Chapter 115 Kiss

As dusk fell and the stars began to appear, Qinghe sat by the window, idly flipping through a thick book.

The book contains some interesting little stories, perhaps written by the author who recorded the strange and wonderful things he encountered during his travels.

The text was witty and humorous, but Qinghe didn't seem to get into it. Her gaze kept falling on Qirong, and she seemed to be lost in thought.

Qi Rong walked over and gently tapped Qing He on the head with the book in her hand. "Be serious."

Qinghe looked up at him, her eyes like clear waves, and after a long while asked, "How is Sufeng?"

Qi Rong: "He's fine."

Qing tilted her head, "Really?"

Qi Rong nodded.

Looking into his captivating, fiery red eyes, which seemed to draw her in, Qinghe murmured softly, "That's good..."

They were so close, closer than ever before. Every pore on her face was clearly visible. Qi Rong's hot breath brushed against her face, burning with intense passion.

Her first impression was that the lips were very soft.

The kiss was gentle; that was her second impression.

She felt dizzy and her vision was very dark; this was her third sensation, and she instinctively closed her eyes.

In this tender and intimate moment, an inopportune question suddenly popped into her mind: Why do people unconsciously close their eyes when kissing? Is it to avoid seeing the other person and thus increase the stimulation? Or is it to avoid seeing the other person's overly magnified facial features? Or is it for some other reason?

At times like this, no one answers her foolish question.

The sound of something falling to the ground startled the two of them.

Qinghe suddenly stepped back and turned his back.

Qi Rong squinted at the source of the sound, her expression quite unpleasant.

Shen Xun remained motionless, still in the position where the book had fallen to the ground, his hands resting on his waist.

His dark eyes darted around, "Have I disturbed you?"

Qi Rong coldly replied, "What do you think?"

Shen Xun picked up the book again, a smug smile on his face. "Oh dear, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to. I just didn't expect there to be people outside, especially you guys, and you greeted me so warmly. I was flattered and accidentally dropped the book."

He put the books back in their original places one by one, saying, "You're a magnanimous person, don't hold it against a child like me."

A little kid? Quite good at pretending to be young.

Qinghe turned around, his face showing no sign of distress. Pretending nothing had happened, he said to the two, "Now that we've finished talking and your injuries have healed, it's time to set off." With that, he flicked his sleeve and left.

Qi Rong still exuded a cold aura that threatened to tear Shen Xun to pieces. Shen Xun's expression changed, but he looked at the dazzling stars outside the window and said nonchalantly, "Ah, the moonlight is so beautiful tonight, and the stars are lovely too..."

She skipped away, leaving Qi Rong alone, gritting her teeth.

...

On the vast and boundless Black Sea, a single sail is raised, and the massive airship once again sails across the Black Sea, steadily making its way towards its destination.

On the boat, Qing, Qi Rong, and Shen Xun sat together, listening to Qi Rong recount the past.

The nine-headed Fiery Phoenix played alone on a section of the deck, occasionally letting out a melodious and ethereal cry, like a captivating song from the sea.

"So, you are a nine-tailed fox with nine lives, and Su Feng is one of your incarnations."

Qi Rong felt a little awkward hearing this, but couldn't quite put her finger on what the problem was, so she nodded.

Qinghe stood up and circled around him, as if looking for something.

What are you looking for?

Qinghe stopped. "Where's the tail?"

Qi Rong saw a strange excitement in her eyes. "When I usually appear in human form, I naturally keep my tail hidden."

"Show it to me quickly!"

Qi Rong didn't know what excited her, but she did as she wished.

In a short while, a nine-tailed, red-clad fox spirit with pointed ears appeared before them.

Qinghe's eyes lit up instantly, especially when his gaze swept over the nine fluffy tails.

Qi Rong, with her fox-like form, was alluring and seductive, as if an ancient demon had appeared and bewitched the land.

The oppressive aura emanating from him was so strong that it filled the air with a dangerous atmosphere. The nine-headed fire phoenix, which had been playing happily nearby, spread its wings and flew into the sky after sensing the danger, disappearing without a trace.

But no matter how mysterious and dangerous her appearance was, in Qinghe's eyes, Qi Rong was a cute little fox at this moment, making her want to reach out and touch her.

She did indeed do that, but as soon as her fingers touched the downy hairs at the tip of the tail, the nine tails disappeared instantly as if stimulated by something.

Qi Rong's gaze was somewhat unnatural. "Fox tails are sensitive, you'd better... not touch them."

Qinghe saw the person she wanted to see, so she stopped pressuring him and happily sat down opposite him, waiting for what was to come.

Qi Rong composed herself and continued, "Su Feng is born with the same blood as me and is also a guarantee for me to stay in the God Realm. Once I am seriously injured and fall into a coma, Su Feng will be aware of it, wake up from his newborn state, and continue to live in this world in my place, and vice versa."

Qinghe: "So now Sufeng has also fallen back into a coma, just like you before?"

Qi Rong: "Yes."

Qinghe was silent for a moment, then asked, "Who else knows about this?"

Qi Rong's eyes sparkled: "Sifang Jun, Ke Yao, and that old tree bark."

Something strange has gotten in here, "old tree bark?"

Shen Xun, standing to the side, said, "It is Senior Divine Tree."

Qing and Ming said, "That's quite a vivid description. So where is Su Feng now? Isn't it dangerous for him to be unconscious?"

Qi Rong conjured a folding fan out of thin air and waved it casually. "The Divine Tree Space is guarded by the old tree bark. No one can touch it in the slightest."

Qing and Anxin said, "That's good."

Qi Rong suddenly stood up and leaned closer to her, "Have you fallen for him?"

The fragrance of ink was intoxicating. Qinghe leaned back lazily and said, "Guess."

Qi Rong's lips curled up, and she slightly lifted Qing He's chin with her folding fan. "I guess you won't."

Although it was a flirtatious remark, Red Eyes stared intently into her eyes, not missing a single expression.

Qinghe extended a finger, its slender white tip slowly sliding down the folding fan to touch Qirong's palm, scratching at Qirong's heart like a cat's paw.

"Congratulations, you guessed right."

Is there a reward?

What reward do you want?

"I want……"

Seeing the blatant flirting, the only audience member, Shen Xun, turned his gaze away expressionlessly and looked into the distance. "You guys should be more careful. I'm still a child."

Qi Rong sat back down and fanned herself, while Qing He turned around and leaned on the railing to admire the beautiful scenery, as if what had just happened was an illusion.

The nine-headed fiery phoenix landed on the bow of the ship. The powerful spiritual pressure of the Black Sea made it give up circling in the air and lie down on the deck, wrapping itself in its wings to rest.
