Chapter 804 The End (The End): Symbol of Civilization; White Light Guiding the Way; Finally Reaching the End of the Galaxy)

"Xiaoxue," Chang Le called her name again.

Hua Zhixue felt that the only regret in her heart had been filled, and she felt extremely relieved.

She noticed that Chang Le's beaded necklace had an extra bead, bringing the total to 21 from 20.

Hua Zhixue felt a pang of heartache and whispered, "Mr. Luo, what about him?"

Chang Le calmly picked up a jade-white bead: "Here it is."

She paused for a moment, then repeated, "They're all here."

A wave of sadness surged in her chest, leaving Hua Zhixue hoarse for a long while before she could finally speak with difficulty:

"Will you... come back?"

There seems to be no one here who makes you want to stay anymore.

Chang Le nodded: "Yes."

Hua Zhixue smiled with relief, took her hand, and said earnestly, "Jiujiu, I am so glad to have met you. Now that I have seen you, I have no regrets. I feel that I have been very, very happy in my life."

Chang Le reached out and gently stroked her hair, his voice soft:

"Sweet dreams, little girl."

Hua Zhixue held a funeral.

At the funeral, a few beautiful snowflakes, like white moons, drifted down on the sweltering summer day, adorning her photograph.

On a high mountain not far away, a woman in white stretched out her pale fingers, and the snow carved a crescent moon on her fingertips before turning into smoke and dust.

She watched the funeral end, then turned around. A grotesque vine and a black mist tentacle stretched out, tearing a crack in space, and her figure disappeared.

At the funeral, Fu Liuyu, the handsome young man standing on the representative position of District Nine, seemed to sense something and turned to look at the mountain peak.

"Liu Yu, what's wrong?" asked another sharp-eyed young man beside him.

This young man is Lu Xuanlang, the current young master of the Wolf Society (formerly known as the Wolf Faction).

Fifteen-year-old Fu Liuyu raised her hand, and translucent silver energy pulsed at her fingertips, while a whistling sound of space compression echoed in front of her.

A look of surprise flashed in his eyes: "Someone just tore open a temporary world portal not far away."

Lu Xuanlang asked in astonishment, "Isn't that the realm of a World Lord? Has Lord Nine Emperors really returned?"

Excitement gleamed in Fu Liuyu's eyes.

He was so close to meeting that important figure from their Dragon Sect!

Whether we look forward to it or not, whether we think about it or not, time marches on irreversibly at its own pace.

But there are always some things that transcend time, or rather, their length is more eternal than time.

One hundred years is enough to witness life from birth to death;

Two hundred years will witness the reconstruction of the world's laws;

Three hundred years have passed, and the past has become a story passed down from generation to generation, as well as a series of moving and inspiring historical events.

Three hundred years later, Yulouguan has stood firm despite several renovations, and the Ninth District still commands the north.

In that place, in the legendary Qianyuan Mountain where gods were said to have been born, there is a pristine land left behind by the Nine Emperors, a place no one can set foot in, burying that time like the dawn of day.

No one knows whether the Nine Emperors, like the Dragon Emperor, protected this world for three hundred years.

Because no one can be sure that the time they saw the Nine Emperors was the last time.

Centuries later, the Nine Emperors seem to have become a symbol, detached from the historical timeline.

He became a force, a symbol of Middle-earth civilization, a spirit representing humanity in an era of natural disasters, flowing in the blood of generation after generation.

Even if this world eventually collapses, its civilization will remain, like a brilliant meteor streaking across the silent depths of the universe, leaving its mark deep within the universe's memory.

...

Those who have come and experienced will be remembered and preserved.

Even though I'm alone, I'm not lonely.

...

It was a nebula like a white jade cloud, with a distant crimson star tinging the blue planets surrounding it.

Chang Le, dressed in white, sat on the nebula, bathed in soft light, gazing at the distant stars that seemed strangely familiar.

She said to Fu Jiu, the only one still awake, "Look at that star, it's beautiful."

Fu Jiu saw the azure star, not exactly the same, but it did have some similarities: "Hmm, it's beautiful."

Chang Le reached out and retrieved the 21 round beads that had been drying in deep space. The beads were full of spiritual energy from absorbing the energy of the universe.

"I want to hug them."

As he spoke, Chang Le picked up the round bead and placed it against his heart.

A body that no longer needs a heart naturally has no heartbeat, but Chang Le can still recall the wonderful feeling of her heart pounding when she is near them.

Fu Jiu asked, "Shall we continue?"

Chang Le said, "Try again..."

So Chang Le bid farewell to this starry sky and continued forward.

But where lies ahead, and where the end is, no one knows.

The universe has no day or night, making it difficult to perceive the passage of time.

Only consciousness can suddenly convey emotions to her, telling her, "You're tired."

For what felt like the umpteenth time, Chang Le stopped, sat on a jagged blue stone, looked up at the endless deep sky, and felt a long-lost sense of despair.

The starry sky above seems endless, no matter how long the passage is torn open.

Does the starry sky have no end?

"Hmm?" Suddenly, a voice responded in my mind.

Chang Le turned his head and saw a human-shaped white light standing at the other end of the pile of bluestones.

A "human" almost identical to her, but from a different world. Chang Le wasn't surprised; she had encountered many, many similar worlds before.

"I've seen you before." The white light transmitted its consciousness into Chang Le's mind once again.

Chang Le looked up and responded in the same way: "Your scent is somewhat familiar."

“Interesting, I remember now,” said the humanoid white light. “You once visited my world, and I heard you say that you were searching for your destination in the Milky Way.”
