After deciding to meet with Su Xiaoyan the next day, Hua Changle and Hua Qingyun went back to their respective rooms.
Hua Changle washed up and went to sleep.

The door behind me was closed.

She sneered, casually dragged a chair over, and sat down opposite Lu Sheng, her posture relaxed.
Lu Sheng's interest deepened: "Aren't you afraid I'll attack you?"
Hua Changle raised an eyelid: "You? A peak eighth-rank?"
Lu Sheng's expression changed slightly:

Hua Changle retorted, "Aren't you afraid I'll use the power of the Hua family to take you down directly?"
Lu Sheng's smile vanished completely; the gentle warmth feigned by his fox-like eyes crumbled, replaced by a flirtatious and seductive allure.
He slumped back in his chair, leaning against the wall lazily.
"I've heard the rumors about you. The rumors say that although Hua Changle is crazy, he's not brainless."
"You dared to confront me alone and question me, and you were able to see through my true cultivation level, so you must have been prepared. I believe that if I make a move, you have the ability to take me down directly."
"But the fact that you're willing to sit here and talk to me now means you won't easily make a move against me."
