The vines coiled around the large fish, devouring it and feeding back the fish's energy to Chang Le.
Afterwards, Chang Le kicked the carcass of the big fish back into the sea and turned to look at the long and winding coastline.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The ground suddenly shook, as if something enormous was approaching.
Chang Le looked closely and saw dozens of huge walruses crawling out from behind the undulating rocks.
The lead male walrus was over five meters long, and its heavy body caused the ground to tremble with every movement. The dozens of female walruses beside it were also around three meters long.
Walruses are social animals, typically living in a family consisting of a male leader and dozens or even hundreds of females.
Judging from the energy fluctuations of these walruses as they move, resonating with the land, one can tell that they have mutated into a different species.
Male walruses are very territorial. If a human approaches, the leading male walrus will gather the strongest members of the herd to hunt them down.
Chang Le's teeth ached from looking at it.
Too big and too many. If we could just kill the male leader, it would be easy, but that would be too taxing. If we encountered other powerful alien species or enemies, we would surely die.
Chang Le didn't fight hard; he used his feet to gain momentum and charged forward!
The male walrus suddenly raised its body, swung its upper body, and its heavy, hard head with huge tusks slashed down like two giant scimitars.
Chang Le used his footing to slide forward, leaned back to dodge, and immediately circled around the walrus's back. The vines condensed into a thorn and stabbed out, leaving a bloody hole.
The walrus let out a mournful cry and twisted its body in a fierce counterattack. Its massive tusks and trailing tail swept in a circle, startling the surrounding female walruses who retreated in panic. The semi-circular encirclement that had been formed suddenly broke!
Chang Le didn't linger. The vine wrapped around the walrus's neck, taking her with it. The walrus's head tried to wrap around as well, but couldn't. By the time it changed direction and turned around, Chang Le had already run through the gap towards the rocky cliff.
Chang Le flew up to the mountain rock, and the whole herd of walruses below cried out repeatedly but were powerless to help.
Chang Le recalled the map and headed towards the location of the target item.
She walked along the edge of the cliff, with jagged, towering mountains on one side and a near-vertical precipice of rocks on the other. The cold wind howled, and frost clung to the mountains, making the path difficult, but nothing could stop her.
The horns of a different species of cliff-hanging ibex, the salt oil fruit unique to the Andasaya Mountains, and the Loropetalum chinense that grows on steep cliffs.
One end of the vine wrapped around the rock at the top of the cliff, and the other end wrapped around Chang Le's waist.
Chang Le, who had been soaking in the sea until he turned white, is now covered in blood again.
She clung to the cliff face, cutting down the pine trees growing in the crevices. The wound on her right leg reopened from the effort of clinging to the cliff, and blood slid down the slope.
"Hiss..."
Chang Le tensed up, his gaze fixed on the black-patterned silver snake that crawled out from the cracks in the Loropetalum chinense.
A variant, the Loropetalum paraguayense.
Loropetalum itself is poisonous, and it is associated with a venomous snake with black diamond-shaped patterns on its body. The snake venom is extremely potent and can cause death by burning the heart.
A human and a snake stared at each other.
The black snake slowly raised its head, its eye muscles tensed, and Chang Le held his breath, ready with his hands.
at the same time!
The black snake launched itself, baring its fangs, and flew towards Chang Le. Chang Le instantly released the vines and fell straight down, the snake's body grazing his cheek.
The black snake landed on the sharp rock on the other side, watching Chang Le fall off the cliff.
Chang Le plummeted straight down, but in the blink of an eye, he used the vines to brace himself against the mountain wall, turned his head and feet upside down, gathered his energy, and activated his supernatural power. He suspended himself in mid-air.
The sharp, jumbled rocks below were only a few meters from our toes.
In the command center, Li Yunfan smiled upon seeing this: "As expected, he was hiding his cultivation level! Flying through the air, he really is at the eighth level!"
A look of surprise flashed in Qin Ling's eyes: "An eighteen-year-old at the eighth rank, his future... is limitless."
Chang Le landed safely at the bottom of the valley.
She packed her things, looked at the injury on her leg, and found a relatively flat and open place to treat the wound. She had just bent down when...
"Boom—"
The earth trembled, and a deafening roar, as if a body were collapsing, came from not far away.
Chang Le cautiously stood up, supporting himself against the mountain wall.
Two figures were flying at full speed aboard a fiery red pterosaur ahead.
Behind them, two enormous figures, each as large as a small mountain, were locked in fierce combat. When they stumbled, they crashed into the mountainside, causing it to crumble like tofu.
Chang Le's expression changed drastically.
Anstaia Mountains, a forbidden-level alien species.
Ninth Rank, Mountain-Colliding Giant!
"Chang Le?!" Huang Mingfu, atop the fire dragon, waved frantically. "Run—"
And sitting next to him was Lu Jin'an.
Chang Le cursed under his breath, disregarding the energy expenditure, and leaped to dodge.
The three of them darted nearly a kilometer away, avoiding the path of the two fighting giants, and thus escaped death.
The three of them, exhausted and panting, collapsed onto the edge of the cave. Huang Mingfu, also out of breath, comforted the exhausted Fire Dragon Agate, telling it to return to its original world.
Lu Jin'an noticed her leg and reached out to grab her trouser leg: "Your wound has reopened."
Chang Le looked at them with a forced smile: "If those two mountain-ramming giants really catch up, all three of our heads will be blown off!"
Huang Mingfu pursed his lips guiltily and shrank into the corner.
Lu Jin'an glanced at him, reached out to treat Chang Le's wound, and said, "Let him explain!"
Chang Le kicked him: "Little Huang, what's going on?"
Huang Mingfu said with a bitter smile, "I...I just wanted to get the honey made by the earth bear, so I used the stinky flower to lure out the mountain-collision giant to fight the earth bear, so I could take the honey. Who would have thought that the mountain-collision giant was actually a married couple!"
