"What's your name?"
"Fu Heqing".
Wang Yao chuckled: "'The River Tilts and the Moon Sets,' the night is ending and the day is about to dawn, a good name."
Chang Le nodded: "Okay, if you like it, then I'll call you Fu Heqing from now on."
Wang Yao leaned closer and said, "Aqing, your name sounds nice and makes you seem cultured. Not bad at all."
Fu Heqing moved to Chang Le's side, avoiding his approach, and said calmly, "Thank you, but I hope you can use a different form of address, such as 'doctor'."
"A doctor?" Wang Yao looked at him in surprise. "You're just a wet behind the ears, and you call yourself a doctor?"
Fu Heqing chuckled: "Yes, I am your current and future private doctor and colleague. Please take good care of me in the future."
"Alright, alright, then I'll wait and see what you've got."
The three chatted and laughed as they arrived at Fengxin Company.
Chang Le showed the receptionist a certificate, and the receptionist immediately and respectfully invited the three of them to the lounge, and then notified the manager.
Shortly after, the manager brought Chen Wu over.
Chen Wu was dressed in a khaki suit, her hair was curled, and she wore a sophisticated and bright makeup look, appearing both intellectual and capable. She did not shy away from the crisscrossing and hideous scars on her face, and walked over with a smile and a graceful demeanor.
The manager respectfully called her "Miss," and Chang Le greeted him. After confirming that Chen Wu could take leave, she took her away.
In the car, after Chang Le introduced them to each other, he said, "I just wanted you all to get to know each other today. Also, Tao Zi, she's currently studying in District Nine and can't come over for the time being. If possible, you can video chat with her later. We'll talk at Xueming Tea House."
Xueming Tea House is in the suburbs, and it takes some time to get there.
Looking at Chang Le's face, Fu Heqing said, "Miss, you look a little tired. Take a rest. We'll call you when we get there."
Wang Yao, who was sitting in front, also turned around and said, "Take a nap."
It's been several days since Chang Le arrived in District 4, and he hasn't had a proper night's sleep.
Chang Le shook his head: "I can't sleep, I'll listen to your conversation."
Chen Wu and Fu Heqing exchanged a glance, and Chen Wu said to Chang Le, "I completed my first major project yesterday."
"Oh? Tell me about it." Chang Le became interested.
Fu Heqing handed a cushion to Chang Le, and Chen Wu said gently:
"Recently, the internal turmoil in Sunny has caused unusual activity from alien species in the southern seas. District Seven has been severely weakened and lacks the confidence to cope. To better address this, they've ordered a large quantity of advanced alien detection equipment. Currently, only our Fengxin Company and the Si family of District One can mass-produce this equipment. In terms of market competitiveness alone, Fengxin Company can hardly compete with the Si family group. However, the Si family has recently been struggling to deal with the aliens in the northwest, so I..."
Chen Wu spoke slowly and deliberately, and by the time he finished the story, they had arrived at Xueming Tea House.
Chang Le led the three inside, while Zi Gui Ti waited for them at the entrance of the sound therapy center.
"Your subordinate greets the young master."
Wang Yao glared at him: "It's you!"
Zigui looked up and smiled at him: "I heard from Luo Xuan that you, Xiao Huang, have already joined the young master's side. It seems that from now on we will serve under the young master together."
Wang Yao frowned slightly: "The Pavilion Master is quite shrewd, rushing to surrender to Lele so quickly."
The cuckoo chuckled softly, "Your loyalty is as clear as day."
Wang Yao pursed his lips.
"Alright, let's go in first," Chang Le interrupted their verbal sparring.
Once inside the room, Chang Le contacted Tao Zi. After Tao Zi answered, she explained the situation, left the video call with the four of them, and then left with Zi Gui Ti.
"Young Master doesn't look well. Would you like me to arrange a treatment?" Zigui asked softly.
"No need, come sit with me on the balcony for a while."
The two sat down on the balcony of the sound therapy room. The autumn sun was just right, dispelling the chill without making them feel too hot.
Chang Le let out a long sigh, but the gloom between his brows remained.
"Is something on your mind, young master?" Zigui asked softly. "Why don't you tell me? I'm happy to be your loyal confidant."
