The meeting adjourned.
Prann and Kazmir walked together to a secluded place.
Pulan glanced at him and chuckled mockingly, "Heh, what's wrong? Not happy?"
She understood this person. He was aloof and cold-hearted, yet possessed a stubborn possessiveness.
Ah Jiu works under him, but is manipulated by Naihe at will. The master even favors Naihe more, so naturally he is not comfortable.
Kazmir wasn't angry; instead, he sneered, "You don't need to provoke me."
"Although the master is more supportive of Naihe's idea, he asked you to tell Elder Lu, which is to save face for both of us. Why would I be unhappy?"
Pulan bluntly stated, "But your puppy is going to be on the lab bench tomorrow!"
Her words were like a knife to the heart, but Kazmir's expression remained unchanged, though he rubbed a piece of ice between his fingertips.
"You won't die."
With a curt remark, Kazmir strode away.
Pulan pursed his lips and returned to his residence.
She turned on her communicator and connected to someone's call.
As soon as the communication was established and the screen turned on, Pulan immediately bowed:
"teacher."
She toned down her seductive manner and adopted a respectful attitude.
"Hmm," came a muffled voice from the other end.
Pulan looked up and exclaimed in surprise, "Teacher, what happened to your face?"
On the screen was a handsome man.
His eyebrows were sharply defined, with clear lines, and he possessed a cool and aloof demeanor.
But she was born with a pair of shimmering fox-like eyes, with a red mole at the corner of each eye, giving her a contradictory allure that made her seem like a celestial being fallen into the mortal world.
However, at this moment, half of the man's face was swollen.
It looks like he was punched.
Pulan was shocked: His teacher was a member of the Elders' Council, and his cultivation was unfathomable. How could anyone dare to hit him?
"Where did this little imp come from?"
Suddenly, the voices of other men came from the other side of the screen.
A seemingly dashing and frivolous young man stood beside the man, entering the scene.
If Hua Changle were here, he would definitely recognize that this young man is Qiao Song!
Qiao Song glanced at the man beside him and teased:
"Wow, you actually managed to keep such a gem? That's not like you, Lu Sheng."
Pulan was even more shocked: this boy actually dared to call his teacher by his given name.
Yes, this handsome man with fox-like eyes is her teacher.
—Lu Sheng, a member of the God-Making Faction Elders Council, codenamed "Nine-Tailed Fox".
Lu Sheng glared coldly at Qiao Song: "Get out."
Qiao Song pursed his lips.
I just fought with him and slapped him in the face on purpose.
Who told this guy to bully Xiao Chang Le in the past? He thinks Xiao Chang Le is a very interesting little girl, so what's wrong with helping her vent her anger?
Despite his complaints, he knew he had already thrown a punch, so he decided to stop while he was ahead and turned to leave.
He was just talking nonsense; he actually heard Pulan call him "teacher."
Moreover, just from his appearance, he could tell that this disciple, like Lu Sheng, was a naturally seductive and wicked creature.
After Qiao Song left, Lu Sheng gestured to Pu Lan, who then explained what had happened that evening.
She had just finished explaining A-Jiu's abilities when Lu Sheng suddenly interrupted:
"Wait! Superpower fusion, A-Jiu?"
Pulan, not understanding, simply nodded: "Yes, teacher."
"You said 'young man'?" Lu Sheng repeated. "Is it a boy?"
“Yes,” Pulan said. “I’ve confirmed it.”
"Although, as the information says, he was born with a defect and his aura is weaker than that of an ordinary man, it is definitely not a woman's aura."
Lu Sheng pondered for a moment, then waved his hand: "Go on."
Pulan then told him about the proposed winter return.
"Heh." Lu Sheng chuckled coldly.
"So now, even if I wanted to take 'A-Jiu' back, it's too late, right? Just letting you know would be respecting the wishes of my elders' council, wouldn't it?"
Upon seeing this, Pulan immediately said, "What does the teacher want to do? I'll go."
Lu Sheng thought for a moment before saying, "Forget it. At this critical juncture, let's not let it conflict with the plan."
"But keep an eye on Ajiu, don't let Naihe do anything reckless."
Pulan didn't understand why the teacher valued Ajiu so much, but she didn't ask any more questions and immediately agreed.
After the call ended, Lu Sheng's eyes flickered slightly, and he suddenly got up and walked out.
Qiao Song was lying on the sofa by the fireplace, occupying his spot, eating and drinking as if he were at home.
Lu Sheng ignored him, sat down to the side, and suddenly asked:
"So, you recorded two episodes of a variety show with Hua Changle?"
Qiao Song glanced at him: "Yeah. Otherwise, why would I have thought of beating you up?"
"So, did she record the third episode?"
Qiao Song paused, then shrugged: "How should I know? I didn't go to record it!"
Lu Sheng stared intently at him: "Go on the live TV show and see if she's there."
Qiao Song spat out the fruit peel with a "pui" sound: "Brother, this is Beisha. Using the Central Earth intranet requires permissions."
"Do you think this was before the natural disaster, when you could bypass internet restrictions? My body doesn't have that privilege. If I logged in recklessly, I'd be wanted by the police!"
"Don't you have the privileges? Why don't you log in and take a look yourself?"
“Hiss…” Lu Sheng frowned. “You know I can’t use any public network in the Central Plains.”
"Ouch~"
Qiao Song curled his lip and said gloatingly, "I forgot you're still wanted by the Hua family!"
"There's no other way."
Qiao Song, seemingly indifferent, slumped on the sofa and ate with gusto.
Lu Sheng looked at him for a while, then spoke softly:
“A little guy named ‘Ajiu’ has gone to the North Xun Whale Islands. He can transfer supernatural abilities and catalyze fusion.”
