Chapters 3576 and 3588: [Judy's Discarded Teacher-Student Comic]

At this point, Ran Mouri suddenly remembered something and hesitated: "But Mika's cooking is so good that she's fully booked every day. I don't know if she'll have time to serve me if I come here now."

As they were talking, suddenly, an angry shout came from the alley next door.

A middle-aged woman shouted, "Meixiang, stop! I haven't finished speaking yet!"

"Hmm?" At the entrance of the barbershop, Suzuki Sonoko's ears twitched, and she whispered to Jiang Xia, "There's someone in the alley! — Could the 'Mika' she mentioned be the hairdresser that Ran likes?"

Jiang Xia walked towards the alley entrance: "We'll see when we get there."

The other three quickly followed. The four of them peered curiously through the corner of the wall and saw two women standing facing each other in the narrow alley next to the shop, the atmosphere tense.

The younger, long-haired woman seemed to want to leave, but was stopped by the middle-aged woman opposite her.

The middle-aged woman said anxiously, "Explain yourself clearly, what exactly happened!"

Mika Mitsui sighed: "Manager, haven't I made myself clear enough—I'm switching to another store, so starting next week, I won't be coming here anymore."

The store manager pressed his lips tightly together, his nasolabial folds furrowed with anger: "This decision is too sudden, I can't possibly agree to it! Besides..."

At that moment, a junior employee pushed open the side door of the shop hidden in the alley, interrupting her.

"Manager," the employee whispered, "a customer is looking for you."

The store manager took a deep breath in frustration: "I know, I'll be right there. Tell him to wait a moment."

The employees dared not say a word, and just like when they arrived, they quietly closed the door and retreated back into the store.

"In short..." Midori Goshima had a lot more to say, but time was short, so she could only sum it all up in one sentence: "I will absolutely not let you leave the company like this!"

After saying that, the angry store manager snorted, opened the side door, and went back into the store.

Looking at the door that had been slammed shut, Mitsui Mika sighed wearily.

Just as she was about to turn and leave, she suddenly noticed four heads peeking out from the corner of the wall, some of which looked quite familiar.

Mika Mitsui paused, recognizing her regular customer. Although she was in a bad mood, she still smiled and greeted her, "Ran, you're here."

"Mi-Mika-nee." Caught eavesdropping, Ran Mouri looked embarrassed and tried to start a conversation, "Are you looking to change jobs?"

Mika Mitsui shook her head and said frankly, "I'm not changing jobs, I'm switching to another company. Other stores have offered to recruit me."

After a pause, looking at Ran Mouri in front of her, Mika Mitsui smiled and said, "Going to a banquet again? The manager has been scheduling me very full these past few days, there's really no room for anyone else. Hmm, let me think... Right! Tomorrow morning."

She said, "I should have some time before work tomorrow. Although I don't have time to perm or dye it, it won't be a problem to just trim it for you. Xiaolan, your hair is in great condition, and it will look very nice with just a trim."

Ran Mouri hesitated for a moment. Actually, she wasn't in a hurry to get a haircut, but since the conversation had already gone this far, it would feel too awkward to refuse again, so she happily agreed: "Then I'll trouble you!"

But a second later, seeing Mitsui Mika's sleepy appearance, this conscientious high school girl hesitated for a moment, and finally told the truth:

“If you’re too busy, Meixiang, I can come to the new store to see you in a few days. Actually, I don’t have any banquets to attend recently. I came here because I just visited my foreign teacher at a nearby hospital. I had some time to spare when I left, so I thought I’d take a stroll around the area.”

"Foreign teacher?" Mitsui Mika suddenly remembered something and hesitated, "Speaking of which, I once saw you shopping with a foreign woman with short blonde hair and glasses... Could that person be your school's foreign teacher?"

Sonoko Suzuki nodded: "That's right! You've actually met her before?"

Mika Mitsui hesitated, as if she wanted to say something but then stopped herself.

Jiang Xia glanced at her: "What's wrong?"

"Ah! Well, it's nothing serious." Mika Mitsui, who was somewhat lost in thought, was startled by his question.

After some hesitation, the hairdresser, who was about to switch jobs and move to a distant place, finally couldn't suppress his pounding conscience and decided to give his old customer some free information.

"I didn't expect that lady to be a teacher." Mitsui Mika's expression was somewhat complicated. She looked around, then lowered her voice and said to the three innocent high school students in front of her:

"That teacher seems to live nearby. She occasionally comes here to get her hair cut... But that's not the point. The point is that one morning, when I was taking out the trash for the shop, I saw her covering her face with a scarf and wearing a hat, sneaking to the trash can and throwing down a stack of things."

"Although most of the area was covered up, as you know, I'm a hairdresser and I'm very sensitive to hair color—such natural and soft blonde hair is really rare, so I recognized her immediately."

"Well... although it's not a good thing to do this, I was really curious when I saw her like that, so, right after she left, I went to the garbage dump."

"I put down the trash and saw that what she threw away was a stack of comics bundled together, with a piece of white paper on top covering the cover."

"I lifted a corner of the white paper and saw some... well, some strange drawings. I was quite shocked, so I looked at the spine on the side of the book..."

Hearing her pause, Sonoko Suzuki, filled with curiosity, urged, "What kind of books are those?"

Mika Mitsui stammered, trying to find the right words: "They're all, all comic books about teachers and students, the very unique, very strange kind—I didn't know she was a teacher before, I just thought this foreigner had unusual taste, but now..."

She paused, then suddenly raised her hand and slapped Mouri Ran and Jiang Xia hard on the shoulders, saying heavily, "You two must protect yourselves! Even if she's a teacher, don't listen to everything she says. If you feel something is wrong, refuse it immediately! Then tell other teachers and parents, or call the police!"

"..."

Although it wasn't said directly, the two high school girls weren't entirely clueless. After a moment of confusion, seeing Mitsui Mika's serious expression, they suddenly understood something, and their faces flushed red.

Just then, a shout came from inside the store. A junior employee called out from afar, "Sister Meixiang, your guest who made a reservation has arrived!"

"Alright, I have to go back to work." Mitsui Mika glanced at her watch and waved to the children in front of her.

Remembering what she had said halfway through, she said to Ran Mouri, "The new shop is really far away, it's too much trouble for you to come all the way here. Why don't you come to my place for a haircut tomorrow morning?"
