"669.99, and I'll also take a box of these beef rolls. It'll be a little over a hundred. I heard Teacher Mi likes beef," Nian Jingliu said, and Nian Tujin nodded.
Someone popped up in the comments:

Hua Changle said tactfully,
"I think we should set aside some money first, find Teacher Liang and the others, and check with them to see if we need anything else. Once we're sure we don't need anything, then we can buy these optional items."
“That makes sense!” Nian Tujin immediately agreed.

After Nian Tujin finished complaining, Nian Jingliu coughed twice.

I was so angry I almost laughed. All I could see on the screen was my own狰狞 (zhengning, meaning ferocious or hideous) face. I really wanted to rush in and bite them!
Sisters, stay calm, don't let your brother get into trouble!
Liang Chengyu and his companion failed to notice anything amiss in Nian Tujin's tone, and instead asked:
"Why are you taking so long? We've been paying for ages! Hurry up and pay so we can go home!"
Nian Jingliu's vision went black. He clenched his fists to suppress the urge to curse, managing only a forced smile:
"Teacher Liang, let's not rush. Let's check if we have everything we bought. If something is missing, we can't make another trip, can we?"
Liang Chengyu thought it made sense, so he pushed the cart forward and said, "Here, everything should be complete."
Nian Jingliu looked at the car full of stuff, then at the people who had no intention of helping, and felt annoyed.
Hua Changle already roughly knew what was inside. He lowered his head and pretended to fiddle with it a couple of times before starting to count on his fingers:
"We didn't buy salt, rice, flour, toothpicks, tissues, drinks, or any seasonings like scallions, ginger, and garlic, not even cooking wine for marinating the fish..."
Brother Qiao said he's good at cola chicken wings, so we bought some, but there's no cola here. Also, the cutlery in the cabin isn't enough; we'll have to buy a few more sets.
The Nian Jingliu siblings didn't hide the fact that their faces were dark.
Liang Chengyu and Mi Youyou were a little embarrassed, and they covered it up by saying, "Oh dear, look at me! My brain is fried. I haven't cooked in so long that I'm missing a few little things!"
[Salt: You're the little thing! Your whole family is little! You're small in every way!]
