Chapter 293 Dialogue with Bien; Integration into One

"Someone is waiting for me to come home, I can't keep sleeping."

"So, I broke free from your mental prison, Biein."

The tiny girl stood before the monster that blotted out the sky, her slender figure radiating a unique light, like a pearl or a star on this land of burning embers.

The sound of friction was slow and dull, unlike the sharp and piercing sound before.

Hua Changle looked at it, her heart calmer than ever before: "Biyin, your time is running out."

Because of their shared consciousness, she could clearly sense that Biin's aura was rapidly declining.

After being resurrected with the help of Bee's power, she was caught up in a "nightmare"—Bee's near-death counterattack. The counterattack failed, which meant that Bee's days were numbered.

The consciousness belonging to Biin will completely dissipate, leaving only the strange energy she merged with and the traces of written documents.

Its thoughts and consciousness will not remain in this world that is unfamiliar to it.

Bion emitted that AI-synthesized voice again, this time, its voice was even calmer:

"Calculations show that humans are emotionally vulnerable."

Human nature, greed, can be overcome;

Technology causes destruction; it should be destroyed.

Success rate: 79%.

"The invasion failed, and the reasons remain unsolved."

Bi Yin squeezed out a string of words, and Hua Changle understood their meaning.

She calmly countered, "Then I must ask, in your calculations, did you consider the variable of human emotions?"

Biyin seemed to get stuck, making a few "buzzing" sounds before finally responding:

"Defending territory is in their nature; they will rebel and run away."

“So this is one of the reasons you failed,” Hua Changle laughed.

“In our view, this is not called guarding territory, it is called ‘defending the motherland’.”

"Defend the motherland... Analysis failed... Unsolved."

Hua Changle said, "This is the difference between having emotions and not having emotions."

The reason we risk our lives to fight you is not because you have violated our private rights, but because you have harmed what we want to protect.

Protection is an energy that comes from the human heart.

Bion's enormous single eye opened wide: "Powerful energy."

No, no, no.

Hua Changle chuckled: "The energy of the human heart is not the energy you understand; it is illusory, invisible, and without substance."

It is not some powerful ability in the universe; it is simply the instinct that arose with the birth of humankind.

It is emotion, it is thought, it is proof that we are human.

"The human heart may not necessarily give us the strength to rival the invaders, but it is by no means fragile; it can ensure that our light never goes out."

"As long as you cannot destroy everyone's consciousness, this energy that originates from the heart will never disappear. You will never be able to control this world."

Biin's tentacles moved erratically, some flapping their arms and others stretching outwards, making them seem rather unintelligent.

"I don't understand, I don't understand... civilization, isolation."

Hua Changle countered, "Then how does your civilization continue to exist?"

Bion's enormous purple eyes trembled violently, causing the entire fiery wasteland to shudder.

Its voice became urgent:

"Civilization destroyed...destroyed, territory destroyed, exile, exile, exile..."

"The original civilization has no memory, rejects greed, rejects emotion, and rejects intelligent creation!"

"Absolute control, stable order, overwhelming power, and the mastery of peace..."

From Biyin's fragmented words, Hua Changle could roughly glean the story of a civilization destroyed by factors beyond reason.

Biyin, on the other hand, is like a rootless duckweed wandering in the universe, without the roots of civilization, only an obsession with rejecting the scars of the past.

After speaking, Bee's enormous body trembled violently. At that moment, its massive form began to emit a strange mist, as if it would completely dissipate in the next second.

"Death, death, disappearance..."

Bien's voice also became halting.

Hua Changle watched the collapse of Biyin's consciousness with a detached, indifferent expression; its time had come.

Biin's consciousness form has collapsed by nearly half, and the lower half of the sphere has completely turned into mist.

A waterfall of light, formed from purple mist, cascaded down, and the surrounding burning red wilderness began to turn into a charred black color.

Hua Changle shuddered, and suddenly felt a pain in his chest and head.

As Bion collapsed, all of Bion's remaining energy surged into her body and merged with her!

However, her body was already on the verge of death and was too weak. The fusion of energy would inevitably lead to the collapse of her body.

Hua Changle gave a bitter smile.

She didn't know how much time had passed outside, but she could already picture herself lying in a dazed and disheveled state on the hospital bed.

"Chang Le... Lele..."

Hua Changle was startled and suddenly looked up.

Suddenly, Beebe made a sound; it was actually calling her name.

A moment of shock flashed through Hua Changle's mind, and she immediately realized that it was because Bi Yin was mentally connected to her and had twice used mental intrusion on her. During this process, Bi Yin had learned how others addressed her.

Bien was learning how to address her by other people's names.

Seeing her reaction, Bien's voice rang out again: "The mental prison is not an illusion, it is real..."

"What do you mean? What do you mean by illusory reality..."

Hua Changle suddenly realized what was happening, her pupils contracted sharply, and she took two quick steps forward: "You mean everything I saw in the mental prison was real?"
