The waves crashing against the hull, the creaking and rocking of the ship, and the clamor of people running overhead sounded like a dense cacophony of muffled thunder.
About thirty people huddled in the cramped space in fear.

After she spoke a few times, everyone looked at her, their wariness and fear lessened.
Xiao Si breathed a sigh of relief.

With Linlin's reassurance, the group worked together to get the people on the deck and then onto another ship. Several professional psychologists, who had been prepared beforehand, placed them in different rooms on the ship.
