! You've been plotting against me from beginning to end! You've never treated me like a brother!”
Alexei held up the jumbled frozen apples in his hand: "Want some, little brother?"
Enraged, Kirill smashed the table where he had placed the apples and left.
The only frozen apple that escaped the disaster was held in Alexei's hand. He watched Kirill's departing figure and smiled: "A child who hasn't grown up, pampered by his mother."
Alexei lowered his eyes and looked at the apple: "It's okay, you'll eat it eventually."

On the eve of the ball, Alexei arrived at the dungeon.
This place was originally a wine cellar, later converted into a dungeon, but many flawed and substandard semi-finished products from the winery remained here, giving the air a perpetually sour smell of fermenting grapes.
Alexei walked into a cell where Daniel, covered in blood, was bound to a cross.
His hands were still suspended, and the areas where his wrists were bound were bloody and mangled. This was due to the long period of binding and the struggles he had endured during the torture.
Alexei slowly poured the salt water from his head, as if he were a gardener tending to flowers, drenching every wound on his body.
"Ahhhhhh..."
Heart-wrenching screams echoed through the dungeon, the stench of blood mingling with the astringency of wine.
Alexei felt as if he heard a beautiful, rustling sound.
Daniel's throat was already hoarse. He struggled to open his eyes and, through the bloodstains before him, tried to see who was coming.
"Young Master..."
Alexei sighed: "Daniel, your voice is even worse than Andrei's."
Andrei was Alexei's pet.
