Moon Island is located in the sea southeast of Central Earth. To its west and south lie countries such as Sunny, and beyond the vast ocean to the east lies the Western Continent.
The reason it's not currently occupied by alien species but inhabited by humans is because a powerful extraterrestrial alien species descended upon the mountains along its southeastern coast a century ago. However, this alien species did not attack humans or their settlements; instead, it dispersed the other alien species on Moon Island and then settled in those mountains.
This unusual creature was therefore named the "Mountain Guardian Beast".
Later, humans ventured there and discovered that the guardian beasts preferred cooked human food and medicinal potions. Gradually, more and more people migrated to Moon Island, and order became increasingly chaotic, but the reverence and worship of the guardian mountain range became a customary practice.
